The color of this gown is a bit more orange than it shows on my monitor, it matches Veuve yellow as you can see from the photo! The social press took a ton of photos of me - the color made me stand out. I rented the 8R for a more comfortable fit, the dress was loose on me but I expected that. It was also a bit short, I was wearing 2 1/2" heels. I normally rent regular as I don't want to be tripping over the hem.

i rented this dress for a mardi gras ball, and i wanted something that no one else would be wearing. boy did i choose the right dress! i spent hours pouring over RTR before making my decision and after it was all said and done with, i ended up seeing all of my other front-runners worn by someone else at the ball! what makes this dress stand apart is the color. it's a gorgeous golden yellow and NO ONE was wearing a color anything like this. as for the fit, it ran a bit long on me and you will most probably need SPANX to smooth things out. the no-shoulder side was a bit large under my arm and had to be safety pinned. i also had to tape the seam at the top down, as it was not sewn. all in all, this is a great dress. it was very comfortable and the color is a standout! i HIGHLY recommend it!

Loved this dress. Wore it for a Sept 7th black tie only wedding. The color was perfection.. best for fall and winter I'd say as it was more of a gold. I wore gold shoes and nude bag. The dress wasn't very forgiving, as in I needed spanx to smooth out my butt and a sturdy strapless bra. I also sucked in my stomach ALL NIGHT - that being said I was super happy. Dress was perfect length with my 3 1/2 inch heels and I am 5'4. I usually wear a 4 or even a 2 in dresses and the 4 fit me perfectly (I weigh 128 lb). very happy with the RTR experience in general as it was my first time!

This was a replacement dress for another dress that I had rented. The dress became unavailable a few days before my rental and RTR sent another option. They did a great job of trying to replace my original order but I choose my 2nd choice dress instead. (The second choice is also reviewed and worked out really well for my formal occasion.) This dress really fit well. It is form fitting with a sexy slit up the side. The color is more orange/yellow. (not the color I wanted for the formal affair)The one shoulder top was very comfortable and fit snugly. I may rent this for a future event but thanks RTR for trying to buffer my disappointment for not receiving my first choice dress. They also refunded the difference between the orders with no problem.

Fit was perfect for me; able to wear a strapless with this one. The length of the dress was perfect in 4 in heels. The COLOR is so rich/warm looking. Gold tone jewelry went really well with it. Loved the slit, gave it sex appeal, definitely the only stand out canary yellow color there.

I knew for my Bestie's wedding i had to look amazing since i turned down the party of maid of honor! I set up an appointment with the RTR showroom and tried on this as my first choice. By the grace of God it fit which was very shocking, since i am very hippy and busty! I wore Spandex to smooth it all out and pull it all together. i felt amazing and looked even more amazing! I am 5'4" and the dress was just to the floor with my 3.5" heels. The fit was great except for one little thing - it was maybe 1/4" too big on the bust on the side with the bare shoulder. That side was a bit lower as a result. I secured it with some fashion tape and it wasn't an issue. Overall the dress made a great impact at my law school graduation gala. I loved it.

I really loved this dress. the only issue I had was with the seam at the top. I kept having to adjust it when it would unfold.

wore this to a formal gala and loved everything about the dress. very flattering and i received compliments all night. wore the 38R and it fit PERFECTLY. highly recommend this dress!

This dress received so many compliments, All the women wanted to know where I purchased it from. Told them all about Renttherunway.com get ready for a lot of Florida customers. I loved the whole experience from you guys, what great service everything came on time looked great. I did not wear the necklace that I rented, felt it was too heavy for a day time wedding, other than that, everything was beautiful. I ended up wearing the size 10, the 8 was too tight, 10 was perfect. Everyone thouhgt I lost weight.

The dress got so many compliments. The slit was a little high on the leg to be worn in the church for a wedding, but was well suited for the reception. The bust area was a little larger, so I had to pull the strapless side over a few times, but other than that it fir great. Actually more of a dark goldenrod color than a bright yellow.

The fit was snug, but it was also very flattering. I wore spanks and it made a world of difference. The slit gave it a little extra something while still being appropriate for a work function. I am very petite and the length was actually perfect. All around a really great dress.

This was one of two dresses I rented to wear for a charity auction. I needed it to show off a large diamond brooch while I was on stage and walking amongst the crowd. Although I LOVED the dress and found it incredibly figure-flattering, the material is too thin under that kind of scrutiny. You can see the outline of undergarments, muscle tone and navel! When lights are behind you, you can see a hazy outline of your legs and upper thighs. I'd absolutely wear it, but just didn't feel comfortable in this situation. I wore a slightly more conservative dress to the auction. So here are my morning-after photos!

This was my back-up style. I ordered the 42 but got a 44. The 44 was a nice fit on my 38.5" hips, but WAY too big on my 34A bust. I am wearing a padded bra in these pictures and it was still too big. If I had worn this dress, it would have required a lot of padding and taping. The material is stretchy so the 42 would have fit my hips too. One drawback, if you wear Spanx, you are in danger of the leg slit revealing your undergarment. I can not go without Spanx so this was an automatic reject for me. Also the seam on the slit wasn't well pressed so it sort of looked like it gaped open a bit. This would be a stunning dress on a long torso with full bust. And the slit up the leg is super sexy!

The deep yellow was perfect for a fundraising gala that encouraged color. Both sizes fit but I went with the larger size only because there was an issue with the zipper on my regular size. I received so many compliments and it was very flattering to my figure.

