Sized down for a better fit. The pic is me in the M. I usually wear M/L but sent the M back for a small. I am very short so the very bottom hit the floor even with heels. Love the cuts that make this dress unique. Monse is one of my favorite designers. I have worn this to a dive bar, to a party, to the theatre, to a concert and many other places. It works for all occasion. Wish I could afford to make it mine. 4’11, 160lb, regular size 10, wore a small.

Quality of Monse is a given. This dress was fantastic for date night. Grateful another review pointed out this is a sweater-- was heavy and warm and excellent for cooler weather. Paired with opaque Wolfords to make it ok for work dinner. Paired with ponyhair Paris Texas.

I rented this to wear to a funeral (with a blazer and tights), but it came too late. I ended up wearing it with boots to lunch and a party. Was surprised how much I loved it! It's so stylish and sexy. (And the black matte knit makes it very forgiving.) I'm 5'1 and had to pin the very tip of the train up so it wouldn't drag the ground (wearing heels). Would seriously LOVE to own this, but not at that price! Quality was there, though.

I absolutely loved this dress! I am an 8, 5’7” and it fit perfectly. So comfortable and elegant. I wore it to a winter wedding and it was perfect, so many compliments!

This dress ramps up the LBD look. It fit pretty true to size, the arms were a little tight, but not uncomfortably so. I had women stopping me to compliment the dress. The slit is high, but not inappropriate for a work event.

I got so many uuuhs and aaaahs with this dress I felt like Pretty woman. The difference between M & L was minimal. I went for confort w/L. My only complain is the inner flap that crosses the waist curled up. It gave the impression my spanks was rolling down. I was probably the only one that noticed. Also, it's sweater fabric. I wore it in July, in Fl, in the middle of the day for a graduation. (Totally on me for not reading the description). Would still wear it again. Beautiful & classy!

I wore this to Moulin Rouge on Broadway and felt amazing. It was the perfect classy style with a little bit of edge and warm enough for 50 degree weather in NYC. Runs TTS.

I LOVED this dress. Needed something for a dressy event and wasn't thrilled about this dress until I put it on. It's a heavier fabric so better for cooler weather but it's high quality and drapes so beautifully. My husband really wanted me to keep this dress. Beware if you are shorter, this dress may be too long. I'm 5'7" and wore 4" heels while wearing the dress and the hem was close to touching the ground.

Oh my gosh-I felt so incredible wearing this dress! Super comfortable very sexy! As another review stated-the arms were definitely a little tight, and I don't have big arms. Also, the long portion of the skirt covers your lap while sitting so no indecent exposure.

I'm usually a small but decided to try the XS as that was the only available size. Fortunately it has enough stretch overall it worked. The only place it was tight was in the arms. The neckline is EVERYTHING. I took these pics with the shoulder pulled up but will wear off-the-shoulder too. Had to wear 5" heels to keep the long side off the ground. I recommend taking it off the hanger to keep the shoulders from getting "hanger nipples". Thick knit best for cooler temps.

I’m 2 months postpartum and I wanted to feel confident and comfortable at my brother’s bridal shower. This dress was a good fit, so many compliments and comfortable. I loved the fun neckline, the asymmetrical bottom and the slit! FYI the slit is really high and wearing a bra is kinda weird because you’ll have to slightly push it off the shoulder.

This is super fitted but still very flattering. The thick sweater material is perfect for a winter event where you want to be comfortable and warm. This is definitely on the fitted size - I am usually a small in dresses but needed a medium in this case.

Love a little black dress with something extra. The slit is a little high, but I feel like it’s still appropriate and got so many compliments. It’s a thick material and hides things well.

Loved this dress. Heavy fabric that was forgiving. I could have done a medium but the large worked just fine. 32/DD top and it was a little loose in the shoulders but no one would notice. VERY high slit, but gorgeous overall.

This was simple yet stunning. It was elegant paired with stilettos for a formal event, but equally perfect with boots and moto jacket for a group dinner. Received so many compliments. Would love to have purchased if not so expensive

I'm an Unlimited member. There are pieces I've seen once on my feed and then they just disappear. For good. This dress came up and I was very aware that this was one of those pieces. So I grabbed it. It's one of the most beautiful dresses I have ever rented. It is true to size and drapes so fluidly. The only caveat? It's HOT. I live in Florida where it is still 90 during the day. I wore it anyway! So many compliments! I know that I will never see it again, but it was lovely while it lasted.

I ordered a medium and it fit perfectly. I loved the off the shoulder look--the sleeves are snug so it didn't slide off. It was thick (thin sweater feel) so it wasn't see through which is always nice. I wore it with braided open 4 inch heels. Since I'm 5'9 it didn't drag on the floor with 2 inch heels but I decided to make it a little sexier. The slit is high but it was easy to sit in because you can flip/tuck the longer side over if you had a work function. I would definitely wear it again.

Wore as part of my vampire costume. So fun and and flows. Neckline a little low and bra showed but worked out for costume. Length long for me at 5'1" but I just pinned up the edge piece.

While I got a lot of compliments on the dress, where the seams came together at the waist created a lot of bulk. I probably would not rent it again

It is a beautiful style. I liked the slit and the scarf like front. It was just difficult to keep straight.

Heavy sweater fabric that doesn't have much stretch. Wore on a dinner date, was fun to wear but the slit is so high I was worried I might flash someone. It was a bit small on me, should have sized up.
