I originally rented this for NYE, but it wasn't available in my size, so I went with something else. I wore the size 10 for Valentines Day, and I do love the shape of it, but the fit is a bit tough on top. This style is great if you are smaller around the waist, with a fuller chest. The size 10 fit my perfectly in the waist, but was a bit big up on top. I did not have to wear a bra with this style, which is amazing as a 36D, but I was pulling the straps up all night, so this style can be a bit tricky with smaller shoulders. Definitely a gorgeous style! For NYE, the size 6 definitely was not happening, and the size 8 was perfect in the top, but too tight in the waist, so I do think you need to have a certain body type for this style--a more narrow body, with a fuller bust.

I ordered this dress as a replacement for my original order that got destroyed by a previous renter. It is beautifully constructed. The tailoring is what makes the dress special, its totally flattering. I had issues with the fit in the waist and chest area. Almost too small to wear. Also, if you are petite you may have issue with the straps falling off your shoulders. I did, and for most of my party I wore this cardigan pictured to keep others none the wiser. Its a total show stopper if you can get the fit just right.

Loved the look and quality of this dress. It even has pockets!! That aside, the dress was tight in the waists and loose on top. I was worried the straps might fall down all night if I wore this to the wedding I was attending.

This dress is stupendously tight across the rib cage, I couldn't zip it up above my bottom rib but ended up jerry rigging it so that I could wear it because I was out of town and the backup option RTR sent was even tighter. The dress is beautifully made and the boning and neckline offer enough support to wear the dress without a bra. The fabric is very thick so I'd advise choosing this dress for cold weather affairs only.

The silk was so comfortable. The construction was impeccable. I wore it to a birthday dinner for my friend. The skirt was full and the bodice was very slimming. I loved the shape the dress gave me. The only con was how small the top was. Usually I'm a size 2 because of my hips and a size 0 in the bust. This size 2 was super tight in the bust. I couldn't even wear a bra. If you have larger bust I would suggest sizing up.

This dress made my waist look super small, but I ended up not wearing it to the wedding I was going to because I was afraid I looked like a bridesmaid. The material is that super shiny satin that is always used for bridesmaid dresses.

I have a really small bust, so if you have a larger bust I would recommend going up one size.
