Loved this dress! I received lots of compliments on the shape and color. Very flattering, the asymmetrical skirt was a fun touch.

I got this dress as a "back up" when the dress that I ordered wasn't available. RTR bent over backwards to take care of me. I live in London and had the dress shipped to a friend in San Francisco where I was for 2 days before heading to Hawaii for the wedding. They sorted this for me, despite my not answering an e-mail (only using wifi, etc.) The dress was incredible! The shape is gorgeous, the fit is so flattering, and the color was different than the norm. Next to the bride, I was the belle of the ball. I read many other comments where people state that this fits small. Keep in mind, this is a couture dress, and fits true to couture sizing (not "American" sizing). Think about what you would be measured at for a wedding dress.

First, this dress runs small. At least a full size small in the torso, but large in the bust. It was tough to zip up the 8, but the best still had room (and I'm full busted). It is a flattering length and neckline, and the red is a gorgeous orange red. I imagine that it would flatter most skin colors. I'm 40, but don't want to dress like a grandma, and this dress was a perfect balance. It is modest but figure flattering and youthful without being too young. I imagine that any age woman could pull this off. Just make sure to order 1-2 sizes up depending on how wide your middle is.

I love how this dress fits and it gives you a beautiful waist. Order a size or two up. I normally wear an 8, but a 12 was right for this dress. I've got one more Praise for RTR. This was my first RTR order and unfortunately the UPS folk could not read my name on the directory, because it was listed 2nd (if you've ever shared an apartment you know exactly what I mean) and so they didn't deliver it in time for my event. Obviously I wasn't happy, UPS had the gall to tell me it was my fault and because the next day was Sunday, the office closed early and I was completely unable to go get the dresses. RTR was so professional and handled the situation as best they could and made sure I wasn't charged for dresses I wasn't able to use. Tianwei was terrific. They made the best out of a bad situation, keeping the customer happy. RTR got bonus points in my book for that.

Great dress for hourglass or pear shapes because it really emphasizes your waist! The color is beautiful and the fabric is luxe - it's also pretty comfortable. I could have worn the 6 or 8, but wanted to go braless and the 6 was more supportive in the top (the straps of the 8 slipped a little). Overall, a great holiday dress for a more formal affair, especially if you do not want to wear a full-length gown. Two notes: 1) I did wonder if the flare of the skirt implied my hips were bigger than they actually are - but I think I was just being paranoid. 2) I rented this after my size became unavailable in the dress I originally ordered, so I a free upgrade, otherwise the price might not have been worth it to me, but it is beautiful!

This dress ran very small for me, but I I'm usually between a 8 and a 10 but the 12 REALLY accentuated my bust by squeezing it up. It's super well made so there was no problem.

Got this dress as a free upgrade when the dress I originally ordered wasn't available. Got tons of compliments! Fit: a little weird - dresses tend to be tight for me around hips/butt before anywhere else, but this dress was tight on top. The 4 (my usual size) would have fit on bottom but couldn't zip it up - even with the 6 I had to get a little help! Once I had it on, it was comfortable. Girls with larger breasts or a wide rib cage might have to size up a couple of sizes. Undergarments: a regular bra would not work - there are no places at the should to hook in straps, and it's a bit too low in the bag. A strapless bra worked - it shows a bit if you bend over; the fabric is quite stiff so when you bend it doesn't bend with you, but better to show a glimpse of a bra than something else! Length: Even as a tall girl with a long torso, it came down to the tops of my knees. Wouldn't recommend for petite ladies The color was a gorgeous lipstick red, the silhouette was amazing, and the fabric looked really luxurious. The ruffle/sash was cute - didn't stand out as much as it looks like in the model's picture, but it was fun for dancing. I accessorized with gold shoes and gold/crystal earrings.

