The length was at my ankles longer than on the model, I'm 5'2. The color and material were great for a beach wedding.

Perfect for a black tie wedding. The color is amazing, I got compliments all night. I used my own belt because they forgot to ship the one it comes with. The chest is very tight but I used a strapless corset which did the charm.

This was a beautiful pink dress, fit true to size, belt was pretty & had pockets. It was comfortable and covered enough to wear without bra. This was almost a long dress on me,wore higher heels to add height.

Size 6 was too small in waist so went with backup size 8. What she loved: the length allowed for a low heal (or even flats) and pockets meant no need for a clutch. The challenges of the dress: couldn't find a strapless bra that didn't peak out in the front and back. Daughter is age 18, 5'5", 130 lbs, 32DDD cup.

I rented this dress for a wedding that was black tie optional and absolutely LOVED it! The first dress that I ordered never made it due to USPS so RTR overnight me this dress and I couldn't be happier!!!

First of all, wow. The fabric is unbelievable. Pictures do not do it justice. It's one of those pieces that you look at and just know it was expensive. I wore this to a gala at the Reagan Library, and I stood out in a good way. Just about everyone wore black, but I was determined to wear something different. I got countless compliments! I ordered a black bridal sash from Amazon, and it was a nice alternative to the belt the dress actually came with. The fit is snug. I'm an 8 right now, and the 10 barely fit. My chest is on the larger side, and the dress kind of smashed my boobs. There is no stretch at all. Size up for your back up size for sure! It was very flattering through the hip and thigh area though. Great for all the pear shaped ladies!

Loved the dress, loved the fit, thought I could get away with wearing a regular bra with it, but had to wear strapless because the tops of the straps are thin. Loved the color, had so much fun accessorizing. No one else at the party wore this dress, I felt unique and wonderful. A ton of photographs were taken because I really stood out.

It was kinda wrinkly from the shipping and was a tad bit snug. But I would wear it again in a flash!!!!

The fit was perfect. I ended up not wearing the belt, I felt like the dress by itself was pretty enough on its own. The color was great, and the pockets were so much fun! I would definitely rent this again, and suggest it to others.

This description should say 'tea length' on this dress. That's what it is. It's not knee length. The bust is full, yes, and with a full bust, I chose is specifically. That and the full skirt. I wore this for a performance and wanted a 50's look. Tea length, full skirt fit the bill. Loved it!

I was hesitant about wearing such a vibrant color for a wedding - I didn't want to seem like I was trying to "pull focus" but for an afternoon/early evening wedding in Center City Philadelphia, this dress really worked perfectly. The fit was spot on - I actually didn't need to wear a bra because there seems to be some nice structure to the top of the dress. The fabric had a more tangible texture but this didn't feel heavy. The belt was beautiful and I ended up going with it but you could add one of you own or avoid it. The length and the structure made me feel so comfortable and at ease all night- no fear of flashing anything you don't want to :) It was gorgeous and I definitely had a Joan Holloway moment :)

This was the last dress I tried on at an in-store style session for a late September wedding. Just fell in love with it when I put it on. I don't usually do the fit and flare style, but being tall, this hit at my natural waist and the the belt it was very flattering on - AND allows you to eat and drink all you like without the need for shapewear underneath! The bright fuchsia color is gorgeous. It's such a rich tone that I was able to get away with it for a Fall wedding. I even liked it with my red hair! And the pockets - OMG the pockets. They just make you happy. Not to mention how handy they are to hold your phone while you're dancing, and still be able to take photos in an instant. The tea length was perfect for my height (6'0") and with a delicate sandal didn't cut me off at all in the legs. I was able to wear a strapless bra with a low back - you could also do a backless bra if need-be. The layers underneath made the dress full, but not so much that it wasn't comfortable. It felt very vintage, but still modern, with a very simple and elegant cut. I highly recommend this dress - didn't want to return it!!

The dress was PERFECT!! I had tried it on in the flatiron store and fell in love. The color is so youthful and unique. I wore it to my cousins black tie wedding and got ENDLESS compliments all night long. The dressed ended up shipping to me without its sequence belt but I ended up finding this black belt at Nordstrom. RTR refunded me $50 for the inconvenience. I wish I could wear this dress again but it's so memorial that now it's on social media, it's hard to live up to the initial wow factor. Fit like a glove and was so fun to twirl and dance in all night. I felt so incredibly classy and dolled up!

