I loved the ombre effect of this dress, the picture doesn't do it justice! I ended up going a size up because it was so warm the day of the wedding I went to, and I was worried about being too hot (didn't want anything too clingy). I didn't really need to worry--the fabric was thin and breathed really well. It is a pretty shape and photographs well, I would definitely rent it again! I was a little disappointed to find that there was a snag along the side of the dress that was about four inches long--I don't think anyone but me noticed, but it was definitely there.

The fabric has a lot of elasticity to it - it's very comfortable. It's thin, but nicely lined inside. Can wear a normal bra with it. I suggest pairing it with the Kenneth Jay Lane Gold Shadow bib necklace - it was a hit! Looked shorter on the model - perfect length on my 5'2" frame. Sexy but not too short!

The picture does not do the print justice! The gold was incredible. Although the dress seems very structured it was very comfortable and I didn't want to take it off. I have no complaints!

I normally wear a size 4 in formal dresses, so I ordered this dress in size 38 and 40. The 38 I couldn't even get zipped, and the 40 fit perfectly. The fabric is very lightweight and has a lot of stretch. Also ordered the Kenneth Jay Lane necklace from RTR- this is what made the dress! The neckline is a high V-neck and kind of boring, and I thought it, overall, looked about 10 times better with the bib necklace.

The dress had a good amount of stretch and was a thin comfortable cotton. I was on the fence when I rented it, but absolutely loved this dress! It was perfect for the holiday party I attended. Just the right amount of aparkle, classy and cute!

They were out of the size I wanted as my backup so I was scared of only having the smaller one, but it ended up fitting perfectly! The hem of the dress was a little messed up, like someone had tugged on it a lot making it droop down in two spots, but I don't think anyone else besides me noticed. It was beautiful and so much fun to wear, you can never go wrong with Missoni!

The dress fit great, not too snug and, while short enough to be sassy, not so short that I was self-conscious or tugging at it all night. Super comfortable. The color and fabric were amazing (what else would you expect from Missoni), and complimented my skin tone. My only issues were with the lining, which was substantial and well made, but perhaps a bit too thick/heavily seamed. The zipper also was a bit difficult, and didn't lie completely flat at the bottom (see second picture). Otherwise, great dress I would love to own, or rent again.

The dress was very comfortable and stretchy, but maybe a bit short for 5'7".

The RTR stylist picked this out for me when one of my dresses could not be shipped. It looked and fit great for a summer anniversary dinner/weekend. Light weight, fit perfect with just enough stretch.

I wore this dress for my 54 th birthday and it is a very beautiful and sofisticated looking dress . Like the other reviews it feels like wearing a slip, very stretchy material, hugs all the right places and the length felt perfect. I am 5'6", 115 lbs, 34c and the size 40 was a perfect fit.

This dress was absolutely amazing. I wore it for my rehearsal dinner and it was a huge hit. The fabric was gorgeous and the fit was perfect. The fabric has a bit of stretch so made it very comfortable for my beer garden dinner. It is fitting on the hips, so want to keep that in mind. I did not want to take this dress off and is a piece I could see in my closet that is pretty versatile due to the cut and look of the dress. Love love love!

I loved this dress! Great for a french wedding. The dress has shine so it's even dressier than it looks in the picture. The fit was very easy because the dress has stretch and it was very comfortable. It was a bit big on my hips (the 38 fits like a 2 I would say) but it still looked great and I got tons of compliments!

Liked this dress as a different, unique piece that added variety to my usual wedding repertoir, but not one I'd rave over. As someone else reviewed, the neckline is really not particulary attractive or flattering, so I threw on a statement necklace. Wore this with the KENNETH JAY LANE Mod Squared Necklace (also from RTR). Together I think they made a nice golden ensemble

Loved this dress! I wore it to a night at the Ballet. It was classy with the perfect amount of edge. I paired it with a black Love Moschino handbag and a gold House of Harlow cuff. I ordered sizes 40 and 42, but ended up going with the 40. The material is stretchy, so I suggest sizing down for backup; though the 40 fit very well, I probably could have squeezed into the 38. I would definitely recommend this dress to anyone attending a formal occasion. And a plus- it is SO comfortable!