First off it was a tough zip this dress does run small normally I am a 0. It was a two person job to zip up the 2. With that being said I am a DD so we did have to do some squeezing but once it was zipped it was perfectly fitted. I don't think it's worth the money on the rental due to the fact that once you're in the mix of everyone the only thing that stands out is the red. I did receive a ton of compliments on it though and it is a lot of fun. It's definitely a more conservative style dress.

My original rental back up size ended up not being available. When the first dress arrived, the size was too big and wasn't as nice as pictured. I contacted RTR and they were beyond helpful. I was able to pick this dress out for no extra cost, and when it came on the day of my event, it was perfect! I wasn't able to wear a bra with it because the Zipper would have been too snug but it has plenty of support and for an apple or pear shape, the skirt is nice and full. I felt super comfortable and loved the vibrant coraly/red color. Perfect for a formal event or wedding. I usually wear a size 10 but the 12 fit like a glove. 34D chest and size 30 waist.

It is truly a beautiful dress, just didn't work well for me. I have small chest. size 2 was a little bit tight to zip up but was perfect on the chest. Size 4 was easier to zip up but was loose on top. The fabric was thicker than I would have imagined, and the extra fabric on the skirt doesn't look as fabulous in person as on the model. Overall, it was a great dress with beautiful color just not right for me. The RTR service was amazing. I will definitely use RTR again and recommend it to all my friends. :)

I usually wear an 8 but after reading the reviews I ordered up. I believe the 12 would have fit perfectly, but it wasn't available. I wore the size 10 but it was very tight around the upper portion (I don't have a large chest). I'd order up two sizes on this dress, but it's incredibly beautiful. I received multiple compliments. I'd love to rent again.

I loved this dress and so did everyone else. It fit well and was very flattering. It does run small. Most of my body fits into a 6, but my large bust size sometimes requires that I wear an 8. The 10 fit perfectly. Also, it comes quite wrinkled, but it is easy to press out the wrinkles without damaging the fabric. I would definitely rent this dress again!

I couldn't wear this because my size was not available due to damage. The size 10 just didn't cut it for me because i have a wide ribcage, so zipping it up wasn't working for me. IF the 12 would have been available I would have been in heaven!

unfortunately I couldn't wear this beautiful dress - at least one size too small. I have a very narrow bodice so I'm not sure how anyone is expected to zip this up. Shame - the cut and color are gorgeous!

The zero was unavailable so I rented a 2. As shown on the model, the top gapped between the shoulders and chest. I was worried about it when ordering but went for it - and it did gap/gape. The top did not fit well at all. Could be better for someone who is filled out. Also the amount of steaming I had to try to unwrinkle the dress when it arrived was quite time consuming. The color seemed to command much praise, however and I still love the way this looks on the model.

The dress runs small especially in the top area considering I am a 36c. I could have worn the 6 but felt it was too tight. Dress was beautiful just not for my body type.

Needed about 2-4 inches more fabric to pull the zipper together.

The fit was too small in the armholes, bodice. I would have ordered the next size up but it was unavailable. Will try it for another even though. It's stunning!

This was THE dress I had wanted to wear! I was so disappointed when the 10 (I had also gotten an 8) wouldn't zip up past my ribcage. I'm a consistent 8 in real life so this was surprising. The material & color are stunning though! I'll try it again another time but will go to a 12!

I had this as a courtesy back up from a dress that was no longer available. I am usually a 4 and this dress was about 4'' away from zipping up. I dont think one size up would have done it either, I think 2 sizes up would have been needed! It's also not a real bright red, its more in the dark orange tone.

I didn't wear it because it didn't fit. Also didn't really have a wow factor other than the back detail which you kind of wish was on the front.

it was covered in wrinkles and too small..it looks coral/red when i got it it was orange red

I wore this for a red carpet event and was hoping the sash would add a little visual interest/drama. It didn't stick out like in the photo at all and was honestly just kind of boring. The dress is pretty, but it really is just a basic red dress. It's also a very thick fabric, so keep that in mind.