Love this dress, got a ton of compliments. Is longer than it looks in the photos. Runs a little small, I am usually a 10. Great because is has pockets and you can wear a bra. The color was bold, but not too loud. Loved it!

Runs very very small, I usually wear a 6 or 8 but after reading the reviews I ordered a 8 and 10 , the 10 fit. It was wrinkled when it arrived so I just took it in to get pressed, but that's to be expected I suppose with it coming through the mail. This dress was absolutely gorgeous , the color very vibrant very classy look! RTR is an amazing company.... I've told all my friends and family. Thank you RTR for making me feel no stress and just Beautiful for my friends wedding

... I am 5'4" and about 118 lbs. I thought the length would be right below my knees but it was a lot longer....closer to above my ankles which I was able to pull off but as I was dancing my heel got caught in the seem in the back and it undid it which is probably a good reason to make sure the skirt is higher up. The dress was snug which I loved and the glittery belt added just the right amount of sparkle. The pockets were EVERYTHING since I don't like wearing or carrying a purse. I have never worn something so bright. The dress is true to the color shown in the picture. It's a fabulous cut and easy to move in. I felt amazing in it!

This dress made me feel so elegant- it was perfect for a black tie wedding. I'm a 34H and the bust was bit snug but everywhere else was a perfect fit. Also I'm 5'6" and the dress went practically to my ankles so it is longer than it appears in the picture. Overall well made and the color was stunning.

Loved this style! I typically wear a size 4 and felt that this was very small, especially in the waist. I recommend sizing up in back up if this is your problem area. The bust had much room and would be great for ample busts, but would work well with a padded bra if you are smaller on top. The full skirt allows comfortable room for any hip size and is surprisingly comfortable! I'm 5'7 and the length was great on me, and hit about mid-calf, but I would not recommend this style for more petite girls as I would imagine the skirt length and volume to be overwhelming on a petite frame. I love that this is a belted style as the sequin accents really play up the gorgeous color of this gown. Also, because this is a low back, it is difficult to pair with a standard bra as the back straps will show. Overall, great style!!

Fit perfectly. Belt was smaller than waist of dress even on the loosest snap, and they only sent the belt in the smaller size for both dresses. Don't know if that was an error or just how it is. Dress was very comfortable and didn't require double stick tape.

I'm 5'3", and I was hoping the size 0 would fit me, but alas, I am too short for even that. The straps were too long, and the hem was almost to my ankles. I also have a small build on top, so there was a lot of empty space in the chest area, but I expected that at least. But the good things... Pockets! Dresses with pockets automatically get extra points! The color was vibrant, and the fabric felt great.

The dress itself ran true to size except for the length. I'm 5'5" and ordered a regular, the hem came to my ankles. It was still a gorgeous dress! I couldn't wear a bra because of how low it plunged in the back but the bodice was tight enough that it didn't matter, I did put in some self adhesive bra cups just to give myself some shape.

great fit on top = but waist just BARELY worked for me in a size 2. Others said it was longer than expected - I could not have worn the size 4 to give me a little room in the waist because it would have been too long. Overall I felt great in the dress and got lots of compliments. It was an event to honor Hollywood, and the dress had a retro feel to it. I felt sexy and glamorous without being cheesy. My date loved me in it.

When the dress arrived, I found that it was more of a fuchsia color than the hot/Barbie pink that I expected. I thought that the "plunging" neckline would be lower than it was, but was pleasantly surprised that it was actually fairly modest. I was able to wear a plunging bra so that it wouldn't show in the back, and used some fashion tape to make sure the back/straps wouldn't pop out during the night. I'm 5'8", and I expected this to be slightly shorter in the front. I had to wear 4 inch heels so it wouldn't look awkward, but I was very happy with the fit overall. I got so many compliments throughout the night. A woman even came up to me at the very end of the wedding to tell me that she had been talking to others about my dress all night because she loved it so much. Also, pockets ftw.

I really loved this dress!! It is so classy and fit me well. If you had the chance I would recommend that you GET THIS DRESS! The only thing you might want to be careful of is that this fabric does not stretch. Relatively small in the waist with room in the chest. The dress was a little longer than I expected but I loved it! The pockets were probably my favorite part!

