This dress fit perfectly, I am 5'1 and wore 4" inch heels with the dress and it was the perfect length.

Love this dress, it made me feel like a princess! I would recommend sizing up, as it runs small- especially if you have a larger chest.

The fit is perfect for my shape. I got so many compliments. Great for someone who is small on top and big on the bottom!

I would absolutely recommend this dress to everyone it's very flattering. The only thing is you definitely need to commit to wearing heels for the night. It's also very easy to dance in if you have issues with long hem lines like I do.

Beautiful dress!!! I hated to have to return it! It fits true to size. I did notice that the front of the dress is much longer than on the model, but I wonder if that's because she's taller than I am. Also, the black lace on top was much longer-there was no "reveal" for your legs or shoes. Overall, it fit great, was clean and in great condition and even arrived early! Several people said that my dress was the prettiest at the wedding (except for the Bride's dress of course!)

I had to wear a slip for it to fit and it kept slipping, but it is a gorgeous dress and I got a lot of compliments on it :)

I loved the dress and the fit. The only thing I would caution about is for all of the busty ladies to have a shawl, because it brings out the imperfections around the underarm area when you sit down and do not stand up straight.

This dress was epically gorgeous. The delicate black lace overlays a gray underskirt, and a bounty of tulle. The dress is accented by fine silver stitching. Fit is excellent. You have to have a chest to wear this dress B-D. Any larger or smaller and it will be falling or you won't get it zipped in the back. I wore this dress to a black tie masquerade and was the belle of the ball. The uneven hem was eye catching, and the train added red carpet glamour I didn't expect. I felt like a Disney princess and could not have been more thrilled with my rental!

I loved this dress. The skirt was large, so I kept running into things. But, it was so cute. I'm 5'11", so I was tugging the top up all night. The dress fit true to size.

I absolutely loved this dress. It was so flattering and very comfortable. I felt so elegant in this and got a ton of compliments. It ran true to size and I loved that the dress length kept me from stepping on it all night long. The details are gorgeous, and you can really see them well in flash photos, but in person it looked more like all-black.

The dress fit true to size but I have a very small chest and it was sung. Just the right amount for strapless but more well-endowed ladies may want to go up a size.

This dress was overnighted to me by RTR when my first dress choice was too small and unavailable in the larger size I needed. The customer service is PHENOMENAL; a RTR rep helped me over the phone and through emails to select this dress as a replacement within 24 hours since I was flying across the country for a wedding. Even though it took some extra steps due to sizing, I know I will use RTR again because it was a great experience. The dresses came in great shape and mailing them back was so easy! This dress does run small in the rib cage area so I ended up wearing the 12 instead of the 10. I wore the dress with a strapless bra even though there is enough support that you might be able to get away without wearing one. Overall the dress is beautiful and I felt beautiful in it - I didn't want to take it off or send it back! I received compliments from people I didn't know at the wedding and people kept asking where the dress was from. One of my favorite features is the pockets- perfect for your cellphone! The only con with this dress and why I didn't give it 5 stars is it is a little heavy and I noticed it does become rather hot if you're doing a lot of dancing. Also, at 5'2" I was just able to get away with the hemline in 3 1/2 inch heels. I was worried I'd put my heel through the back hemline, but it ended up working out just fine.

I have a big chest (36DD) so I ordered the 10 and 12. The 10 would not zip up and the 12 was slightly big but I was able to wear it. This is the usual problem with dresses for me. The only issue was I had to keep pulling the dress up because it was strapless but otherwise I was in love! The dress is beautiful and I seriously considered buying it!

the dress is a lot "poofier" than in the picture on the model. It still looked great but more ball gown-ish. It also ran long. I am 5'4" ordered regular and you definitely could not see my feet at all. Love the fact that the dress had pockets!

Rented this for a photo shoot and wish i could have kept it. The lace and layering details of the skirt are gorgeous and the lines of the bodice are very flattering. The fit was comfortable without being too confining.

