This is a FANTASTIC dress. I am a curvy 4 and it fit well, except bodice was a tiny bit loose.

This dress was, in a word, stunning. I've rented many beautiful dresses from RTR, but this one took the cake- I got compliments all night, and my husband said I looked the best he'd ever seen me. I was a little bit worried about the trumpet-like skirt as I am definitely a pear-shaped girl, but this was elegant and not overwhelming. LOVED IT and highly recommend.

Even with 4.5in heels there was about 1in of material dragging in the front. However, it is because i am so petite (5ft) and the 4R was more fitting than my usual 2R on the waist. The 2R would have fit better as dress length. I recommend getting a size up as backup, and using fashion tape if the front is still lengthy. One inch was not a problem for me, i just picked it up if i needed to. Everyone was complimenting the dress. The color really stands out. I kept with a simple jewelry and hair do because the dress is definitely the statement piece.

This was the perfect dress for a black tie wedding! Everything about it was beautiful - the fuschia color, the hourglass/mermaid fit, the ruched bodice, and the flowy bottom. It went extremely well with the Slate and Willow "Take the Throne" necklace. The only negatives I can think of were that, with all the layers, it was a bit hot dancing, and with ~3 inch heels, I did trip over the bottom a few times. I would recommend higher heels. Other than that, everything was perfect! We'll definitely rent from here again! Plus I recommended Rent the Runway to many others. The company was very easy to deal with.

Ordered this gown for our military ball and although I had some issues, customer service was top notch! The dress runs true to size although the chest ran too small to wear a strapless bra with it. No bra needed... This dress is very flattering. I'm 5'3 120lbs 34D and it fit great except the length was still a bit long. I wore 5 inch heels which worked just right. The compliments rolled in all night!

Love the magenta color. Dress is great for hour-glass shape. I wore the 2r because it fit more smoothly over my midsection & bust, whereas the 4r was slightly looser in those areas. Fairly easy to walk, sit, dance... Overall, highly recommended!

Not only is this dress beautiful, but it is so flattering! I'm not very curvy, but it made me look like I had hips, and I loved it! I'm 5'2, 110 lbs, and a 32C. I will say it runs a little small if you have more on top than the average person. I figured I'd be a 0R, but they only had the 2R for the date I needed it. I was shocked to find that the 2R was perfect. I never would've been able to zip the 0. I wore 5 inch heels & the dress was the perfect length! I absolutely loved this dress! I would recommend this dress to anyone & everyone! I had random people coming up to me all night & complimenting me on the dress. I wish I could wear it again! I LOVED the dress. I dont have much of shape and it made my figure look beautiful. It does run a bit small so I recommend sizing up.

I am 5'11" and 132 lbs, I ordered a size 4L and a 2L. The 2 was definitely too small, the 4 was perfect. It was a little hard to zip through the rib area and maybe a little big through the hips but overall just perfect. The length was great without shoes but I could not wear heels. I found a really cute pair of dressy sandals that worked great. I would pick this dress over again, just amazing!

This is the second time I have used RTR and I have to say I am a huge fan! I ran into some snags initially when my original dress (this red Monique Lhullier) was unavailable at the last minute in my requested size of 10R due to a previous renter having returned it in poor condition. RTR was unable to get a hold of me to select a different dress myself, so picked a similar dress they thought I would like and shipped that instead. I contacted RTR when I discovered the shipment was on its way and advised that even though the back up they'd chosen was beautiful (a black Badgley Mishka), that I highly doubted it would fit based on my full thighs vs the description/reviews of the dress. My stylist, Zoe, was so helpful and wanted to make sure I had exactly what I needed when she heard my concern. She even helped me with additional backups just in case my back up still didn't work. She was extremely timely and responsive, and although my timeframe was dwindling down for a substitution, I had no fear I wouldn't be covered since Zoe made it clear she was doing everything she could to get the new items to me as soon as possible. One of the dresses I selected as a back up was a larger size of my original dress choice--this ML in red, but in a 12R. I was nervous that it would be much too large in the bust, even though I am a 38D, based on other reviews I had read. It was very generous in the bust once I'd received it and tried it on, but I was able to pin it just right from the inside to ensure a snug fit. I am only 5'3" and the regular length with 4 1/2 inch heels worked perfectly. The dress had so much personality! I lost track of how many compliments I received throughout the evening. The dress was comfortable and definitely enhanced when you naturally have curves--someone with an hourglass shape or pear shape would rock this look. The only con besides needing to pin it for a snug fit was the occasional feel of needing to pull it up and back into place to ensure my cleavage was never too much. Although I am not one to repeat a dress, I would definitely rent this one again, but in a 10R. It truly is stunning and very easy to wear.

This dress was way too long on me and I had the 0 regular( even with 3.5 inch heels). The bust was also huge, so I had to light stitch hem the bottom and I also safety pinned and sewed the top of the bust to better fit my small chest. In the end it looked fine, but I think this dress is best for bustier girls. The rest of the dress fit true to size. I'm 5'4, 110 lbs, 32b.

Dress is great for a girl with an hour glass!! Hugged my curves just the way I like!! :) just beware it is a bit tighter in the hips.

