The dress was perfect -- I tried it on at the store, and while I was a 2 or 4 in other dresses, the 4 was crazy tight. So I ordered a 4 and a 6. When it arrived, the 4 fit perfectly and the 6 was way too loose. I think I lost weight. Definitely size up though, this fits small. The back of the dress dragged a bit on the ground (a train, if you will), the front of the dress was off the ground (you could just see the tips of my shoes, I wore a 3-inch heel). I could easily walk, sit down, and eat. Me: 5'8", 130-135 lbs, 32DD, I have long legs, a short-ish torso, and broad shoulders.

This dress was flawless for a black tie Christmas party. It was elegant and fit perfectly! Admittedly, the zipper was tricky and it was a beast to get on (I had to zip it past the stuck part, then put it on... thought I might be trapped!) but it was well worth the effort! I felt incredible and received lots of nice compliments all night long. One more note -- the train is a bit long -- while I'm 5'6, took the 10R, and had serious high heels on, I still had a few instances where people stepped on the train. Definitely don't go longer if you're on the borderline of regular vs long.

As described this dress runs small. Even smaller than I expected. I can usually wear a 6 or 8 but in this dress might have needed a 10 to get it to zip at the ribs. However, if I had gotten another size up, I would have been swimming in it at the bust. You definitely need some girls or extra padding to fill it out properly.

I ordered 10. Usually 8 or 10. So small couldn't zip it.,so returned. Order 1-2 sizes up. If it fits you won't be sorry. Fabric is heavy and rich. Great drape. Overall very elegant.

Sadly, I never I got to wear this beautiful gown. At the time, this dress was new and there weren't any reviews to tell me how small it runs. I'm always a size 4 but not this time. No chance of zipping it. Even if I knew to size up, I'm not sure the 6 would have been better but certainly the length would have turned into a problem. Too bad.

The gown was a great length, and was incredibly flattering. It just touched the floor without dragging ( a pet peeve of mine on a dress without a train). It was sexy, yet modest and not distracting. For a performer, it was a dream come true.