This was worn for a black tie wedding. Fit was perfect and I received a lot of compliments all night! I felt so fancy! There's a silver circle design in the inner layer that you can't see in the site photos, but I tried to zoom in on in the pic above! Also, I'm 5'6" and the dress still dragged a little wearing 4" heels.

I rented the 8 and the 6. The 8 fit nicely but was a bit loose on my chest. The 6 was tight but a better fit on my chest. I loved wearing this dress. Only down fall was that my husband and others kept stepping on the train. The back dragged a little. I got my heal stuck on the back of the dress and I fell as a result. :| To add a little pizzazz I took a necklace an made it a belt. I got many compliments.

A few days before the event, I received and email stating that my backup size would not be available. Rent the Runway let me choose up to 5 more dresses and would double my rental amount because of the mishap. Their Customer Service is excellent and emails back immediately! I was worried that my backup size would not fit, but thankfully it fit! This dress was absolutely amazing! I have a bigger bust and was worried that the top would be sliding down the whole night since usually strapless bras don't hold me up well, but it didn't. The bodice was tight enough where I didn't have to worry about it. The length was perfect, too. And I loved how full the bottom was; I really felt like a princess!

This dress is absolutely gorgeous in person. I did not need a bra as the inner was secure enough and the rubber grip around the edge of the dress kept it up. I love the pockets. I would highly recommend this dress.

The bust of the dress is thick, so there are no roll downs, or fold overs, I am a 38C and I filled it nicely without it being too tight. The flow of the dress was awesome, it was elegant, without being too formal. I wore a low heel about 2 3/4 inch and the dress wore very comfortably. Even at a concert, which was mostly sit down, I got so many compliments. Rent the runway has a customer for life!! I received so many compliments on this dress! I received this dress because I didn't like the way the one I originally ordered looked on me. The RTR stylist was so helpful and the dress arrived just in time for the event. There is no give, and it is a little tight on the bodice - size up if you have a larger chest.

Fit perfectly, no bra needed. The high low cut was lovely but her train did get stepped on a bit! The pockets were a nice surprise and overall the dress was a hit!!

Some cons is that it does run small so I would up the size and if you're smaller on top it's a bit big. Also if you're short it's very long so you definitely want to wear high heels. I wore this as a last minute back up when the dress I received came in the wrong size and RTR was out of the correct one. I needed something for a black tie wedding that would work for my height. At 5'3 the dress was short enough that wearing 2.5 in heels, the front hit right at my ankles and the back grazed the floor. The dress is also beautiful (I got a ton of compliments). Worked perfectly and wasn't uncomfortable at all, even after wearing for 8 hours!

This dress was comfortable and fit as expected. I am 5'7'' and it was a few inches longer on me than in the model. There is also a silver thread in the overlay that is not visible in pictures. Arrived in good condition. Would rent again.

I did not wear a bra with this dress and had no issues. I had 4 inch heels on, and it was a perfect length for the evening. Best part is, this dress has awesome hidden pockets!

The ONLY con was that even with 3.5 inch heels, the train still dragged the ground and my husband stepped on it a bunch. Otherwise, the dress was a 10--fit was great. It was a little heavy but that didn't bother me. The bust and bodice fit really well once we got them into the right position.

This is a beautiful dress, much prettier in person than in the photos. It is quite dressy, and very well made. It has just a slight hi/low hem. I wore 4" heels and it was ankle length in front with a slight train in back. The skirt is several layers. The top layer is a lightweight black tulle, under that is a layer of netting with gold embroidered circles & black sequins (both of which catch the light & shimmer). Then a nude layer, gathered black netting at the hem to make the skirt fuller & finally the nude slip underneath. The bodice top layer is pleated black tulle, over the embroidered layer. No need for a bra as it has its own bustier. It stays up well with a couple of lines of silicone at the top of the bustier. Plus, it has pockets! With the fuller skirt, no need for shapewear. It was tight to zip the bodice (but it helped keep it in place all evening). It was a perfect gown for a dressy gala, I loved wearing it & received many compliments both that night and afterwards. I would definitely rent it again.

