This dress was complete perfection!!! I have never received so many compliments. I felt beautiful, Princess for the evening.

This dress fit perfectly around my bust, wasn't too revealing or high up. It also sat well and comfortably around my waist. The length was perfect for my 5'5 height and 4 inch heels. There was nothing I did not like about the stress shape, cut, color, or fit. I would definitely rent this style again! Also, who doesn't LOVE pockets!? The ONLY negative was that the dress arrived with the lining underneath slightly ripped towards the bottom on the side and until I figured that out I kept stepping into the hole that was on the inside and tripping lol. Not visible at all, just annoying and I had to make sure I wasn't stepping into the ripped material all night.

I felt like Cinderella! I wore this dress to a black tie Valentine's Day Ball. It was perfect. Lots of support so I didn't need to wear a bra, and I never once had to fidget or pull it up! Glad I ordered the long length, I'm 5'8 and it barely skimmed the floor without heels. The regular would've been way too short for me. The color is more of a true grape purple than the color shown in the marketing photo...it's a beautiful deep, royal color! I received compliments all evening and definitely felt like the Belle of the Ball!

Wore this to a Mardi Gras Ball. Felt so very elegant in this dress! Perfect dress for the event. Loved the pockets. I am short (petite) and with 3-4" heels the length of this dress was perfect. Fit well; no issues all night.

I was worried this would not support my 34D and be slipping down while I danced but it was perfect! I felt secure and comfortable all night long with room to eat a big dinner. Felt like a princess!

I didn't wear this dress, but it was beautiful. He busy area runs a bit small, so if you are heavier up top , I would suggest going one size up. The dress was very flattering, the color was beautiful.

The dress fit perfect. No complaints. This was my replacement dress because the first style didn't fit. I'm glad it didn't. I loved this one instead!

I usually wear either a size 2 or a size 4. I received the dress in both sizes. While the 2 was perfect in the waist it was just too tight in the bust. I went with the size 4 which was still lovely, although it didn't have the waist cinching capacity that the size 2 had. The dress was worn for an evening charity ball, so the full ballgown skirt was perfect. I received compliments all evening. At 5 foot 4 inches, I wore the dress with 4 inch heels, which was perfect to keep the gown from dragging on the floor, although it did touch.

Dress ran small. I couldn't even fit a bra. I'm generally a size for or a 6 depending on the designer but glad I got the 8 as a back up! Another amazing RTR experience! Compliments all night long on this dress!

This dress was a deeper, darker purple than the sample picture. The material felt expensive and the tulle ball gown was glamorous without being overwhelming. Was not heavy, and the top has a bra corset which helped it stay in place. Beautiful gown- would recommend! I am typically a size 10 but only the 12 was available, it was a bit too big so I would say it runs true to size.

Stunning gown that had me feeling like the real Cinderella, definitely a head turner. The fabric is heavy but flowy and easy to move around in. I would say this can work for any cup size and body type.

Perfect for the wedding I attended - just runs a little small but otherwise no complaints about the dress!

A great fit and length and I'm 5'7. The chest was a bit but but I have a size B so it should be fine for a woman lol I'm only 17. I loved it and spinning in it makes you feel like a princess.

I ordered the 14R and the 12L. I have 36DD/E breasts. The boning was better on this one (better than the Marchesa Notte Madison) but the interior bra latch/clip was ripped out so I didn't have as much support as I needed or could have (I have another ML gown so I know what the internal bra strap around the back does). It was pretty tight so it stayed up, but I just felt "thick" in the dress. The fabric is rough but heavy so I think it would look fine at night, but I didn't feel glamorous. Maybe if I fit the 12 (i.e. weighed less). Not a bad dress, but not great and RTR needs to fix the missing bra support part. The 14 R swept the floor in my bare feet and would have been fine with low heels. I didn't try on the 12L for length. I thought I usually wore a 12 but I might be fooling myself and really wear a 14.

