This is an amazing versatile dress but size down. I'm normally a 2 and this was big on me (too big). Great to dress up or down. Perfect for my Jamaica romantic vacation.

I rented this to wear to an 80's cover band concert and it was PERFECT! I received tons of compliments. It stayed in place through hours of dancing. My only complaint (and this is minor) is that the bow is so large that it presses into your back in the car. Totally worth the minor discomfort!

Although this dress was very cute and flattering on, I did not end up wearing it. It's was very snug! I usually wear 0 to 2 in dresses, the 38 was very tight but wearable. No bra needed with this one. Has boning and think fabric to keep you in and the bow in back also allows for tightening (very large bow-will need ironing!). May be revealing if you have a fuller bust. My major complaint with this one is the color of the fabric. It looked very worn out, as if it had been put through the wash several times. I included a picture of the dress next to a black shaw and you can really see the difference. I'm sure it would have been a cute party dress, but it just didn't work for me. Would be great for a night out on the town

Fit is large for a "4" but I believe an Italian size 42 is a 6. I'm 5' 7.5", 34D, normally wear a 6 and the 42 fit fine, slightly large. It's meant for longer torsos and I had a problem with the corset top bunching up at the waste so I just bunched the whole dress and it looked fine. I love the dress, super fun and cute so great to rent for one night. I highly recommend trying on or getting two sizes to see how you like it, definitely better for taller girls. Best with a stick on bra and its a nice length, you have to tie the bow very tight (and someone else will need to do this for you) it still falls a little but what strapless dress doesn't do that a little. I didn't find it annoying because I loved the dress.

I was sooo excited to get this dress, and it is just as pretty and fun in person as on the model. Unfortunately, I have a ridiculously short torso (I'm only 5'3 and on top of that I'm aaallll leg). To wear this I would have needed an inch or two taken out of the middle of the dress. I tried folding it over around the waist, but with the pattern and the open back it just didn't work. But if you have a normal or long torso, this would be the best dress ever!!! (Although, you definitely need someone available to help you tie the bow in the back after you've put the dress on.)

I loved the print of this dress but it just didnt work for me! Was a bit too big in the bust, but overall fit true to size and would have been fun for the right situation.