I wore this for a black tie event and the dress was very popular! I'm 5'1" and wore 4.5 in heels and the length worked out well! There was a small train but it didn't get stepped on at all. This wasn't part of my original order, it was overnighted and I was freaking out it wouldn't fit, but it was perfectly! The fabric had a small pooch right above waist, but I added a fancy black beaded belt and it was perfect. I like how it photographed. Dress looked new (unlike the first couple I received). I would definitely order this dress again.

I loved this dress! My dresses came the night before a black tie event for my husband's supper club. He was working late, so my daughter's helped me try on the dresses. The 10 fit and zipped up but felt like it was a bit too big. However, my 6 year old couldn't zip up the 8 on me. Thankfully, on the night of the event, the hubby was able to zip it up and it was a perfect fit! I felt much more comfortable, and it stayed in place the whole night! The dress has lots of details and is gorgeous. There is an underlayer of tulle to give it a full look. Then a champagne colored silk (?) skirt on which a beaded lace overlay sits. On top of that is a soft tulle flowing skirt. Each layer is a little longer then the one before and looks great together. It's also slightly longer in the back then the front. I got many many compliments on it! and of course don't forget the pockets! I did until the end of the night, they are nicely hidden! One thing to note, is that the model wearing the dress must be very very tall...I assumed the 8R would be tea-length for me, but it was more floor length, and then had a bit of a train in the back. I don't think of myself as a short person, especially with heels on, but if you want the look in the pictures I would order a shorter size then you typically do. For me it worked out fine and I was still able to dance in the dress, but it was longer then I thought it would be.

I wasn't hopeful when it arrived... So much material! But once on - wow! So many compliments- my favorite, "you are giving me dress envy!" For a black tie wedding this dress is perfection! Note: you will need someone to help with the zipper - thought it was the size that was giving me trouble but the 6 was tough to get up too. Also plan on a 2" heel at least to get the train off the floor!! No regrets - if you want to feel fabulous this is your dress!

This dress was really beautiful and unique with the tea length high-low hemline. I ordered both the 4 and the 6 and the four fit really well, except it was still a little too big in the boobs for me even with my padded bra.. but after adding a few extra pads to my bra (haha!) it fit great. The boning in the top of the dress is a snug fit but helps hold the dress up well. When I first got it in the mail I thought it was a little bit poofy for a black tie event, but it honestly turned out great. Got lots of compliments on this dress and was very happy with the whole RTR experience!

I saw the dress online and knew that it would be perfect for a black tie gala. Thanks to other reviews, I knew to size up in this dress (normally I am a 10 in formal wear and I wore a 12). The 12 was a little big on top, but it zipped up without a problem, and I was feeling awesome all night long (from the 6:30 pm cocktail hour to coming home at 1AM). The dress had a little wear and tear (a small snag at the hem), but nothing that anyone would even notice upon close inspection and it goes to show it is a popular and loved piece. Being on the shorter side, I wore five inch heels and the dress didn't drag on the floor (I was paranoid of someone stepping on the back). The pockets were definitely a plus! The details of the dress (beading, tulle) were stunning. I loved it!! Loads of compliments. I was going for a classy look and was very happy with my dress choice. Lastly, I appreciated being able to pick up and drop off the dress in-store--in case it didn't work out, the staff assured me they could help find a replacement.

This dress is gorgeous. I wore it for my best friends wedding and it was perfect. It is definitely a fancy dress, so I wouldn't wear this to just any wedding. The dress showed up in great condition and I've never received so many compliments! And it was SO easy using RTR. I will definitely be using this service again! For me, the dress ran a bit small. I'm usually a 6R and I wore an 8R in this. I couldn't even get the 6 zipped. But the 8 fit like a glove - definitely get a second size option (if it's available). So excited to know about this service and can't wait to use again! Great idea and the company is run very well :)