I rented for Photoshoot. I thought this was a size 12 based off another review but realized she was shorter and full figured and that's why she got the 14. I'm 6 ft tall and the tall wasn't available so this was loose enough on my hips which made it fall to an appropriate length. It was a knockout and does wrinkle easy. The top was loose so I had to tuck part of the top with my strapless bra other than that it's a must rent for any class yellow dress.

I had this dress sent to me after the one I originally ordered didn't fit. I LOVED it! If yellow is a good color on you, don't hesitate to rent this number. It was a total showstopper at a black tie wedding I attended. The one shoulder and slit give it total sex appeal while keeping it classy. The dress was super comfortable, too. It hugged and cinched in all the right places.

Wore this to a holiday party. It was surprisingly baggy and the fabric looked lumpy in person. The draping and cut are fun, though, and the color is great if your skin tone takes yellows. Wear this with a strapless bra for the off-the-shoulder part.

Beautiful color. Feel that it compliments tan/darker skin beautifully as well as curvy body types. Only con is that it's somewhat thin material therefore spanx were worn with it.

This is my first time wearing this designer. I usually stick to the accessories. However, this dress runs large. I am a 34 DD and I usually wear a size 10. I should have gotten a size 8. The bust and hips area were way too big. I had to pin the top and added the jacket to hide the bunch of fabric. Regardless, the color is such a beautiful dandelion yellow and the split works perfectly. Pair it with a gold clutch and a pair of gold earrings. Silver will clash with this color.

The color is not Ferrari yellow - canary is a more apt description - but, oh boy, is it a Ferrari of a dress! Clean lines and restrained ruching really let the color talk to the room. The slit is sexy, not trashy. The fit was spot on until the bust; the one-shoulder didn't lay flat across my chest. Broader shoulders might better suit this dress; still, a minor issue that did not distract from the overall effect! And at 5'4", I only needed a 2.5" heel to keep the hem flirting with the floor. This dress would look great on a number of different figures. Rent it!

I rented this dress for a cruise formal night. The dress was pretty but I wasn't very comfortable with my body in it. I needed a larger size to accommodate my weight but I couldn't fill out the top. The reason I gave the dress three stars was because the quality of the dress didn't seem to completely match the pricing. It wasn't my favorite but this was my first time using RtR. It was so simple and easy. Lifetime user.

This dress is a unique orangey yellow that is simply stunning. Would not recommend for a small bust, but this was fantastic for my 32G chest. I'm 5'5" and wore 3" heels - the length of the regular was perfect. The zipper on the dress seemed to have been pulled previously, but I wore it anyway and it held all night.

RTR accidentally sent me a size 8 instead of a size 4, but I was obsessed with the necklace I rented (Mayan multi chain necklace) and was determined to make it work so I used safety pins to tailor it at the last minute. Once I got it to fit properly, it was absolutely stunning. I've never received so many compliments on a dress from complete strangers and was repeatedly told how pretty the color was (which is more gold than yellow in person). The regular length was perfect for me with 3' heels and the rouching in the front was very forgiving. This dress is amazing and I will be renting it again in the future.

This dress was better then I expected because of the fabric. The stretch in the crepe made it really easy to wear but the texture to the fabric meant it didn't look like a cheap yellow jersey dress, which i was a little worried about. Length is great with a fun shoe, top is a little big if you're on the smaller side but certainly no danger of anything peeping out! The color is totally wearable, don't be afraid! festive and sexy.

I think I wore the 2L in this...it was tight! I have a big Kim K butt and it was very fitted.. But it cinched in all the right places. The color is awesome.

I rented this gown for a charity gala. Being so tall, I was concerned about the length of this dress but found with 2 inch heels, it was perfect! The fit of this dress is snug but comfortable. I had a hard time with gaping on the non-strap shoulder and felt a little exposed. also, this dress fabric is nit thick and I had to find just the right undergarments to make it work. Overall, a comfortable stunner in a vibrant rich golden yellow!

HUGE in the bust. I am a 32C, and I had to pad a bra and tape the top so that it didn't gape. I also thought it was a bit long. I was wearing 4" heels, and I still kept catching my heels in the hem. Despite the above, it is very flattering. I received a lot of complements, after a bit of extra work to make it fit.

The only CON of this dress is that it's not lined and the fabric is not forgiving at all. You will see every lump and bump through it.

I rented the 44L and 42R and, though the 44L fit me perfectly, part of the hem on the had come out and was in no condition to wear. RTR Customer Service was incredibly helpful and credited my account in full as a result. Another thing to note is the dress is much more gold than a yellow.

This dress was perfect for a black tie summer wedding. I got many compliments on the beautiful color. The length was perfect with 4 inch heels and it was very comfortable. Great dress and I would rent it again.

This gorgeous yellow looked awesome with a new tan during our cruise to the Caribbean! It is VERY long, I literally pinned up maybe 6 inches (I'm 5'2") - wish there was a short length! The rest of the dress fit well except the hilarious amount of extra fabric in the chest. I used a bunch of line and hid them as best I could but kept my arms by my sides as much as possible to hide any bunching because it was quite a bit of fabric to pin in. I still felt pretty and got many compliments. Lovely piece - strange fit.

I rented the 38L as a replacement dress (my original dress wasn't available last minute), and I really should have rented a 40L, but it wasn't available. I was barely able to pull the zipper up, and it was too tight - the zipper line formed that weird "S" shape that occurs when the outfit is too small. It appears a lot of other girls had this issue since the stitching around the zipper looked a little ratty/ torn from stretching. I'm 5'8, 120-123 lbs, and am toned but have hips - barely got the dress over them!