Loved this dress. It had pockets! This is not a dress I would normally buy but that is what made it fun to rent. It was fun, comfortable & made for a great night!

My experience with this dress was two fold, in love and disappointed at the same time. I ordered my regular size and a size up, per earlier reviews that it was snug around the ribcage. My regular size fit perfectly and I only found that it was snug in the ribcage because the waist hits a good 1.5" above my natural waist. I have a longer torso. This would have been more or less visually ok if RTR had sent me the correct size matching belt. Unfortunately, they mailed me one belt, in a size 4, with my two dresses which were size 8 and size 10. Doesn't make sense, right? The belt has a snap closure, so I could not even wrap the belt around my waist securely without pinching myself and the dress in very unattractively. I called customer service and they promised to send a whole new dress out with the correct belt size. Alas, the whole new dress arrived with no belt whatsoever. I was really upset because I felt the dress really needed the accessory to make it not only complete, but nip my waist in. The dress was beautiful so I did wear it, having no other choice anyway. I absolutely loved the back of the dress, it has the perfect V shape for my back. Got lots of compliments, just wish I had the belt!

Very pretty dress. It was pretty much true to size, but a little big in the bust (I'm usually a 4/6 on the bottom and a 0/2/4 on top). Had to wear a padded bra to make it work and it was still a little bitt off. But loved the color and back and thought it was fun and festive for a wedding.

Am a true size 6 but after reading the reviews I ordered up a size. The 8 was uncomfortable zipped so I wore my backup size 10 . It was a little large on top which necessitated wearing a strapless bra because the dress straps would not stay put to cover a tiny bra strap. I did not receive the self belt which was disappointing , so I had to buy a substitute. It looked great and I received many compliments. The fabric is beautiful. Overall , I liked the dress , but did not feel comfortable having the top too big.

As others reviews said it runs very small. I'm usually a 6 and the 8 was uncomfortably tight. It dipped too low in the cleavage for comfort, and at 5'4 it was too long for tea length and too short for long. Too bad--I love the color.

This dress was sent to me as a back up to my back up. The back up size of the dress I ordered wasn't available and then dress I picked to replace it was damaged so the RTR Team subbed this in instead. This is not a dress I would have picked for myself. The color and quality of this dress is great, but for me the length was all wrong. I am about 5'5" and this dress hit me right at the ankles which I found to be just awkward and not flattering. Perhaps on taller women it would be more "tea" length but it did not work for me. The sizing ran pretty true. I had plenty of room in the arms, hips and bust all and could probably have fit into a size 10 in this dress. (I ended up wearing another dress by this designer in a size 10) I would say the waist for me was the least forgiving area, although not uncomfortable. I also loved that this dress had two pockets and came with an adjustable belt.

I tried the size 4 in store but it was a little too tight so I got the size 6 for the event. When it came, it was so much longer, fuller and generally bigger than the one in store. It wore me rather than the other way round! I was so disappointed but luckily had a back up dress. Be wary that everything is so much bigger - I wanted the fit of the four in length and fullness of skirt, but it was a totally different dress in larger size.

I thought it long for t-length and I'm 5'9". My only con is that I should've had a tailor for the fit on my shoulders. But, that's on me.

After reading every review on this dress, I ordered UP. In most dresses, I wear a 14, so I thought I should order a 14W and have the 16W as backup. I was really worried that even the 16R wouldn't fit given all of the other reviews... well, turns out both dresses were SO large! I immediately called RTR to get smaller dresses sent, but unfortunately they were out of the 12R (which I was banking on fitting). RTR did send me the 10R, in the hope it would miraculously fit, and unfortunately it wouldn't zip! I bet the 12 would have been perfect. Bummer! The material is so lovely, the dress has a great cut! Would love to wear this to an event in the future.

The color is amazing, and the pockets cannot be beat! I am smaller busted, so definitely needed a padded bra. Also, the belt runs a little bit small, so something to be aware of.

Dress fit snug at the top and with the belt. It runs long so it fit almost to my ankles. Since its not the usual length the dress calls the attention of the crowd. I trully felt like a princess!
