The zipper is hard to pull up because of the heavy fabric and lace. I ordered both and 8 and 10. I' wore the 10 since it fit better around the waist. I'm 5'3" and weigh 133. I usually wear an 8 but it was tight so I'm glad I went up in the size. The length was perfect for me, just about my knees.

This dress was wonderful! I cannot tell you how many compliments I got while wearing this dress! I ordered a six and eight and actually wore the eight. the six fit, but the top part of this dress is so snug i could barely move my arms, so i went with eight and it worked out perfectly! If You have a large chest be sure order a size up, not a size down because the top is so restrictive and fits so tightly. But, regardless this dress is fabulous I can see it working on many different body types!

Was perfect for a California very warm spring wedding. Felt like I totally nailed the event with this RTR dress. The dress has NO GIVE, I was able to wear a strapless with those see through straps and that worked perfectly for me, the 12 wouldn't fit my bust so went a size up to the 14 which fit perfectly.

While this dress was beautiful and made me feel like a princess, it has some design flaws. The sleeves were not stretchy and the zipper was just awful. I'm normally a size 0 and the dress fit but it was a squeeze when it reached my bust. That plus the comedy that was the getting the zipper to move anywhere made me dislike the dress.

The color is very rich and eye-catching, pretty and festive. The lace detail on top and the full swirly skirt are very attractive. The sleeves on the size 2 were just too tight to move comfortably (they have no stretch) so I didn't wear it, but I would gladly try it in a size 4 next time.

I received so many compliments on this dress. I really stood out from all the black, cream and navy but didn't feel self-conscious or uncomfortable at all in the bright color. The photos of this dress on are much truer to color than the Rent the Runway photos. This dress is a bright fuchsia. I have blond hair and tan skin at the moment and I thought the color really complimented my complexion and skin tone. The dress is comfortable and easy to wear- I was sad to send it back! In regard to size, I normally wear a 6 in regular store clothes (Banana, Ann Taylor, etc.) but knew that designer would run smaller- the size 10 fit me.

I rented this dress for my daughter for a wedding. It was a little large in the bust for her, but she has a small frame. She received many compliments on the dress. The color was beautiful and very classy!

I absolutely LOVE this dress. I was so sad to have to send it back! This was my first RTR order and I enjoyed every minute of it. So lets get into the review. I originally wanted to order a 4 as that is what I start with and size up if needed and a 6 as back up. However, there was no 4 available for my date and I decided to go with the 6 and the 8...thank goodness I did! The 6 fit, but the bust was very tight for me. I tried on the 8, and though the waist was a little more loose the bust fit must better. There is no give/stretch to the fabric, so I recommend ordering a size up as back up. The color was beautiful, very bright and perfect for a wedding. I loved how it looked because I stood out amongst the black. I got compliments from various strangers all night long! The first two images is when I tried on the size 8 the day I got the delivery. The third is when I was heading to the wedding. Because of the decadence of the dress (the color, the fabric, the details) I kept all accessories to a minimum. I wore nude pumps, pale gold and white dangling earrings, and a mute silver clutch. Keep in mind the fabric is a tad heavy because of the details, the sleeves were not tight on me but had no stretch, so it may be tight on someone else with thicker arms. Overall, a very beautiful dress that I would rent again in a heartbeat!

This dress was bright, fun, and I felt great in it! The 6 fit well and my husband loved it! It was my first RTR experience and I have to say I was very pleased! The sleeves on this dress were the tightest part of the dress but overall fit fine. I tried on the 8 but it looked a little big everywhere so went with the 6.

Per reviews I read, I sized up a size due to thick arms and a bigger chest, and that worked perfectly.

This dress does run small and I had to size up. The arms were tight and itchy. There were 2 small holes in the armpit area but no one noticed. This dress was fun and the color was gorgeous.

I love the look of this dress and its shape. However, it is my least favorite rental so far. The sleeves are very snug. Making it difficult to move and dance. Additionally, the lace is itchy. Overall, it's pretty uncomfortable. That being said I did receive a ton of compliments and it photographs well. I would definitely suggest sizing up AT LEAST 1 size, maybe two.

This was a beautiful dress but ran very, very small. I can wear an 8 or 10, read the comments and saw that it ran small so I ordered a 10 and 12. I wore the 12 but could have used a 14, which to me seems a little crazy. The zipper got stuck in the center even when hanging on a hanger. The arm pit area was very tight and I had a rash/burn before the night was over. It also had a hole small hole in the armpit but couldn't be seen so I wore the dress anyways. It was very well made. Would have been more fun if it fit me better. That being said, I got a million compliments and, while I won't wear this dress again, I will rent others in the future.

This was my fifth choice for dresses, didn't reserve early enough for wedding season. It is a beautiful color and looks great. However, what other reviewers have said about the sleeves being constricting is absolutely true. It was apparent in the dresses I received that the sleeves are so constricting that they are prone to rip. I could tell when I received the dresses that the they had previously been repaired. You could tell from the seams that the netting had ripped previously and had been taken in further to repair the dress. You could also tell when you compared the original stitching on the dress and how perfect and seamless it is with the netting versus the repair seams where the little appliqués are not sewed flat, but rather into the seam. Also that the repaired seams themselves are not an even width all the way through. Since the sleeves were taken in even more, it allowed even less room to move. I went to hug one of my cousins when I first arrived at the church for the wedding and heard a rip under my right arm. When you can't even hug someone, then you know the dress is a major problem. Do yourself a favor, save yourself the worry and rent a different dress. I love RTR and have rented a few times from them with no problems, but unfortunately this beautiful dress is just not worth the problems that comes with it.

