Loved it. I wore it to my company holiday party. Photographs beautifully and made me feel like a million bucks. The arms are a bit tight but not unbearable.

I loved this dress and wish I could have kept it. When I received the dress the clasps on the back were broken, the RTR customer service was awesome and overnighted a new one. The only con was that the new one had a crease from someone else folding the dress under to make it shorter. I made it work though and felt fabulous! Be aware the dress does run a little small, the arms were a bit snug but I could still move around fine.

Love the pattern of this dress. It fit me very well. I am a bit petite (5'4'') so I thought I might need to tape-hem it, but it was really a good length. I did use some fashion tape to keep the inner shell in place on top. That worked fine. I danced my butt off in this too -- the arms were tight, but didn't really hold me back.

Hands on, the best dress i have ever worn. I felt great-- super form fitting and flattering. Beautiful lines, and the back was amazing. Wish I had a reason to wear it every day!

I rented this for a rehearsal dinner that my husband was part of. After renting for 4 years, I finally got a brand new dress! The sleeves were a little snug when I first put it on but the lace quickly gave a little and it was perfect the rest of the night. Great classy dress and I felt sexy all night. Wish I could buy this one, one of my favorite rentals!

Wore this dress for my wedding rehearsal dinner. I am 5'8" and about 135 lbs (slim but not fit/toned). The 4 fit better in the body (I am small in the ribs and have wider hips) but the sleeves were too tight on my arms so I ended up wearing the 6, which fit pretty well also. I think the dress was new and may not have been previously worn so the sleeves were still very tight and rigid. I didn't end up wearing a bra (more because I was running late and had already gotten my arms into the sleeves) but definitely could have worn a strapless or stick-ons (def had the room) but braless was fine too. I almost wasn't able to wear this dress because of the tight sleeves in both sizes but it worked out okay and they loosened up a bit throughout the night so I would just take that into consideration if thinking about renting it. Otherwise, it's a great dress and I received a lot of compliments. Not as shimmery as in the model pictures but fantastic pattern. One last note, I didn't wear Spanx because the underneath material of the dress kept getting twisted due to the friction between materials as I moved and then all of the dress lines were off. This also ended up being fine as well since there is a texture to the dress and the lines give you a great defined, flattering waistline. More comfortable without the Spanx anyway!

This was not my first choice dress. I was originally afraid that the length would make me look shorter than I already am, in addition to shortening my legs. I hoped that the design of the dress would make up for it and it more than did. The design and fit were flattering and looked unique and unlike anything I have ever worn. Needless to say, there was no other dress remotely similar to this at the wedding. As far as sizing, I was an 8 solely on the basis of my hips. The dress has no stretch so if you are curvy like me, you will have to size up. This is why I think it runs small. The dress did not sag or fit loose on me and usually in size 8 dresses there are areas that I do not completely fill out. Even so, I have no complaints or qualms with this dress. I absolutely loved it and felt beautiful and stylish in it. I do want to mention something about RTR: On the day before I was to receive the dress, I received an email saying that the size 8 was damaged and I would have to choose a replacement by 5pm. I freaked out because 2 days before a December event, there was not much to choose from. I received another communication from RTR around 2pm telling me that there was a glitch in the system and they would let me know if I needed to choose another dress. Indeed, it was a glitch and I received the dress on time and in perfect condition. RTR was so amazing through the process!! They consistently communicated with me and it was obvious that these were people and not automated messages. As if the great service wasn't enough, RTR sent me a Godiva holiday gift in partial apology for the incident. I couldn't be happier with RTR, the service, and the dresses.

I got so many compliments and didn't want to take it off at the end of the night. It is a little snug as other have mentioned. The 12 fit but was tight in the arms, so I opted for the 14. So glad I got it!

Pros: Gorgeous dress and I was the talk of the night. Cons: The dress unfortunately runs small and was extremely tight in the arms.

I didn't end up getting to wear this beauty because the event got cancelled last second but wanted to add a review anyway. Not to sound like a broken record but the ARMS. ARE. TIGHT. The dress runs small overall. I am 5'1 and 115 pounds and went with the size 2. It's really beautiful on and I'll rent it again so I can actually wear it out of the house :-)

Dress was so beautiful and I got so many compliments while wearing it. I sort of wished I had waited for a bigger occasion to wear this stunning dress because now it will be hard to top! - Also rented a little over a month later to wear to celebrate my 30th birthday!

So many compliments on this dress. The back is awesome but you need help getting in and out of it! I have muscular arms so a little tight on me but not uncomfortable.

This dress had a great design and I loved the cut out back detail. This style is perfect if you want something classic with a unique twist. I would recommend going with your true size and to go up a size in back up. Also, a strapless bra is perfect to avoid showing any straps! The overall dress if form fitting but comfortable!

Not the best choice If you want to really bust a move on the dance floor bc of the fit around the arms but overall a very elegant dress!

Classic yet unique dress with flattering cut. Great length for cocktail dress or benefit. Open back is stunning. Little to no give in the arms with the lace covering so recommend sizing up (usually wear a 4 and a 6 was form fitting). Built for small chest.

Wore this for a date to a fancy restaurant and it was understated enough for NYC but the details made me feel beautiful. A memorable dress! Right around the midsection and buttoning the top 2 buttons were tricky. Love this dress though.

