I felt so elegant in this dress. I'm normally between a size 4 and 6. The size 6 was perfect. Did not need to wear a bra with this as the dress was pretty snug.

I wore this dress to an evening wedding in downtown Seattle. When I first put it on, I was concerned it was going to be too tight, but once I actually got everything in the right place, it fit perfectly. The blue color is a beautiful sapphire and the dress really stands out from the usual generic wedding fare. Anyway, I got lots of compliments and felt super chic and city-fancy all night!

I love this dress! It is sophisticated but fun. I wore it for an awards banquet for my husband and I got a million compliments. The size 4 was great because it was fitted enough that I didn't need a bra. I didn't need a clutch either because it has great pockets that easily fit my phone, mints and lipstick. I have rented the longer version of this dress as well and I love them both! My husband encouraged me to rent it again! Absolutely no complaints!

Usually I'm a size 0, but I wore this in a size 4. Inside ribbing dug into my side a bit throughout the night, but otherwise pretty comfortable and secure.

The boning was a little snug, but overall the dress fit true to size.

This dress is lovely! The color is vibrant and the fit is great, definitely a true 4! I highly recommend this dress if you have a little more in the hip and thigh area because the tulle and skirt cover it really well and even accentuate those areas in a good way :-) I'd also recommend adding a pop of color with a bright shoe. I was at a Spring event and paired it with a fuchsia shoe that complimented the blue and black well. Hope you enjoy this dress as much as I did!

I wore this for my engagement party and got so many compliments. My engagement ring is a sapphire, and the party had a blue theme, so this dress was perfect. I ordered the size 4 which fit but felt a little tight at the time so I went with my back-up size 6, just to make sure I was comfortable all night. The cut of the dress is a dream. The material is quite heavy so even though it is a strapless dress, it was a fine dress to wear for our winter engagement party. LOVE THE POCKETS. I actually rented this dress a second time back in March to wear for a cabaret show I was doing at Joes' Pub in NYC. This dress again knocked it out of the park (although this time I really should have gone with the 4 instead of the 6).

As the stylist at RTR said, the fit in the chest is where you really have to focus, as it's not fitted in the hips at all. I'm always very conscious of looking like I have big hips, but I didn't feel like this accentuated them at all. I did see someone else wearing this and we both said the same thing - very hard to zip up! You won't be able to do it alone and it absolutely won't zip until you hook the inside corset and top hook & eye. My boyfriend was convinced it didn't fit because he was having such a difficult time zipping it up - until he hooked all the inside pieces! Overall, I loved it and I would recommend for anyone! It stays up because of the inside corset and the "sticky" line at the top

I read the other reviews on here about how this dress wasn't for girls with hips so I was a little nervous going into it. I'm a size 8 in pants but usually smaller in dresses being pear shaped. Even though the bottom does flare out, I thought it did it in a natural way that was flattering. It also helps if you wear the right size. The 8 was only slightly too big but it made my hips look gigantic. The 6 was much better. The fabric is very heavy/winter weight fabric. I'm 5'7 and the front hit just above my knees. The top was tight enough it never fell down and I didn't have to worry. Someone stopped me in the bathroom and said they had rented the same dress just last week. I received a lot of compliments and wore black lace shows.

I've been wanting to rent this dress for AGES and was thrilled to have an excuse. My fiance and I opted to do another round of pre-wedding photos and this ended up being perfect for it. The dress was super flattering. I was glad I had the one size smaller though. It has boning up top and even a couple of hooks to fasten an under layer, so I decided something snug and secure up top worked better versus going with the larger size, which was larger up top as well. The dress was super comfortable and I felt like the material looked even nicer in person, which was a huge plus. Was so so sad to send this one back!

I got so many compliments about this dress! I was worried I would have to wear the size 14 because I have a wide rib cage but the size 12 fit perfectly! With the built in bra I didn't need to wear one. I was comfortable in the dress all night and of course, I love any dress with pockets!!! The top part of the dress hugged my curves and the skirt part was super flowy. The color was a beautiful cobalt blue. Definitely goes with silver accessories.

I rented both the size 8 and the 10. I probably could have gone with the size 8 since I ended up pulling the dress up all night and my friends said you could see my bra from the back. Be sure to read the reviews, they're right when they say it's not meant for ladies with full hips since the dress is made of very thick material and has pleats that can make you look a little wider than you would like. The dress is beautiful though, the color is really rich and the dress is very, very well made.

I wore this dress to a ball with a few of my colleagues from work. The minute I saw it I didn't want to wear any other gown. It was a little large in the bust but I stuck soem chicken cutlets down there and it worked out fine.

This dress was gorgeous in person. The fabric was a vibrant blue silk. It fit true to size and I was able to wear it without a bra. I loved the pockets. The dress was comfortable to wear and I had no problem finding shoes and accessories to match. This was my first time using RTR and the whole process was really easy and the dress was better than I expected.

