Definitely stood out

Rented this for my birthday. It was very flattering but the sequins rubbed a little on my inner arms. I would rent it again though

I loved the sequin details! Super Glam!

I felt that the slit was a bit high and I needed to pin the chest area but , overall it was a fantastic Vegas wedding guest dress!

The fit was great and it was nice standing out in a sea of typical homecoming dresses!

I wore this dress to my senior year homecoming and it was beautiful! It showed off all the right areas and made me feel mature yet my age. The slit was incredibly high though, and I had to pin it closed so it wouldn't reveal too much. It fit incredibly well and hugged my curves and the back was gorgeous. I'm glad I could end my homecoming legacy in a killer dress like this!

So glam and classy!

Fit is a little small to true to size. Fabric tape is a MUST or this dress may be unwearable. I used it all over the bust and to keep the wrap part together over my legs. I did not wear this dress to the church for the wedding, I felt it would have been too flashy/revealing for a traditional mass wedding. But it was perfect for the reception! The detail on the back didn't lay flat on my back, but that was ok. I loved this dress overall!!

Loved the back, not a fan of the front

I absolutely loved this dress and got SO many compliments on it from my sorority sister! The only thing I didn't really like was the fact that I had to safety pin the slit closed. It didn't matter how tight I pulled the dress or how many friends I had trying to pull it tighter, the bow always ended up loosening a little, making the slit rise further up the dress.

Simple yet glamorous dress!

This was my first Rent the Runway dress and I could not have been happier. The dress arrived exactly in time for my friend's wedding. I loved the dress from the moment I tried it on, however, it was very loose in the cleavage area, especially when sitting. I should have gotten a second dress in a smaller size, but I was afraid the golden straps would be too tight since I have a larger bust size. Regardless, I still received many compliments and the dress was extremely flattering. Even though the dress was loose on top, I was able to dance the night away without any wardrobe malfunctions ;)

Vegas + Wedding + Bridesmaid = This dress to a "T"

My amazing sister-in-law asked 9 of us to be her bridesmaids in her Vegas wedding to my brother and she told us to wear a black or gold dress of our choice. Could this dress have been anymore perfect? They had their ceremony at the Neon Museum in Vegas and this dress suit the atmosphere perfectly. I had 1000 compliments and felt like a high-roller! The slit is high and the back low but wardrobe tape fixed those issues easily. Very forgiving dress and the back is a knockout!

Stand Out LBD for a bachelorette party

This dress does have a weird fit. It's a wrap dress and it makes it a little tricky getting everything to stay perfectly but, with fashion tape and a pin or two it was just fine. Every girl had to wear a black dress while the bride wore white... The gold peace sign on the back and slit was a nice stand out in the sea of black club dresses.

I had numerous compliments on the dress and the bust/back were beautiful!

The slit was difficult to manage. I ended up having to safety pin the bottom so that I didn't show the world my goods when I sat down. This is a common issue with wrap dresses so make sure you sit down when trying it on before you head out for the night.

Very beautiful garment. Very nice material.

The shape is a bit odd. The v neck was a tad too deep for my chest. The slit also a little too high. It's a very sexy dress if thats's the look you're going for.

Hottest, classiest dress

This wrap dress is so spectacular. The back is really special, and because it's a real tie I could cinch the waist as tight as I wanted it and it still had plenty of room in the hips and bust. Absolutely a showstopper, would rent again any time.

I wore it to a fraternity semi-formal! I got so many compliments!

I usually wear a 4 or 6 but ordered an 8 because it looked small, but it was huge! They were out of 6's so I wore a 4 and it fit perfectly. Go with your gut about your dress size and definitely get two just in case your normal size is too big! I wore it with a bra but was adjusting it all night so I sneaked my bra into my purse. I suggest no bra for those of you who are comfortable with it. Shoulder straps run long too, and get longer with increasing size, so consider that if you have a petite frame!

Tricky fit but a unique take on the LBD

This is a true wrap dress so you will need fashion tape and some pins in order to not flash everyone. You can wear a convertible halter style bra with this (I opted for a more natural look). This dress is cut in such a way that it would not be flattering on a small chested person. I'm a 32 D and my boobs kind of disappeared in it. Because our event was a fundraiser I was ok with this and appreciated the fun slit in the skirt. It was a fun dress all night.

Stunning!

You need some preparations for this dress, but once you get it, you will look stunning, stylish, and sexy (in the right way :)) I didn't know how to fix the dress at the beginning, but a pin on the bust area, 2 pins to attach the peace sign to the bra, so that it would be tight and bra that closes on the bottom and the strap going around the neck made the deal. My hips are average, so i didn't need a pin on the bottom (with fuller hips the dress will open up all the time). Im 5.6 tall and the dress was above the knee but not too short and the dress opened up a bit when i walked, so I wore open toe pantyhose natural tan color and did a spray tan on the upper part of the body a day before! I looked like never before! Strongly recommend!

I actually wore it on stage and it flowed easily and the back was just wow!

I loved the back, it was a very comfortable dress. Unfortunately, I have small boobs and even with cutlets in, they still looked small. Had to tape the front of the dress on me a lot and wore shorts underneath because of that super sexy slit in the front.

stands out in a sea of lbds!

