This dress is stunning. Super flattering and gives anyone an amazing shape. It runs small so beware. The train is gorgeous; it makes the dress. I wore this to my prom and received nonstop compliments all night. I wish I could've bought this, it's a total princess gown. The only issue was the bottom of the dress is kind of big and I had to be careful on the dance floor so that it didn't get stepped on.

Hips a bit loose but any tighter would have been hard to walk and sit. Relatively short, had to wear short heels and dress barely reached the ground in the front.

Picked this dress for my step-son's wedding. It is perfect Mother of the Groom dress. This is my second rental from RTR and I’m totally thrilled again. Both times I rented a ML dress. I just love this designer. Fit is perfect. Dress is so beautiful. I had no trouble walking or sitting. Even though dress is very form fitting I was so comfortable in it all night. I received many compliments. I would recommend this dress. Just gorgeous.

This dress fit great - it didn't feel like it was going to fall down every time I moved. It was a little tight in the butt, but I'm a little more curvy there so it may not be a problem for other girls. I received many, many compliments on this dress and never wanted to take it off for the whole event!

This dress definitely runs on the smaller side. The fabric is not forgiving and has no stretch. I worn spanx under the dress and without them it would NOT have fit. I wore the bigger of the two sizes I requested. It's a lighter weight material, it was not uncomfortable to walk around in all night. I really enjoyed wearing it and I got tons of compliments.

One word...STUNNING!! This gown was absolutely beautiful and the color was so vibrant and eye catching....a real head turner. I ordered one size up from my usual size like several other reviews suggested, because of being a little bustier, and so glad I did. The bottom was a little loose because it was a size larger than I normally wear, but still looked great and fitted. Love RTR...couldn't be happier. This dress style is a classic hourglass and made me feel like a million bucks. It was perfect for a 1950s theme, but so classically beautiful it works for any formal occasion. The small "train" really punches up the formality of the dress. I fall between regular and long length styles for rental at 5'7" and I was able to wear a 3" heel with the regular length dress. My bust size is rather large, so if you're small chested, you won't have a problem keeping the dress up because of how well it fits through the waist, but it will probably gap quite a bit at the bust. I normally wear a size 12 dress, but the 14 was comfortable enough to wear although I probably could have fit into a 12 as well. The 14 was my only option and it was roomy in across my tummy which is usually a problem area for me. I would own this dress if I could afford it!

RTR IS FANTASTIC. I rented this dress for my senior prom. This is my first time renting and this is the best customer service I've ever had! The dress runs a little small so I would order size bigger as a backup. I am 5'5 and had 4 inch heels. It was short but showed my heels a little which I liked. It was easy to dance in as it was the perfect height when I took off my heels. I got so many compliments from my classmates like "you look stunning" and "you look amazing!" My boyfriend said I took his breath away! Highly recommend this site and this dress! Hope this helped.

This dress is amazing and I felt amazing in it! There is a built in bra, but I also wore a strapless that gave me a little extra support. I got so many compliments from strangers in this dress it's definitely glamorous and elegant. The back is stunning as well.

I was very glad that I utilized the chat service because I'm usually a Size 12. The 14 was extremely perfect. Not only that, they got it to me so quickly! My backup dress was gorgeous as well (a gold Monique Hueller, I believe it was), but this one was exactly right for the classic Hollywood beauty I was going for. It definitely accentuated my hourglass figure and the bottom was so beautiful as well. I usually worry about strapless gowns because my boobs are pretty heavy (lol), but this was totally fine! Everything was held in together nicely, and I never felt like anything was bulging out anywhere. It was such a great experience and I'll always rent for our future functions! My boyfriend and I were on vacation in New York City the weekend before the submarine birthday ball, so I got the chance to visit the store in person and make sure I was getting the right size. The experience was awesome. It was easy and fun!! While I was there we tried on a lot of things found exactly what I wanted. Then the assistant ordered it for me right there in the shop making sure I got the best price. A week later my dresses arrived at the door ready to use! I pulled them right out of the box and danced the night away! The dress itself was so stunning! It for like a glove and I felt so beautiful and elegant. I got compliments all night long especially with the little train in the back. I had random strangers come up to me to compliment the dress as well! The color was fabulous and matched my dates uniform so well. Overall the experience and the dress was spot on and I will definitely be using rent the runway again!!

The dress was gorgeous I loved the color. I had to wear the 6R, because it ran a little small and the zipper was the hardest thing to make go up. But overall I loved the dress, my little train and everything !

I'm between sizes right now, but didn't want to risk it with the 10 after the reviews said it fits a bit tight. The 12L wasn't too tight, and I did have to wear a strapless bra to keep the dress up. Length was perfect with 3 inch heels.

I cannot say enough about this dress. I wore it for our annual "ladyfriend Oscar party". The color is a fantastic rich blue, but would never be mistaken for black. The detail on the bodice is spectacular, and the mermaid architecture floats across the floor. My friends literally gasped when they first laid eyes upon me. I now know that this silhouette is meant for my figure - small but curvy. If you are looking to stand out for all the right reasons - search no more. And by the way, as we were watching the Oscars, the woman responsible for carrying the Oscar envelopes was wearing THIS DRESS. It is a true red carpet masterpiece.

