I intended to order a size 42 with a 44 backup, but the 44 was unavailable so I did a 40 backup. I'm very glad I did- I had plenty of room in the 40, a surprise with my 5'11" frame. The front was simple but very flattering, probably on every figure. Some other reviews stated that the straps on the back were too long and looked like a cage, but I didn't find this to be the case, though that could be because I have a long torso. I thought that a halter bra might work, but the straps showed a bit in the front so as the RTR details suggest, an adhesive support system is definitely the way to go. I may rent this same dress again for future events! This was my first time using RTR and was pleasantly surprised that the dress came a day earlier than expected and the return was easy.

I had read the other reviews (there were only 3 when I rented this dress, so I was a little nervous) but the dress looked so gorgeous on those girls I choose it for the outdoor wedding I was going to. It fit so beautifully. It's classy and a little sassy in the back. I also like how well it fit all over. I would say it runs pretty true to size, I typically wear a size 0 and the 38 fit perfectly. I wanted to keep this dress so bad.. and would definitely rent it again for another event.

I wore this dress to a wedding in Chicago at the Garfield Conservatory. The space was filled with bright flowers and greenery and I feel like I fit right in. The dress ran a little big, I wore the 38, but it wasn't too tight and I loved the length. No need for a strapless bra as the material is thick and a bra would have shown in the back anyways. I recommend this dress!

I ordered this in a 40 and 42 and the 40 was WAY too big. RTR is amazing and overnighted me the 38, even though their office had closed already for the day by the time I tired it on. This was for my wedding rehearsal dinner so they literally saved the day and my sanity. One other item was missed in my order so they over nighted that as well. The dress was extremely modest yet flattering, but just ran a little big.

I loved this dress! Similar to other comments, the straps on the back are long and might be best on a tall person. I received so many compliments on the color and especially the detail on the back. This dress was great for a spring wedding.

This is an amazing stand-out dress! I wore to a spring wedding and got so many compliments. The fabric is heavy enough that it looks nice without being too heavy for warmer weather. I was able to wear a strapless bra and just safety pin it in the back. The straps in the back were a bit long, but I am 5'4" so it might fit better on a taller girl. Overall, the dress fit true to size (normally I'm a size 6, sometimes a 4 in a dress). I would definitely recommend this dress! Rent the Runway also had incredible customer service on this order. I messed up the delivery date when I ordered, and they overnight shipped the same dress design to my hotel address to accommodate me. I was very impressed with how Rent the Runway went out of their way to fix an issue that was not their fault.

Fit well I usually wear a 6 but i got a 4 due to previous reviews and it was PERFECT. Very comfortable and easy to wear

I wore the 40 which fit pretty well, but the mid section was a little looser than I had liked. When I sat down, it bunched up and was not very form fitting, but other than that, I really liked it! Great color and style for a summer wedding!

I wanted to wear this dress to a tea party but ended up letting a friend wear it. Not for pears or even hour glass figures. You need to be more straight in your build. You have to push a strapless bra down or wear a lower one in order to have support. The color is pretty and my friend looked nice otherwise I would have sent it back and given a lower rating. It also wrinkled very easily which shows on the yellow.

This dress is really cute. Runs true to size and is very figure flattering. The back detail is really pretty and the front is simple but very flattering. The shade of yellow is lovely. Very fun, pretty dress to wear! Only small con is that it wrinkles very easily.

I didn't end up wearing this dress because it was too loose and long (the smaller size was not available as a backup). It is a beautiful soft yellow and I think it would have been very flattering if I had had the right size, and if I were taller. I am 5'3" and the dress hit me below the knees, which is a bit longer than I like. I normally wear a 6 in mainstream stores like Banana Republic or Ann Taylor, and an 8 for the more high-end designers that I rent from on RTR, so I had thought the 44 (8) would fit, but it was too big. If it were shorter I'd definitely try it again in a smaller size. It's very pretty.

I ordered a 38 and 40. I'm a relatively small, athletic girl. This dress fit relatively well, but there were parts of the dress that fit me very awkwardly. The 38 was a little tight around my rib cage, as soon as the dress was zipped, the parts coming down from my neck to under arms were a little too constricting. The strips on the bag were a lot more loose than I expected them to be, so it almost looked like I had a little cage on my back. I went put on the size 40, but had a similar discomfort. The neck was a little loose, it was super tight around my bust, but loose around my waist and hips. Again, because my bust was so tight, the strips on the back billowed off my back when I turned around and it just looked a little awkward. I think it would've fit a little better with someone with smaller breasts so that the dress could fall a little more naturally.

This was one of my favorite rentals! The back made the dress- received lots of compliments!
