i am usually a size 12 on the bottom and size 14/16 on top/large chested. monique lhuillier gowns i previously rented were size 16. this one however was super small on my bust. RTR was able to overnight the next 2 sizes up but i was shocked even size 18 didn’t fit me! i had to wear size 20 which was gaping but at least it zipped. regardless, the gown looked absolutely stunning on me & pics looked amazing. i highly recommend to fellow curvy gals but beware you may need to size up immensely.

Stunning dress, love the color and the style. I did size up from my original dress size. Pros: if you are someone who doesn't like to show too much like I am( arms, cleavage area, legs) this dress is for you. It shows just enough. Cons: it is a little tight and hard to sit in if it fits true to your size (like it did for me) and will fit big if you size up. I ordered a regular size and it was still way to long for me, so dragged a lot. I did end up wearing the 16 Regular

This gown is gorgeous! I'm 5'6 and the length was perfect. How ever the dress doesn't have any stretch to it so it was a bit snug around the waist but made it work (used some shape wear and it was better) I'm usually a 12/14 but had to go up a size. Received many compliments Would rent again

Dress was a bit snug on me, but that’s no surprise; I wear a 2 more often than a 0 (see below for my size details). Bust fit quite tightly for me and I could only zip the dress without a bra, but dress didn’t require a bra, so it was fine. Really loved the elegance of this gown. All my family loved it, even got compliments from the grooms family! Plus it really shows off your chest, no bra needed!

The color and silhouette were beautiful and the slit wasn't too high, but I could barely breathe! I normally wear a size 14 and ended up wearing the 16 and it was still way too tight. I couldn't even move enough to put my own shoes on.

didn't wear it as it didn't come in time but I did try it on and it's very beautiful. I ordered an 18L and 20L, and I did have to go to the larger size in order for it to zip up on me.

Never wore this. It didn't fit. I've never had a dress fit my lower half but not zip up the top half. I am bigger but have an hour glass shape with wider hips and big butt and could not get this zipped up. I honestly think I would have needed a 22 at least for this dress to fit and I typically wear size 18.

Fun & beautiful dress, however... GO A SIZE UP!!!!! Def impossible to zip up without taping DOWN my boobs!!

True fit and the darts in the dress perfectly draped my hips. Unfortunately the color did nothing paired with my fair skin.

I didn't end up wearing this dress- I sized up a size knowing dresses can run small. It fit well but wasn't very flattering in the waist and the slit just sat kind of weird.

Fit was tight and the slit went up way too high. I'm normally an 8/10 but this dress nearly didn't zip.

I picked two dress sizes- even went up a size, and neither dress fit. Two sizes that should have fit easily. I could not use either dress for my family member's wedding. Overall very upset with the result.