This dress is very fitted, but with no stretch. I got the 0 & 2, wore the 2. Couldn't get the 0 even on really. The 2 fit well, but I couldn't lift my arms past making a low 'V', because there's no give in the underarm area. It's sheer lace up top & the arms, but lined with a nude liner through the bodice. The lace does not stretch. But I have to say, I still loved it. I felt sexy but sophisticated. Wore black stilettoes & carried my nude patent wristlet clutch. Hubby planned dinner at my fave upscale restaurant, then he surprised me with a bowling party with all our friends at a new hot spot that is more like an edgy hipster bar with a dj, bowling, shuffle board, & other old school games! Completely threw me, since I was still in this dress. LOL! But that's ok. It just made it more fun, even if I was wearing bowling shoes.

The dress was beautiful but busty ladies beware, it shows a lot of cleavage and side boob. I wasn't able to wear a bra because of the low cut back, so I used fashion tape to pull the dress up and expose less cleavage. Like everyone else mentioned, sleeves are tight (but, hey, what do you expect out of sleeves made out of lace). Also, I wore a size up. I normally wear 6 but 8 fit better. Overall, great experience!

I loved this dress! My only complaint is the size and the lack of stretch. I usually wear a 6, but had to wear an 8 and even then the sleeves were too tight and the lining at the hem kept scrunching up. Overall it was a beautiful dress that I wished I could keep.

I'm tall and it fit my curves well. The one thing that was annoying is the dress kept twisting around my body so I kept having to go to the ladies room to tug it back in place. This was my 1st experience with RTR. I placed the order using the app on Friday and it arrived Saturday!!! Excellent service! I will use them again!!!!

The dress ran small, so I was glad that I requested the extra size up at no additional cost. The underlining gathered a bit in the front, so I had to keep pulling it down, but the dress looked great on.

The fit runs a little small. I normally wear a size 4 and a 6 was questionable if it would zip! I also have athletic, muscular arms and the sleeves were very snug. There isn't much give in the lace sleeves, so something to take note of! The length was perfect, hit just above the knee with a slit in the back.

I took a chance of this dress... it was not my normal style and my backup didn't fit, so this was it. I liked it, but didn't love it. A lot of fashion tape was required to ensure the top stayed up and my chest stayed covered. The sleeves were exceptionally long and I used a little fashion tape there as well. It was not the easiest dress to move around in. Certainly not for dancing, more for standing and looking pretty.

I wore the dress to a black tie Holiday Gala with a good friend and client. It definitely runs about a size small, and as others say the arms are very unforgiving, but going up a size fixed the issue for me. It is elegant, and offers a subtle sexiness as well. The back is also gorgeous, so I wore a side ponytail to show it off! Enjoy!

Overall, I really loved this dress and received many compliments. Because the back is open, you can't wear a regular or strapless bra with it, but this was no issue for me. The length is perfect for a formal or business occasion. My one complaint about the dress is that the sleeves are a bit tight. I could only raise my hands so far above my head (making fixing my hair and awkward-white-girl-arm-up dancing limited activities). By the end of the night (I wore it for a solid 12 hours), the fabric was really irritating around the inner elbow area . In addition, I COULD NOT get into or out of this dress without the help of another person. I almost needed a 4 at the top and a 0 at the bottom.

I ordered this dress for a friend's birthday celebration. It definitely runs small as I normally wear a 12 and the 14 was a little snug. The cut of the dress fell perfectly on my body shape and complimented my curves. This is a great dress to fit all body sizes. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was due to the restriction of the dress at my knees. It was difficult to dance in the slightest way with how tight the dress was below my hips. Otherwise, fantastic dress!

I loved the lace detail over the fitted bodice. The sleeves added the perfect modesty yet still sexy for a more conservative crowd. I got compliments all night. The dress fit true to size. The only con was you definitely need help with the buttons in the back and I was very cautious putting the sleeves on because they are very delicate. But this dress was a winner!!!!

This dress fit great! I have a larger rib cage and hips and it fit perfect everywhere. Everyone complimented me and said it was very flattering.

This dress was exceptional and unexpected. This was my backup dress and not something I would normally pick for myself, but it flattered by body so well, how could I pass it up? I'm normally between a 4 and a 6, this 6 fit like a glove (not a sausage, but a graceful,elegant glove). I wore a sticky backless/strapless bra because my girls always need the extra support. The back of the dress is pretty exciting too (again not my usual "pick") but I'm glad I went with it because from behind it does a great job of accentuating an hourglass figure. The lace has no give, so your arms do have a limited range of motion- but I was able to push my way through the throngs of people inside Vegas nightclubs with a drink in my hand with no issues.

I rented this dress for an award and benefit dinner gor a non-profit. I wanted something conservative enough for the crowd but still sexy/age appropriate. It was quite comfortable and I received tons of compliments from all ages! Notes: i typically wear 2 or 4. I wore 4 in this (reviews suggested sleeves were tight!) the 4 fit okay, 2 may have fit a little better but the shoulders may have been too snug in that size for me. I didnt wear a bra with it fyi. Wore black pumps.

I only marked that this dress runs small because I have a 32DD bust and it seemed to fit tight at the back where the zipper ended. However everywhere else fit just right! It's a beautiful dress. Wore it to a friend's birthday party at the club. Got so many compliments!

I wore this dress for my 30th birthday. I'm 5'4 and about 125lbs, 34B cup. My body type is slender (not much going on up top or down below), I followed other reviewers recommendations and ordered a size up (I usually wear a 4, but ordered a 6 and 8 for my backup size). The 6 fit well with some room to spare. The arms were a bit snug but manageable for me, but my arms are on the skinny side so I can see how the material would be annoying for someone w/ a little more meat on their arms. That being said, the dress is absolutely gorgeous. Photos don't do the lace pattern justice- its a truly stunning dress! I felt amazing in it. It walks the conservative/sexy line so well, I can see it being appropriate for a wide variety of events. Will rent again!
