In short - this dress was amazing and I've never had more compliments in my life. The picture does NOT do it justice - in person it is nothing short of amazing. In terms of fit - it is definitely smaller than I expected it to be and there is no give at all to the fabric. For such an expensive dress, it is not the most comfortable I've worn - the boning really cut into my rib cage and left bruises. I also don't think this dress would've fit if my boobs were much smaller (I'm actually a 36DD) and was even a little loose at the top, but very tight at the waist. That being said, this was the PERFECT dress for a black tie wedding and I wish I could own it!

This dress is beautiful and flowy and I felt like a million bucks while wearing it. A perfect stranger complimented me as we walked down the street and I definitely turned some heads. As others have mentioned the bodice is TIGHT and required two people to zip it. I worked with my image consultant to find the right level of accessories for the event and she dressed it down just enough to work with my husband's suit. I am in my 49's and worried about it feeling "prom dressy" or too young but I think I pulled it off, particularly with the accessories.

This fabric is 100% silk and has absolutely no give. I would recommend sizing up if you can - I have a rather small bust but I think one size up would have been perfect. I usually wear a size 6 dress but this came in an 8R and I could have used a 10R due to the seam right at the waist. The zipper is super hard to zip b/c the fabric is so thick but once its on, you won't want to take it off!! I got compliments all night and it was perfect for my Dad's Marine Corps Ball!

I was so disappointed with this dress because it looks so beautiful in the photos. I rented it for a ball but I couldn't even zip up the bigger size that I ordered (a 4). Also in person, this dress actually looked like a bad bridesmaid dress :(. So relieved when I returned it the same day RTR gave me credit for it not fitting.

Runs so small I couldn't zip it up all the way and had to wear a wrap.