Like most designer gowns, it runs on the smaller side. I normally wear an 8, so the 10 fit beautifully. And at 5'7" with a 3 inch heel, the long was definitely the way to go. The dress, a gorgeous shade of plum, offers lots of support on top--I actually needed my husband to clasp and zip it all because there was no way I could have done it myself. I didn't feel like I needed to pull it up at all. There is a lot of fabric to the skirt, so sitting down for dinner took some work, but it was perfect for mingling and dancing. I got so many compliments on the gown that I was sad to give it back. Thanks to RTR for sending such an amazing dress!

This dress is very pretty. The skirt is full and dramatic. However, the internal corset runs very small. I would suggest sizing up at least two sizes.

Stunning dress!

The dress fit perfectly. It really pulls you in in the waist. I normally wear a size 6 to an 8; however, this dress is cut small. I absolutely loved the dress: the fabric, color, dramatic flare....EVERYTHING!!!

I received this as a last-minute back-up dress when it was discovered my ordered dress was going to be unavailable. I will say that -- overall -- the stylist did a fantastic job picking a similar dress from what was available. However, the crucial, specific elements of the other dress that were the reason I picked it, were not included/reflected in this one, and the overall effect was therefore not quite achieved -- no fault of the stylist. This dress, aside, is very beautiful. The fabric is dense and wonderful without feeling too heavy. The color complimented my medium olive skin tone beautifully, and appears fairly-to-moderately darker than the photos let-on. The skirt is full, easily hides hips without creating additional width, and looks beautiful when walking. The bodice is nicely fitted with a built-in bra. Even being very full-busted (32FF), I think I probably could have gotten away without an additional bra if the fit were correct. Unfortunately, the dress I originally ordered ran SUPER small, so this back-up dress was sent in that size -- a 12L -- when I typically wear a 6 or 8L. Therefore, I can't really comment too much on sizing, but to my best guesstimate, this dress ran true-to-size. My mother (personal stylist via FaceTime :D) felt that the dress looked maybe a bit bridesmaid'y or mildly matronly, but overall it seemed to just have a conservative, formal air. While this is a dress I don't think I would have selected on my own, I perhaps would have even worn it had the sizing element not been an issue. OVERALL -- High quality gown with classic, subtle air

I did not end up wearing this dress to my event (I rented three dresses and chose another) but I spent time in it, as it was a very close second. The fit was perfect. The top did not slip once, I never had to pull on it. The bottom jut skimmed the floor when I was in my 4 inch heels. You could not see my heels at all when I walked, the dress stands away from the body. The color is simply stunning and the lace on the bodice adds just enough texture for interest but does not dominate. The pockets are not as deep as I would have liked but I love that it had pockets.

Fit perfect - absolutely loved it! Need 5" heels which is fine. Was too much for the gala I was going to and didn't wear but sure loved it!

Did not struggle to keep the dress up due to non-slip edges around the top. If you are short, it is long and you might have to carry it.

I received a lot of compliments on the dress however I had to make small adjustments to the dress due to the top was too small to contain my breast. Otherwise the dress was beautiful!

This was my back up dress, so I only tried it on, didn't wear it to an event. A nice, simple strapless gown. There's a bra that clasps in the back inside the dress, and a zipper, so it feels secure. Sometimes those strapless gowns need constant upward tugs. The material has perhaps less sheen than shown in the picture, the color is hard to describe. If you had some really spectacular jewelry to display, this would be a great dress for it.

This is a true ball gown. I felt amazing in it and received many compliments, and overall I was pleased with it. A few things to note. The dress runs long, even in very high heels, I had to hold the skirt up. The skirt is huge, it flows nicely, but there is a lot of fabric to deal with. The zipper is extremely difficult. I needed two people to help me zip this dress. (I ordered 2 sizes and this was a problem on both). It is a beautiful gown.

I really wanted to wear this dress but it did not zip. My rib cage and shoulders are broad so that was my problem. Waist is about 34 right now.