It fits like a glove. I am 5'8'' so the Long was needed. The regular length would have hit at my ankles. It is very fitted on top so I could not wear a bra under. But I loved how it fit! I wear a 4 in most clothing and the 4 did fit for me.

Rent this. Immediately. This was my backup gown and I ended up wearing it. Fit my bust and ribs like it was made for me (it's more of a corset fit, so it can make it difficult to take a deep breath, FYI). I NEVER feel secure in strapless dresses because I'm slim but have a NATURAL 32DD chest, but this was snug as a bug. I needed no undergarments with this, besides underwear, which was so nice! It was a little roomy in the hip area, which is needed so you can sit down comfortably. Tons and tons of compliments. Strangers stopped me in my tracks to say how elegant and stunning this gown was. The fabric is thick and very high quality. I'm 5'7" and got the 0 regular, but I wore flats and it was the PERFECT length

I thought it was a little snug but I loved the gown and felt beautiful in it. I would definitely use rent the runway again. I live the idea and love not having a closet full of gowns I will prob never wear again. It came on time and was super easy to return.

I loved this dress. It was perfect for a black tie wedding. Train was a good length, although a few people did step on the back of my dress. Worn with 4.5 inch heels and it was maybe 1 inch still too long for my liking. Boning held up the dress well, although I had to wear a strapless bra to help fill in the bust. I normally wear size 4, but the 6 was more comfortable to breathe in. Boning also made spanx unnecessary which was also nice not having any extra bulk under there. Great rental!

This dress is absolutely beautiful and fit perfectly. I received continuous comments all night on it. My shoes kept getting stuck on the inside lining, which made it hard to walk up and down stairs, but that was the only drawback, other than people stepping on the dress because of the fullness at the bottom. It was hard to navigate in a crowded room, so I would not recommend it for an event where you will be in a room packed with people. But I have to reiterate, this dress is gorgeous and fit like a glove. I would usually be a size 0, but the dress was not available in a 0 long, so I got the 2L and it was perfect. I am extremely happy with Rent the Runway's service and will plan to rent all of my formal dresses in the future as well as enrolling in the monthly rental program. Their selection has become so extensive, they seem to have everything I would ever need. I love this company!

The train was often stepped on and sitting in the dress was a challenge.

We were at the North American Auto Show and there were many people mingling.... the train got stepped on a couple of times as a result. Many, many compliments however!

This absolutely beautiful gown is a deep navy blue color. It's dark enough that the details of the gown's craftmanship don't photograph well, but they're quite visible in person. The material had a lovely sheen, but was not "shiny." (It reminded me of a silk shantung.) The gown is well built with internal boning and extra support, which for me meant that no bra was needed. Even without a bra, it stayed up all night with no problem. Not once did I find myself tugging on the my strapless dress. I'm built like a rectangle - very straight up and down - but this gown gave the illusion of curves. It was a little loose through the hips and snug through the bust. However, the next size up (12L) was huge through the hips, so I went with the 10L. As to length, I would have liked to have worn heels, but the dress was not long enough (I didn't want my shoes to be visible), so I stuck with flats. (In hindsight, it was awesome to wear flats as I was standing, walking, or dancing all night.) I got tons of compliments from both friends and strangers, and my husband thought that I looked gorgeous. You can't ask for better than that! Thanks RTR! (Side note: I also rented the necklace and earrings from RTR and that worked out great as well!)

The dress was an almost perfect fit. I am a B cup it is more of a C cup. I did not wear a bra which would have helped however, the dress such a perfect fit in all the other areas, I did not feel the need to try to emphasize the boobs, Strapless dresses should fit snug or you will be tugging it up all night, especially if you like to dance.I danced the night away without any issues. As you can see from the photos my sister and I both rented dresses from RTR. I will definitely utilize the services again. I have several functions coming up where I will be styling RTR!

This dress was amazing! I originally ordered the 4R, but I could zip it all the way due to my bustline. The dress was very comfortable all night, moved great to dance in, and looked simply stunning! I wore 3 inch heels and used a little wardrobe tape in the front of the dress.

I rented the size 8 and 10. I was able to wear both, but felt more comfortable in the 10. The dress needed no steaming. It was perfect out of the box. The dress felt amazing and easy to get on. There is no loosing in this dress as it is designed to make anyone look amazing !!! I would highly recommend this dress and I'll be renting it again.

My first RTR experience was fantastic! I wore this dress to a Debutante Ball and received compliments the entire night. The back of the dress has a slight train and the color was gorgeous. I'm about 6 feet tall and wore the dress with flats, which worked great for me. I'm usually a 4 L, but the dress was a little snug, as it is a mermaid fit. I ended up wearing the 6 L and it fit like a glove! I would highly recommend this dress!
