I wore this dress to a beauty and hair expo where I served as one of the panelists. It was fashionable enough for the event and still professional enough to be on stage. The dress is made of quality material and is pretty heavy when you pic it up, though comfortable when you put it on. The dress runs large! I wore a size 42, which (according to RTR) translates to a US size 4, but could have easily gone down a size. The dress did say size 8 on it, but that could be UK sizes, which would also translate to a US size 4. I generally wear a US size 4 - 6, but a size 2 would've fit best as the size 4 was still pretty big on me. The length was also way longer on me than on the model, so I it wasn't too short (and I'm mostly leg).

This dress came to me for a wedding weekend with about four other ones since my order got royally screwed up. (Day before the event, one dress was returned unwearable and the other was stuck on a broken down ups truck somewhere in Pennsylvania) Rtr was amazing and overnights a dresses to my hotel in Cali and even included coordinating jewelry. They're customer service is out of this world. I'm typically a size 6 so in this dress I was sent a 42 and 44. I ended up wearing the 42 because I had no other options but it was really big. I could actually grab a whole handful of fabric around my waist, which is typically not the case. I would recommend this dress to anyone but would def size DOWN on the backup. The gold zippers, chain etc made it feel really fun and edgy with minimal jewelry needed.

I rented this as my backup dress and did not end up wearing it. It is a gorgeous dress and both the fabric and zippers used look and feel extremely high quality. I'm tall and was worried the dress would be short but the hemline is actually a bit longer than the model. The 40 (equivalent to a size 2) was very large, and I normally wear a 2 or 4. Judging from the extra fabric, I easily could have worn the 38 and would still have been comfortable. Also, the dress did not come with the chain on the neckline, which was a bit disappointing.
