The web colors on this dress really don't do the colors justice - the blue is incredibly rich, almost marine. The fabric of this dress is really flattering - it's a thicker fabric that, unlike a jersey knit, won't hug lingerie lines or post-baby pooches. I loved the just-above-my-knee length, and the body-skimming sheath cut. Since it doesn't cling, I think it would be really flattering to most body types, but I could see being tall as an added bonus - probably why I didn't have problems with the strap length.

This dress is incredible. The pattern and colors are perfect for a summer time party! The dress hit me mid-thigh wearing 4" heels, and flared out slightly. The fabric did have some stretch, and fit very effortlessly. My only complaint was that the straps were a little long. Overall, a wonderful dress!

I wore this to a high school reunion - it is perfect for a casual, summertime, cocktail event. The dress got lots of compliments. The lurex has a lovely subtle shimmer, which is most evident in daylight. On a petite frame, the hemline is close to the knee. The top is close fitting but somewhat stretchy. I'm 35, 25, 35 and the size 38 fit just right on top and slightly loose on the hips. I docked one star because as another reviewer mentioned, this dress would require tailoring for most people - the straps were at least an extra two inches too long on me and required pinning under the dress.

Such an awesome dress - the material is pretty and the colors are attention-getting.
