I rented the size 10 for my 11 year old. The front and back panels are unlined and completely see though - perhaps for a younger child that would be okay, but for a tween it's not. Had I read the other review I would have know about the contrasting fabric in the back - as it's not mentioned in the description.

The back has a very cool contrasting blue plaid... I wish they made a mommy version!
