This definitely fit small - I normally wear size 0 Petite dresses/skirts and XS Petite shirts (my friend and I in this picture are both about 5'1"/5'2" petite women) , but I could NOT have gotten the size 38 (0) to zip had I tried. The 40 (2) was perfect for me, and if I were the least bit bigger, I likely would have needed to size up. That being said, the well-fitting size was great! I loved the built-in bustier, with both bra-like fasteners for the bustier AND a zipper for the exterior fabric :O My favorite feature of this dress is its versatility - I had no idea how formal this wedding would be (no dress code on the invite!), so I wanted something that would fit into either a semi-casual or formal event. Turns out, it was mostly cowboy-casual - and I still didn't stick out! I'd highly recommend this dress for anybody looking to feel great for a night or two (and as previously mentioned, doesn't have larger-than-C cups.

I received so many compliments all night! The red, print and material are amazing. I felt so sexy in it. I had to size up because the top half runs small. I also do not recommend the dress for family function if you are busty. IMO, it might be considered "trashy". However, for a fun night out with your girls or date it would be amazing! The quality of material was great! No cons for me with this rental and definitely worth the cost.

It fit really well. There is a corset bra built in the dress so you can adjust the tightness. I was worried my boob would pop out while I danced, but none happened that I am aware of. I got lots of compliments and my date couldn't keep his hands off me

I rented this for a wedding in Hawaii but ended up wearing it to the dinner welcome drinks out on a yacht the night before the wedding. The dress fit perfectly, great material so you don't feel like you can't move even though it is fitted. I would re-rent this a hundred times, LOVE it!

This dress is just awesome!!! It was comfortable, super tight but the out lace layer made it forgiving and flattering. The back dips down to mid back so makes it a little edgy. Loved the stretch and that it hugged my curves just perfectly! It has a built in bra that is very supportive and would make it so similar to wear! Larger chested girls might have some issues and may want to go up a size, but smaller chested girl like myself will do just fine with her regular size! Unfortunately, I didn't wear this one bc was a little too revealing for a family wedding but will definitely be renting this beauty again and recommend it to anyone and everyone because it is sure to turn heads and make you feel like a million bucks!

Fabulously bright colors and a bustier top give off a bombshell look. The classic Missoni knit material meets a unique, unexpected pattern. This dress does run small, so I'd definitely size up and would not recommend it if you're bigger than a C cup. I tried the size 2, but I would have preferred and been more comfortable in the 4. The fabric is slightly stretchy, which helps with the fit especially in the hip area. Wear your hair up to show off the strapless sweetheart neckline and open back.

I wore this dress for an afternoon wedding with the ceremony at a church and the reception at a private property afterwards. I paired it with a simple cream cape for the ceremony to keep it classy and then just wore the dress by itself for the after party. I am straight up-and-down athletic build and it fit me almost perfectly. It was a little tight right at the top of my bust, however the next size would've been too big. It has a bra-like tightening system in a strange spot right under your arm which was a tiny bit uncomfortable but other than that loved everything about this dress and received a lot of compliments on it.

I'm between a 4 and 6 depending on the brand, and I thought this dress fit true to size. I didn't have to wear a bra with it, which was a huge plus. I also didn't find myself pulling it up too much throughout the night while dancing, and I have a smaller bust. The knit overlay made the dress so unique, but just be careful to not snag it on anything! Overall, this dress was a win, and I got a lot of compliments!

It was ok not great. I really didn't get the wow factor but , it was cute. It was big in the hips but, I'm so narrow might be my body.

I didn't have any cons, the pros it looked great on. I am a size 4/6 depending on the designer (hourglass figure). I read the reviews and sized according to the reviews. I was comfortable in this dress. We always go to the same restaurant for our anniversary, which was actually Sunday the 12th, but he wanted to go out Sat evening as well. 15 yrs. So I rented 2 dresses. They didn't have the smaller size so no backup. But the dress fit like it was made for me. Loved it.. I would rent this again.

Rented this for a dressier Halloween party. There are cups and a corset attached to the inside of the dress, so I would recommend going a size up and if you have a very large cup size, maybe not doing this one at all.

I thought that rent the runway was supposed to be a "cheaper" alternative to buying a dress that you only wear once, so when I saw the rental price of over $250, I was a little skeptical. However, when seeing the fabric and the craftsmanship of this dress, I definitely understood the price. It truly was a high end designer dress. The quintessential Missoni fabric even had a tinge of sparkle to it, which made the dress feel and look rich. The perfect summer cocktail dress. Definitely a headturner without being too flashy or hootchie. I ordered the size 4 based on the reviews of it being a little snug, and hoped to get the complimentary size 2 as a backup. Unfortunately, the size 2 was not available. I wish it were, just to see how it fit. Since I am under 5'0", I have to get just about every dress I own altered. Fortunately, this hit right at my knees, so it didn't look like a little girl wearing her mom's dress. The top of the size 4 fit my 34C bust perfectly, but the waist down was a little loose (even though I do have a larger than average butt). I truly wish I could have compared the two to see which was the better fit. There is a built in bustier (bra), so you don't need to wear one which is really nice. Even though it is strapless, the dress also stays in place, so you aren't constantly pulling it up. Besides not getting the complimentary 2nd size, I was also disappointed with the boning in the bustier. On the right side of the dress, there was a piece of boning that has gone a little haywire. It juts out instead of laying flat and gives your chest a weird shape (almost like a 3rd mini boob). I had to be conscious about keeping my right arm down. I wonder if there is structurally something that can be done to fix it, but if you're ordering the size 4, beware. Given how expensive this dress is, I doubt there are many in the RTR inventory.

Love the shape, print and color on this dress. I would usually wear a 38, but ordered a 40 and 42 because it runs small. the 40 wasn't available, so I wore the 42. It looked really good, but the 40 would have been the perfect fit.

Great dress in terms of well designed. Love the built in bra- tight on top and a bit loose in the hips for my body type. Color pops and I wore with the straps which are optional.

Runs super small, and don't even think about it if you have boobs. Beautiful dress and I wish it fit better than it did. If I were smaller all over I'd definitely consider.

I didn't end up wearing this dress but he fit was perfect. True to size. I didn't end up wearing because it has a shimmer on it that isn't clear in the pictures.

I'm a solid 34D and a typical dress size 4. While this does have a built in bra (which is awesome) I still did not feel held in enough to wear it. It's also a fairly thin material so my stomach pudge was definitely showing. If it had fit correctly it would have been gorgeous! It's almost a modern take on a Jessica Rabbit dress.
