I was a little nervous because the reviews on this weren't great. I actually really liked this dress. Definately go a size down. I normally wear a 4 but the 2 was a better fit. I liked this dress because it is very well made, classy and was really comfortable. The skirt is very full but the fabric lays nicely. I would recommend this if you want a no nonsense black dress that is made well and easy to wear.

Possibly the best fit I've ever had with RTR! This dress was gorgeous and Ioved the drape and weight of the fabric. It created stunning lines and I felt so lovely in it. I wore it with a strapless bra and no shaper; it fit like a dream along my curves and hit in great spots on my short frame. Absolutely highly recommend!

The material is heavy but in a good way (felt very well made). Love Love Love. Would wear it again.

Does fit a bit small in the chest area. I do have a larger bust and didn't think it was too small though. I would just size up for a back up!

This dress was fairly comfortable and great to dance in (I'd been dancing for a couple of hours in the photo shown). I did find it ran a bit large and wore the size 4. The only other fit issue I had were the straps were just a tad long for me (something I often experience) so when I was sitting they would bunch up a little and show my bra strap. The fabric is thick and sturdy which was unfortunately torture in the 94 degree weather we unexpectedly experience. I cannot blame the dress for this though. It hid my problem areas well and would be nice on any other pear-shaped lady.

This dress runs pretty large. I received it in 42 (4) as a replacement for another dress I had originally ordered, and it was way too big around my waist. It was also a bit long and loose on top. The skirt is very pretty though and it has a nice shape.

This came as part of my Rent the Runway At Home Trial. I wasn't a huge fan of the dress. It seemed to run pretty big for me and wasn't anything special for me. Maybe it would have been better in a smaller size. I also thought it needed a belt or something to break up all the black.

I got this dress because a different dress I had wanted was damaged last minute so they sent me this one too and I was so happy! I wore this to my sisters engagement party! I'm usually a size 4 and I think they sent me a 2 and there was definitely room if I had wanted to go smaller. That being said it still fit beautifully. It was pretty while still remaining on the conservative side. Material was nice and thick, perfect for a February party! I wish I didn't have to send it back! Will definitely rent this one again!!

I usually wear size 6, but it was not available. I rented size 4 and it was a perfect fit. I love this dress and I received many compliments throughout the night. This dress was also perfect for dancing. I wore the dress with a pair of heels by Vince Camuto. I'm going to rent this dress again for my anniversary!! I just have to!

Absolutely loved this dress! Definitely ran large; I probably could have gone down another size. Also, I think this dress is a little pricey for what it is (I used the summer pass to rent this, so I didn't pay full price). Very comfortable. I actually wore running shorts under it (which work out nicely on a 102 degree night) because when you spin, the entire dress flies up.

Pretty LBD. Runs large, was surprised to fit into a 46 but it zipped up easily. Great for any event where you want to look classy and elegant.

I found this dress to be uber flattering and very forgiving, fit-wise but it wasn't anything special so I didn't end up wearing it. Great if you're looking for an LBD that is super flattering. I would definitely size down.

I ordered this one as a backup for a rehearsal dinner. I ordered Euro? size 48 but it was way to big. Next time I will try 2-3 sizes down. I'm a US 12-14. But the quality and everything else about the dress was awesome and I definitely would have worn if it would have fit better.

Beautifully made. The dress ran a bit large and flared a bit in back at the top. However, it was very flattering overall and twirly!

Not much to say besides that the dress was way too big for me. I was not able to wear it to my event; it looked like a sack on me. It's a cute dress, and I could tell it would be flattering in the right size. I would recommend ordering a size down.

This dress was my replacement, it was a waste of $13. It was WAY too big, definitely go down a size or even two. It would have been adorable if it were the right size.

I didnt realize how much fabric was on this dress, there are seams on the bottom adding more volume to it. The dress is very heavy, ran big, and wasnt my style so I didnt end up wearing it. I would order a size down as a backup.

I did not wear this dress, as the top was too small for me. It fit in the waist and runs true to size, but I am a 36DD and needed the a 42 to make it work. Zipper is hard to work, as it is on the side.

The dress was large, especially the straps. If you are a bustier woman, this dress would be a great fit, it was very stretchy and allows for room. I ordered two sizes smaller and it was still too large for me.

I received this dress as a last-minute overnight backup dress. It fit true to size (I'm a 6) and I would have worn it if the other dress didn't work. However, this dress made me feel a bit older than I was, and I wanted to look cute! This would be good for a conservative work affair.