Lace on this dress is beyond beautiful , definitely talk of a town ... I would suggest it for a very special event . One of the best dress I received !

Love this dress! So beautiful. The color was divine and really popped. So many compliments. It was about 1/2 to 1 size too large on me but I am usually a 00 so I think it is true to size overall. Not having to wear a bra with it was pretty nice too. Very comfortable in general. Worth it!

I thought this dress would be closer to a red but when it arrived I was surprised to find that it's BRIGHT pink (almost neon in pictures with flash). However, the delicate lace and retro shape made the dress truly elegant overall and balanced out the pink-ness of the dress (which I ended up loving and was perfect for a spring event). I found it to be true to size but there really isn't ANY stretch to the lace up top so if you're in between sizes or broad shouldered maybe size up. Highly recommend!

The sizing was a bit small so I wore the 10 instead of the 8.

This dress is beautiful in person! I did not wear it, for a few reasons...as others mentioned, it is TIGHT in the arms. I also have very, very sensitive skin, and the lace hurt. (Gosh, that sounds dramatic lol) The dress has a 'hidden' zipper which was difficult to use even without the dress on. I didn't want to fight with the zipper since I knew it was a hard one. I am 5'7 and it fell a few inches above my knee. Wish it would have worked, it was beautiful and my three year old daughter loved the 'pink dress' :)

Rich color & beautiful embroidery. Received numerous complements BUT BEWARE... my only complaint about this dress, if you have thick arms you will feel very restricted, there is NO strech material on this dress.

The dress was super cute, unfortunately I did not get to wear it :( I order a size 8 (I normally wear a 6 or an 8 dress) and a 10 as a backup because I read online that the dress has no give. I have average sized arms, but I could tell the 8 sleeves were too small (although the rest of the dress fit). I was excited to wear the 10, but unfortunately, the 10 had a major rip in the sleeve when I got it (which doesn't surprise me honestly), but didn't even try it on because of the rip. Bummer!

The color and the lace details are gorgeous! Dress is heavy and feels/looks very expensive. BUT arms are super small, and the zipper gets caught on the lace. I really wished on wearing this dress for my son's baptismal but apparently I'm too huge for Monique Lhuillier. Crossing my fingers on my replacement dresses!! (p.s rent the runways customer service/stylist are amazing! --- replacement dresses have been overnighted but you do have to pay for the shipping)

I normally wear a size 10 dress and this dress only zipped maybe halfway if even that. I was not able to wear the dress, so it was a waste of money in the long run. I was also unable to order a size up when I was placing my order due to it being unavailable. I am getting married in two weeks and will try to find a rehearsal dress, if there are any available in my size. Otherwise, I probably won't return.

I rented this as one of my options as a bridesmaid's dress. Definitely was not for me. Color is VIVID and rather iridescent in the light. The dress material is heavy and a little itchy on top. The lace and beading detail is gorgeous, and I loved the shape of the dress, however.

The dress was absolutely gorgeous, when I took it out of the box I was in love. But when I attempted to get it on, my love affair ended. The waist fits true to size, maybe even slightly large, but the sleeves are a different story. I don't have thin arms, but I couldn't even get the sleeves on! I got them about past my elbows and then nothing. Like other reviews have said, there is no stretch, so if you don't have thin arms, this dress might be a bit tricky. Neither the 6 (which fit in the waist perfectly, maybe even a little loose) nor the size 8 fit my arms. I guess it's time to start some weight lifting if I have any hopes of wearing this pretty dress!

Beautiful, bold color that will make you stand out. Fits tight on the top, so don't be afraid to get a bigger size. Good length. Would go well with any color heels (I wore gold). Would definitely rent it again.

Ran a bit tight in arms as other reviewers noted and for me, larger in waist. Overall, a beautiful dress and gorgeous color. You won't be disappointed renting this dress.

Very comfortable fit

I put runs small, but the actual dress doesn't run small; the sleeves run small. I didn't end up wearing it Bc I loved my Badgley sequin backup dress better, but it truly is gorgeous! I'm usually a 10 and the 10 looked stunning, but my other dress was more on the sexy side and I preferred that look for the party I attended. I suggest if you have normal to thin arms to order your normal size, but order the next size up as your backup size. The 12 wasn't available, but I'm sure the 12 would have fit better in the arms and then the waist and bust would've been large. I honestly wouldn't even bother renting this dress if you have really large arms. I have normal to maybe even a little above normal size arms and it fit perfect for standing or sitting around, but there's no way I could have danced or touched the top of my head in this dress lol

I wanted to wear this dress for a wedding but the material in the upper half was too stiff and not stretchy at all! The armpit area would have ripped if I had raised my arms. Unfortunately the bigger size wasn't available for a backup. It's a shame, the dress is quite lacey and gorgeous!

Loved the way this dress looked on the hanger and it would have fit perfectly through the body but the arms were so snug. If you have bigger arms, size up or skip this one. I sadly couldn't wear it.

This dress runs small; there is no stretch in the fabric. However, the dress is beautiful and very feminine. The lace sleeves are beautiful, I really wanted this dress to work for me but it was just too small.

I didn't get to wear it because it was just too small on top and large on the bottom. Great for someone who is very slender on top.

I received this as a backup, and I ended up not wearing it because the arms and chest were quite scratchy and constricting. I wasn't a fan of the material of the dress either. It was a little too "pageant" for my taste. Between the color, embellishment, and material, I had to pass.
