I loved this dress, I wish i could keep it. Only bad part about it was the huge hole on my bum that I didn't notice until the wedding. And the inseam of the dress on the bottom also fell apart during the wedding. I contacted RTR and they refunded my money. BUT besides that little mishap this dress is beautiful! I wore a black lace bra under it and in person you couldn't tell. It's very comfortable, I'd like to buy this dress!

And so very comfortable. This did not ride up and it was the perfect length. It is a combination of classy and sexy. And don't worry about the "side boob" showing....the dress design makes it tasteful. :)

The fit was true to size. Decided to go with a longer dress for the wedding, but this dress would have been a great option for any event. It was beautiful and the lace detailing on the sides were gorgeous!

I've rented many dresses, but this may very well be my favorite. My husband agreed. Fit like a glove, nice thick material and was very flattering. I did have to wear a nude colored bra because of a larger bust area. You can sort of see in this photo, but you really couldn't see in person. This is one dress I did not want to give back. I ordered the 38 and 40, and ended up wearing the 38. The 40 would have been perfect for a wedding, but I wanted it more fitted for a night out in Vegas. The dress is on the longer side, so it might be too long if you're shorter. I actually thought the length was perfect, it balanced out the fact that it was very fitted. The first 38 that was sent had a little hole in the lace on the right side. I called RTR and they overnighted another 38 to my hotel in Vegas, as I was flying out that night. Their customer service is excellent.

Fits true to size. There isn't material under lace at the sides. It wasn't a problem for me because I'm not very "busty" but it would have fit VERY differently if I were!

There is no backing behind the lace, but with a nude bra you could hardly tell. The dress was very elegant and length was perfect for a wedding.

I got size 38 and 40.... Both fit good but I went with the 38 because the 40 was to long. I loved the dress!... I am 5'4" and weigh 120.

I usually wear a 0 or 2 and the 38 fit perfect. I wound up rolling the bottom about an inch up and using the sticky tape they gave me to make it stay, but that was just my preference. Also I would have given the dress a 5 because I LOVED it, but when I asked a RTR associate via the online chat, she said there was fabric under the lace on the sides, and there was not. I wore a nude bra and you couldn't see it unless you were right up against me and looking for it, but it was a little disappointing. I would totally rent it again.

Runs true to size-large. It was really comfortable and I was able to dance all night in it. It was longer than I expected, so I rolled it shorter. The length is from middle of the knee to below the knee. There is no nude lining under the lace, which was disappointing.

I loved the cutouts/pattern! It fit great, hugged all the right places, and the husband loved it for our date night!! I felt so sexy in it!! I tried it on with and without a nude bra and I couldn't tell a difference in pictures so I decided to opt out of the bra and that worked out great :) Also, I don't know if it was just the dress I received or if it's all of them, but the tag was in the front of the dress, so you could see it through the cutouts- which was annoying- so I just kinda folded the tag and taped it up together so it wasn't as noticeable. It obviously wasn't so annoying to keep me from wearing it though. Overall, I would highly recommend this dress!!

This dress was a little out of my comfort zone because the lace is open and does cute in quite far but I figured why not try something new. I tried the size 4 and 6 (38 and 40) I ended up wearing the size 40 because it was just a bit looser and made me personally more comfortable. I got a lot of compliments and felt great! I wore petals from Victoria secret so I didn't have to wear a bra. I I have a small chest anyway so it was not a big deal. The length was fine as well (im 5'2). Would rent again!!

As everyone noted before me, the sides are not backed with anything, so I was glad I had a neutral cami to wear underneath, as I was standing up in my sister's wedding. I did tape up the bottom with the tape included in the rental as it seemed just a little long for me, but it looked lovely either way. I rented a 40 and 42 and did go with the smaller size because the dress has a good amount of stretch and just felt better with a more snug fit. I loved this dress. It felt and looked amazing all night long and my boyfriend hated that I had to send it back.

I am normally an 8, but reviews said the dress ran big so I also got a 6. I wore the 6 comfortably. The material is tight but stretchy tight. The lace was very pretty on, I wore a black bra underneath and it looked great.

Definitely can't wear a bra with this one. It was also much longer than I wanted. I actually have it taped up to the length it is in this picture.

This dress I was looking the most forward to. I was wearing it to a daytime wedding. I received a 40 and 42 and the 42 was very baggy. The 40 fit like a glove from the front, but the back had a big pouch and was loose. I have a bubble butt and the section of dress from my upper back to my butt was all loose and not fitting against my whole back. The length was appropriate for the wedding and I was so happy to be able to wear a normal nude bra with it. I did get a ton of compliments all day, but kept pulling the dress down to try to keep the back pooch at a minimum.