My usual size 2 wasn't available, so I crossed my fingers and ordered the 0 and the 4. I put on the 0 first, and it fit just about perfectly, if not slightly too big. I am a 32D, so I was worried about not having enough room in the top, but I was completely fine, and the construction of the dress made it easy to get away with not wearing a bra. This dress is pretty much ideal for a party or dinner. It has pockets (!) and is very figure flattering (definitely NO need for Spanx!) It's long enough in the back to feel elegant, a little shorter in the front to feel fun, and the neckline is high enough not to give away all the goodies, but low enough to showcase a pretty necklace. I didn't want to send it back, and would definitely consider renting it again!

I loved this dress! I wore it to a black tie wedding and got lots of compliments. It fit well and the fabric was so beautiful in person, the color was a saturated blue violet with a nice sheen to it. And of course pockets are always a plus. It was a flattering silhouette. My chest didn't fully fill it out, but it didn't really show. My main complaint is about the bright red hanger straps that rent the runway uses - when they stick out they are so visible. They should be clear! I suggest taping them to the inside of the dress so they don't come out.

This is one of my favorite dresses I've rented. I was nervous at first about renting it, I thought it would be too poofy, and too dramatic. The dress is poofy and dramatic, but in all the right ways. The fabric is beautiful, and the dress is extremely well made. I got complimented constantly.

I originally rented another dress that came back damaged and RTR had me pick a new dress. I saw this and I'm SO glad this was the dress I ended up wearing. It's so classy, fun, and the color is beautiful! It fit perfectly, was so comfortable, and it had pockets. The dress was longer than you see on the model because I'm only 5'3, however, I believe the length on me made it more appropriate for a wedding. Couldn't have been happier with this dress!!

The fit is very true to size. Very easy to wear and the built-in corset makes it worry free. I am a small B cup so I had to wear nuBra to fill in the top. Also I am 5'5" so the front of the hem falls closer to the knee than it does on the model. There are two pockets which is a plus - adding to the playful element. The skirt has great volume so there's a lot of movement when you dance. So much fun to wear. Also the volume of the skirt makes my small waist look even smaller. Who doesn't love that? The color is beautiful and the pattern design makes it unique. I think I'm the kong girl at the wedding wearing something that's not a solid color. I have to say that this dress is meant to stand out. However it's so elegant it doesn't look out of place. I received both size 4 and 6 and both are brand new with original tab attached. It is a little pricy to rent new but I'm also happy to be the first one to wear it. RTW is great way to always look like a million bucks without leaving a whole rack of gowns and cocktail dresses worn once and left hanging in the closet. The problem with renting from RTW is how to make a decision when there are so many good options to choose from. Another 5 star experience!

I absolutely loved this dress! I needed to wear a strapless bra to fill out the top as I'm smaller chested, but then I was able to dance all night and the dress didn't slip down at all which was great. It also has pockets, which is always a bonus.

I really liked this dress but it wasn't extremely flattering. The hips puff out and look a little weird. However it had pockets!!! The color is gorgeous.

The fit was true to size, with the bust part being a little tight. This could just be due to my busy being a little big (36D). The length was perfect and there wasn't too much cleavage hanging out. Only things that surprised me was that it was fancier than I could tell in the online photo.

I got so many compliments on the dress the color is beautiful! The only part of the dress that was really uncomfortable was the ribbing in the top portion. I put up with it because of how beautiful it is. I'm a little busty so that could have been why the top was so painful.

Beautiful dress! I wore this out to my birthday dinner party. The 6 and the 8 fit me but the 6 was a big snug on my ribcage area so I went with the 8. The fabric was very heavy so it was perfect for the very cold conditions. I felt so beautiful on my birthday wish I could own this dress!! the pockets were great for keeping my phone!

Beautiful dress! Wears better with heels for the short girls like me but it was still cute once I lost them. I wore for a Christmas party I hosted at my house.

This was my first rental from the site and I was referred by my sister. She raved about RTR so I decided to try it. I am so glad that I did because my job holds some events where dresses are needed and this just seemed like a perfect idea! Now - on to the dress! The dress arrived the day before and both dresses still had their tags on. I ordered a 6 and an 8. I didn't even bother trying the 8 on because the 6 was a little too big. It was fine in the skirt part, but the bodice was too big. Mostly, because I have a smaller chest. It would have looked okay, but I would have been pulling my dress up constantly and when I took pictures of the dress before hand you could see a gap. My sister suggested wearing two bras and this worked! So good suggestion on her part. I am not sure if I ordered the 4 if that would have been two small or not, but alas, we will not know. Next time I order a dress that is similar to this, I would order a 4 and 6. I am not sure if it was too large on just me personally because of my chest size or if it indeed did run a little large. I felt that the bodice could have been a little tighter as well. I have other dresses that I currently wear in a size 6 that fit me fine with the bra I wore that evening. Hope that helps. The fabric and quality of the dress was wonderful. I loved the pockets also! I kept my cell phone in there, which was convenient! Overall, great experience!
