Insouciant
This is my ideal white button down. Crisp, cool fabric good for hot weather with a slouchy cut and pattern to add interest. I loved wearing it and didn't find it fussy or needing adjustment. The layers in the back are especially great. Sleeves work rolled up or down.

Flattering in an unconventional way
Opted for a larger size to accommodate my shoulders and chest. Surprisingly, it fit quite well! It's a little weird at first, but once you understand it — and commit to the experience — you'll really like this blouse. It's complex and artful and got me many compliments. It was also really fun to style. I love that!

Excitingly Unique!
So refreshingly different! I loved everything about this double layer, crisp blouse. The elevated style is simply unique and wearing it makes one feel the same way. That's what I love about rent the runway. Does run a little big. Normally a size 4, but the size 2 still had plenty of room. I wore it with a half-tuck and it worked well.

Wanted to love it...
...but it was so uncomfortable! Too many layers and it kept moving in weird directions. Really wanted to love it but it was exhausting.

Unique in idea, but awkward and odd in reality
This was not flattering, ran small, and didn’t wear well... also needs to be ironed; ironing this item was difficult and time consuming because there were so many layers, directions, etc.

Not obviously intentional
I couldn't figure out how to wear it. The fabric quality is nice and the pattern is pretty. Fit was strange. It seemed slightly tight here and there and a bit big in other places. Ultimately I couldn't get it to look like it was an intentional garment. It just looked like I rolled out of bed with a shirt I pulled out of a shredder.

A bit too avant- garte for me.
My niece convinced me to try this shirt to wear for a weekend brunch. It was not at all what I expected, I thought that the model just styled an oversized shirt that way. Instead I found that the off the shoulder look is forced. The shirt is sewn to hang off one shoulder, but the other size cannot be adjusted. The placket is also sewn not to be aligned. If felt awkward on and didn't look cute or cool. I couldn't get in back in the bag to return it fast enough.

Awkward
Didn't wear, hard to figure out how to wear it. Has double set of buttons and two collars. The idea was cool, maybe not for my shape.

Typical Monse complicatedness, and I mean that in a very good way
This is like two blouses layered on top of one another, but with cutouts and overlaps so that it's super complicated and cool. The print is beautiful - looks like notes taken by a botanist on a clipboard with plans for an orchard. It takes a little playing around to get things to fall correctly. I found that tugging on the left sleeve cuff helped the layers fall so that the sexy shoulder gap was working.

Unique print and styling
LOVE this shirt! Only problem is it runs large. I'm usually 2-4 and ordered a 4, I wore it once, and returned but will definitely rent again either as a 0 or 2.. Note: cuffs a very long. If you're petite especially. This is definitely a fashion top, and should be not worn for work or when you need some type of practicality.

Avante Garde shirt, but you need to size down.
So I usually order a 0 or 2 in Monse. I definitely think a 0 would have fit me better because the 2 was ginormous. The cut of the shit is very cool but if the fit is too big, you won't get the cool shoulder crease.