I had hoped to order the 38 and the 40, but only the 38 was available, so I took a chance. (I normally wear a 2, and this was labeled as 0/2) I probably would have worn the 40 if I had tried it, as the dress was definitely shorter than I had imagined, but it was very comfortable! The fabric also has a bit of stretch, so it's an easy fit if you have to go with a smaller size. No need for a special bra/tape, etc. The fabric has a shimmer and is more beautiful than in the photo. I know every review says this, but I got a ton of compliments!

Neutral tones with the hint of gold woven throughout make this selection super special. It was indeed shorter than dresses I typically wear. Just be warned that if you're used to knee length or just above it does hit substantially higher and should definitely be classified in mini territory. It's a beautiful dress that makes a subtle statement.

Wore this dress to a Great Gatsby themed MBA party. It was short, but it worked! Cons: there was a bit of pulling along the hem on the bottom and at the neck, hence the 4 stars instead of 5. Pros: very beautiful fabric! Comfortable, stretchy knit. I usually wear between a 4 and a 6 and I wore the size 40. My backup was a 38 as the 42 wasn't available; I might have sized up given the chance just for a bit more length. Shipping and overall RTR experience was amazing as always!

Well fitted. The gold material was bilingual while the cut was conservative so overall the look was classy.

I normally wear a size 4 US so I was a bit nervous when RTR only had the size 40. The sizing chart showed that it may be too small, but the reviews showed that women with similar body types to me wore the 40 and it fit. Luckily success! The 40 fit perfectly.

Perfect fit! It hugs my figure without be skin tight. The lining of this dress is so soft and it was very easy to wear. It's really stunning and my BF cannot stop talking about how much he loves this dress. I've already booked it for the 2nd time for a vacation to San Diego.

I couldn't believe how beautiful and delicate this dress is in person. It fit perfectly. I ordered a size down (40) as my backup and could have worn that one, too, but I went for the larger of the two sizes because the 42 was a bit longer.

First of all the Vegas store was so much fun. You see these dresses on line and choose based on reviews but its a whole different experience getting to try on as many as you want! I was in Vegas for a company conference and needed a dress for the awards banquet. This dress was classy and so easy to wear. I felt covered and conservative but still sexy. My husband chose the dress out of all of the ones I tried on. I agreed it fit for my work event and the shimmer gave it a Vegas feel so I could wear it out after the banquet.

Missoni knows how to fit the female figure! This dress seemed tailored just for me! It gives a 60's film star glam. It was the perfect length for me, but will be quite brief on a tall girl. I paired it with gold slides and jewelry. The material has a classy metallic sheen. It's very comfortable, too, like wearing a slip!

The color is a little more beige than gold but still looks nice against pale skin

This dress fit me great- but I'm 5'3". If I wasn't so short, the dress would have been way to short to wear to a wedding. It was extremely comfortable.

I wore the 40, though it was a tad loose, but that made it super-comfortable, almost like a regular jersey dress you've forgot you slipped on. The fabric is very soft with plenty of give. I knew I wouldn't want it to be any shorter, so I didn't even bother to try on the 38. I also loved being able to wear a non-strapless bra and move freely. My main complaint (besides the fact that gold isn't the best color for me, which is not the dress's fault), is that the neckline was a bit high, so it needed a necklace to not look off.

I got this dress as a backup dress and didn't end up wearing it. It fit me fine, but it simply didn't look appropriate for a wedding. The combination of its short length, tightness, and shimmery thin material made me feel I was dressed for clubbing rather than a wedding. The color also didn't contrast much against my skin, which has yellow undertones. (I saw that a lot of other RTR customers wore this dress to weddings and thought it looked great in their photos though, so I guess it just didn't work on me.)

It fit nicely and the material is beautiful - thin, but gorgeous. I'm blonde and fair skinned, and the gold / champagne color just washed me out. I think if you have olive / dark skin (or at least a tan!) it would look much better. Not a forgiving material.

I ordered this dress because I needed to wear a gold dress for a wedding I was in. The dress is nice. It was comfortable and had a little sparkle which was good. The fit was pretty much as described, however, it was just too short for a wedding. Had it been for a party or night out, it may have been ok, but just not appropriate length for my event.

I wore this dress with a jean jacket and cowboy boots for a country concert. It was perfect. It has a nice subtle shimmer.
