I rented this right before a trip and it was literally the perfect spring transition piece. Can literally be worn with almost any outfit. I would have preferred the xs but the small fit just fine with the buckle tied into a knot

I am obsessed with this Marissa Webb vest - so much I've rented it multiple times. The small wasn't available so I made due with the medium. Even though I'm usually a small, I didn't mind wearing this a bit oversized. The structure has just enough attitude, and the cut our sides make the vest very slimming. THIS IS A MUST RENT.

The belt is attached in the back, so you only have so many options to use the belt. You basically can't use it any way other than to tie it in the front middle as closure. Other than that, this is truly a unique and fun piece. I read another review where a woman said she wore this 3 times during her rental: with a romper, a dress, with jeans and a shirt. I wore this once so far just to walk around Santa Monica but I DEFINITELY will be wearing this to work and anywhere else I can wear it to, until everyone I know has seen it. Only then will I be satisfied. The cutout sides were standouts, as well as the button-up sides (which are functional buttons). The collar detail and pockets and belt are all great touches as well. I have gotten several compliments and am deeply considering buying this. My favorite everyday item I've rented so far!

This vest is a great 3rd piece. High quality is evident. I would've actually bought it, but think the L was just a bit big on me. The belt can easily correct any sizing issue if too big or wear open if it's too small, or just for another look. I will probably get it again in a M and then decide if I need it in my life permanently lol

The picture does not do it justice! So many compliments and still trying to decide if I'm going to purchase it. Such a fun piece and would make a great staple in the closet. True to size and very comfortable. It still had to tags on it when I got it.

Pretty bulky even when sized down, and I didn't like it sized up so I kept it open. Easy layering piece!

Its structure is a little more floppy than anticipated, but it was still an awesome wear. It was a cool piece to add, especially cause it's not something I would buy.

Loved this vest! An interesting piece to add some interest my my all-black outfit. Tie hits higher than the waist, so would suggest sizing down to wear without tying. If you can tie it, its even more flattering/slimming. Polished enough for the office, but also loved wearing it over the weekend.

I really wanted to like this vest, but there was just a bit too much hardware / pockets / extra fabric for me to feel entirely comfortable in this.

Liked this idea of this more than the item. It has a lot going on - straps, cut outs, zippers, buttons. Like the idea but was a little busy on and in pictures. Fits a little short waisted.

This vest was adorable. I wish I had time to take a picture. I wore it to New Orleans and received many compliments. It was so comfortable and you could pair it with long sleeves, short sleeves or a tank. Wore it with jeans and tee then changed to shorts and tank. It was very well made and adjustable. The belt did hit right below my chest but it worked. I'm 5'10 and a 36DDD and I didn't feel Tits Mcgee which I usually do in vests.

Love love love!! Great piece for layering. Will definitely be renting again. Runs true to size. Great piece, but the item I received was a bit more worn than I would have liked. RTR needs to pay better attention to quality control and retire items before they look too drab.

This vest is SOOO flattering for an hourglass figure! Can be worn so many ways and it is super casual chic! Had to pin the top snap on each side so it didn't unsnap each time I sat down or wiggled- but no biggie (both sides snap up- I didn't realize this when I rented it).

All of the big pockets were great for my daily commute on the train! The only con was that the fabric was a little stiff, definitely a military throw-back feel to it. It was fun to pair with both summer frilly dresses as well as to throw over a shirt and jeans

wore this 4 of the 6 days i had it for unlimited. zipped up with dress pants with long sleeve dress shirt; unzipped over tank with stretch pants to a baseball game, over a dress, and over a romper. i loved it, but it was such a statement, i wouldn't have worn it so often long-term. loved how i felt in it and all the compliments i received - the majority of which were "not sure what it is that you have on, but I love it!"

This is was so fun to wear, worked well for cool spring days. I would definitely rent again!

This is probably one of the most fun pieces I have rented from RTR after 50+ pieces. The photo does not do this garment justice. The collar is adorable and I tied the belt like a robe. It cinched the waist and looked great (not as bulky as the photo depicts). I paired with skinnies (not boyfriend jeans like the photo so I could enhance the vest and streamline my silhouette) and metallic flats. People raved. Is this a hunting vest? A fashion vest? An apron? "This is so cool! What is this? Where did you get it?" I'll probably re-rent this again, and next time...wear it over a simple, casual dress.