Really pretty with the gold accent, comfortable. Only con is the leg slit, a little bit difficult to sit in. If you have fashion tape I feel that it would help greatly!

Sexy, sophisticated and oh so Italian

I wore this dress for my friends bachelorette party in Vegas. It's super sexy - plunging neckline, high slit in the leg. The fabric is beautiful and the gold sequin peace sign detail on the back made it really stand out as a little black dress.

Crazy Flirty

The fit is definitely true to size, but the cut is on the risque side. Tape is a must for this in the breast area! It's a fun and sassy little number and I got a lot of compliments on it.

Nice dress, with some flaws

Everyone loved the dress!! I however did not love constantly having to check if I was having a wardrobe malfunction. Because it is a wrap dress it didn't fit my body shape nicely. I felt like the 40 was big on top but the 38 was too small on the bottom. So I went with the 40 and ended up pinning the slit, which worked out extremely well. However the top was a little loose, and because of the fabric tape didn't work very well. I tried pinning the top but couldn't get it to look right. Overall the dress looked amazing but I wouldn't wear it again since I was uncomfortable all night.

Beautiful dress but didn't fit quite right

The gold straps didn't contour my body correctly and were too long, leaving way too much cleavage. Someone had sewn the skirt together to avoid all the flashing people complain about. That was nice, but only works if you happen to be that exact same size. Otherwise, there is a strange gap/sag in the skirt. The material was lovely, but too thin without a bra, so you'd need a stick-on one.

Couldn't wear it

Back looked amazing, the dress just fit so weird and the slit was dancing with a dangerous area. Unfortunate because it looked so beautiful from behind - but thank god I rented a back up dress

Loved the idea of this dress, it just didn't work out

I loved this dress so much i rented it in 4 sizes after trying on the equivalent of an 8 in the showroom and that was huge. I think you have to be slightly broad shouldered for this dress to really work, because no matter what size, the top straps were too long for my frame. I almost wore the 4, but rented a different dress that fit slightly less...awkwardly, so I went with that instead.

Cool design, Risqué Fit

I loved the peace sign detail on the back of this dress - that's what drew me to it. Every detail of the dress is very high quality, but unfortunately the fit was a little to risqué for the event I was attending. In both sizes I tried (38 and 40), the top half fit me very well. It was the bottom half that was the deal breaker. It is a wrap dress, so it is very forgiving in terms of fit, but the closure in front ends up acting like a waist-high slit, especially if you go to sit down. I didn't wear it, and forgot to take a picture when I was trying it on. Such a bummer, because in theory the dress is very cool! Maybe if I was single, in my early 20s again and in Vegas, I could have made it work with a little fashion tape?!

Stunning dress, but not practical for dancing!

I didn't even get to wear this gorgeous dress out on the town. I rented it to wear in Vegas, thinking the black with the sexy gold straps was ideal for the occasion. As great as it looked while I was standing perfectly still, it wasn't a practical dress for me—so I realized too late to exchange it (when already in Vegas). At first try-on, I even mistakenly thought it would work great. The wrap caused too much gaping up top in the chest area—and, yes, I tried every variation of fashion tape and different pasties/backless bras. Then this dress requires a slip, because if you take normal-size steps while walking or dance in any way, you're not just flashing your thighs, you're giving a full-frontal view! (And, yes, I wrapped it properly, slipping the belt around and through the slits. And I cinched it as tight as possible.) So in sum, I recommend ordering a smaller second size and being prepared with fashion tape and a very tiny black slip. This dress has potential. I am sad I didn't get to enjoy it.

The back was gorgeous

It fit me, but personally there was way too much fabric. I didn't like the way you put it on (like a vest and tied with the bow). The slit was up to my hip, so if I danced, everything was exposed. I did not end up wearing this to my event, hours before the event, I decided not to wear it. This is not a dress for small chested girls :( I did not fit the breast part at all, as an A cup.

The material and construction are beautiful however the fit is strange.

I fit into the top of the 38 and the 40 just fine but the bottom slit on the 38 was way too revealing for my taste and since it is a wrap would become obscene while walking up/down stairs. I wore the 40 for more coverage even though the bottom was large and felt puffy around the hips. I am muscular with curves and I think you need to be a stick like the model in order for it to lay right.

This dress did not work at all for me...

I rented this dress for my birthday weekend in Miami. The dress ran a little small and the material was not at all what I was expecting. It's strange, but it was almost felt cheap. Also, it made my shoulders look very broad. Clearly, I didn't not wear this dress and I went another route. As always, RTR, was great though! On time delivery, professional packaging, etc.

Awkward fit, gaps everywhere

I normally love everything I rent from RTR, but this dress was a complete challenge. I ended up not able to even wear it! The slit is inappropriately high - I mean, half of your undergarments are out there "inappropriately high". The top doesn't stay wrapped no matter how many safety pins or fashion tape you use. It's a shame because the dress has potential. It didn't run too small or too big, it was just all over awkward-fitting and a complete pain. Disappointed, but still love RTR.

The dress is a wrap, I did not know that, it fits funny, did not look appealing on me.

Pros: back was cute, Cons: fit big, the straps were loose looking and the wrap around did not tie in a pretty bow like it does in the picture.