Dress is really comfortable and got tons of compliments. I went braless. The lace isn't as black as the dress but it looked great on.

The dress fit true to size. I was not comfortable with all of the lace being see through. So I wore a black top underneath the dress.

I wore the larger size because the smaller size dress was damaged - but the smaller size was a better fit. The dress is the perfect balance between sexy and conservative - the lace on the sides and top make it somewhat revealing, plus the fact that you can't wear a bra - but add the longer length this dress becomes perfect. It's also super comfortable - which can sometimes be hard to pull off with lace.

I love this dress! I did not wear it because it was not dressy enough for the event I wanted it for but it is truly stunning. If you are going on a date, or a night out with friends, this is perfect. Sexy but conservative. Perfect mix. And if you wear a nude bra, the sheer parts look fine. I wish I had a chance to wear this dress! I will rent again if the time comes that I need it.

I rented this dress for a wedding. It is a great dress, though I did choose to go braless. I had planned to use a sticky bra, but even that showed on the sides and I wish I had thought to bring nipple covers. I tried a couple of different bras (both black and nude), and I did not care for the sides showing through the lace--I thought it was pretty obvious and detracted from the dress, but YMMV. It doesn't photograph well unless you are standing head on, I found. I tried a typical slightly sideways shot with my husband, and it looked so strange--like I was wearing a smock or something. Take your pics standing straight ahead. ;)

I wore it with a beige bra, and you could not see it through the dress, unless you were looking up close. The dress was really comfortable. 38 fit like a glove, but I wore the 40 because it was just a tiny bit more comfortable, and i wanted to dance.

True to size. I don't have a huge bust so I was able to pull off not wearing a bra. Definite side boob action but super sexy and sophisticated!

I rented this dress in a 44 and it was too large for me. I think had I rented the 42 it would have been perfect---be prepared to show off a little side boob though if you rent this dress.

I love this dress! I felt classy and super sexy, and received compliments all night. It hugs in all the right places, is very comfortable, and the fabric is super luxe. If you are smaller chested the top can run a bit big. Prepare to show some side boob. Cons: can’t wear spanx or a bra (pack pasties)

I fell in love with this dress on the site. I ordered a 40 & 42, I'm usually a 4-6, depending on the designer. Wow, were they both tight!!! I was so uncomfortable, that I knew I wasn't going to be able to wear it to the wedding. I had to call, and thankfully, the RTR customer service is amazing. They overnighted me a new dress. This one fits like a dream, and I know I won't be self-conscience the whole night in it. My suggestion, be very comfortable in your own skin, if you get this dress, because it shows EVERYTHING.

This dress was nice, but not amazing. It's a basic black dress that fit nicely, with a lace insert in the back that makes it a little more interesting. However, the lace back either requires you to go without a bra entirely (not an option for me) or have your bra show all night. I rented another dress from RTR at the same time and went with the other option.

This was my back up option and I ended up wearing it since my first option was too tight in the chest. The fit of this dress is very flattering and comfortable. I just didnt think it was anything exciting. And it didnt look or feel "expensive" to me. The lace detail is actually like a sunflower print, which I thought looked a bit cheap. Because of the other reviews, I bought a DARK tan bra to wear underneath, and you could not see it at all (I spray tan). I think a nude bra would have been more obvious, as the other reviewers noted. Overall, I would not rent again. When I rent, I want to feel like I am wearing something I can not afford to buy, or something so unique that I wouldnt want to wear twice. This was neither.

I did not end up wearing this dress. But would order it for another event. It was super comfortable and very sexy. Go for it and don't wear the nude bra. This dress is all about the lace cut outs

I ordered the 38 and it was too large in the midsection and a bit too long. I am 5'3" and 107 pounds and usually fit into a 0 very well. Otherwise, it was a beautiful dress!

I could not wear the dress. I thought that the lace panels had an under layer-- they do not. Too much skin showing for me. Also, I thought the material was awful, especially for the price of the rental. I maybe would wear this for a girls night in Vegas; not the fundraiser party for which I intended. Not at all classy.

It was way too big up top and i am a C and too long and i am 5'9. Looked more like a dress to wear to a funeral. Luckily RTR customer service sent me a replacement the very next day to save my bday dress dillemma.