The fit of this dress was great! I went with the 2R and felt pretty comfortable all night. I gave 4 stars because the initial 2R I received needed a repair and had been fixed by the last renter with a giant safety pin. Not exactly the look I was going for. However, the customer service was great and they overnighted me a second 2R. This one was pretty good...only a few minor issues (ripped lining in a few places) but externally it was good to go! I received a ton of compliments and look forward to renting again!

Rented this dress to emcee a pageant. It was gorgeous! Until about halfway through the pageant when the gathering at the knee came undone and I had to pin it back up! Still I adored the dress and got tons of compliments :)

The color is beautiful. The dress wasn't in the best shape when I received it. Many of the darts on the fabric were missing or had come undone so therefore several of the "folds" on the dress weren't tacked down. Other than that the dress was beautiful and fit true to size.

It's a beautiful color but for me it ran large. I am a 36DDD and it was still too loose in the bust. My backup size was one size down but it wasn't sent due it not being returned on time. Luckily my replacement dress was phenomenal.

While I loved the dress and received numerous compliments, there were 2 major disappointments. The first was one was the hemming job. I am very short so definitely needed to get the dress hemmed. I went on Thursday before the event and waited 30 minutes for the seamstress who took a different lunch break (430-5pm) than what is advertised (4-430pm). The RTR staff was extremely apologetic and felt bad that I was waiting for 30+ minutes. Luckily, my office is a few blocks away and it was late in the day so it ended up not being a big deal. When the seamstress finally came and was pinning my dress for the hem, we talked about how she would also hem the lining and the tulle under the dress (obviously right). Since we had explicitly discussed this, I didn't check the dress when I picked it up the next day. On Saturday (day of my friend's wedding), I was absolutely shocked to see the lining had NOT been hemmed. It was an hour before I was supposed to be at the venue and so in a panicked frenzy, I began to pin the lining and tulle myself, but it was just so difficult to do and kept sticking out from under my dress. I kept tripping over it and it definitely was in the way most of the night. Although it was not noticeable by most people unless they stepped on it, was a disappointment. The second thing was that there were wires coming out of the top part of the dress (i.e. the bust area) and they kept poking me!! It was uncomfortable and painful at times and looked weird when I was sticking my hands in my dress from the top to adjust and push the wires away.

Wore the dress for a gala. The size was bigger than normal so I looked heavier with the additional fabric. Otherwise, the color has a wonderful fuscia undertone which made the dress stand out. Plus, the bustle in the front was not attached when I got the dress, but I managed to do a mock up with safety pins.

I rented this gown for a James Bond holiday party and received compliments all night! The 6L fit like a glove and was a little tough to get on, but I felt comfortable once I had it on and started the evening. Very flattering gown!

The gown fit very snug, especially around the waist and bust. It was easy to walk in, and the perfect length! I'm 5'3" and wore 3 1/2" heels, and my shoes showed just enough to be fashionable, but I did not trip over any extra fabric. The ruffles in the fabric were beautiful and hugged my curves just right. This dress really made me look curvy, even though I have an athletic build!

Fit was true to size. Had to safety pin the bust area due to that running a little big, but other than that the dress fit like a glove! I was worried that by ordering a R (L was unavailable) it wouldn't be long enough, but with nude flats it was perfect and my feet didn't show at all! Received many compliments and truly felt beautiful in it!

I'm 5'6 and it was a little short in length, if you're my height or taller I'd suggest going with the long if you plan to wear a decent heel (say, over an inch). Little roomy in the chest area, but a nice padded bra should do the trick. The two was tiny so I went with the four and it fit very nicely.

Fit very true to size, if not a little small. I had to wear the larger size because the seam was pulled out from the front of the dress, resulting in a very odd front train before I realized what was going on. Absolutely gorgeous, but be careful walking in the dress because easy to catch a shoe and pull out.

There are no words to describe how hard I fell in love with this gown. The color is so vibrant and it shows off your curves like no other. If you have an hourglass figure, like I do, give yourself an ego boost and rent this dress! Sizing can be a bit tricky; I tried on the 10 and the 8(long) in the store. The 10 was too big and the 8 fit like a glove, but only the 6 was available for the day that I needed it. After two weeks of watching what I ate and hitting the gym, the 6 worked out perfectly and I felt like I was worth a billion dollars!

Dress fit like a glove in the 4R with a strapless bra underneath. I'm a 32DD--the bra was needed despite the well made bodice. The 6R was too big all over. I'm 5'4" and wore the regular with flats. Loved it! So much more comfortable than heels and could dance all night. Lots of compliments!Material is beautiful. Great dress! Both sizes had tricky zippers. The gathers on the front (knee level)fell off before I even left the house and required quick repair before the event.

The dress is lovely and fits well. I'm a 32 C and the bust was a little big. The butt was flattering. It was overall pretty flattering. I'd recommend it but wear comfortable heels because when you take them off to dance in flip flops, the train drags on the ground.

I'm 5'10 and I ordered a long. it was wayy too short, couldn't even get away with wearing flat shoes. It was a gorgeous dress, but not for anyone over 5'9 unless you want your feet showing

I did not wear this dress, thank goodness I ordered a back up!! The style just does nothing for your figure and it was a little too puffy for me at the bottom. I also did not really like the color at all. Just not my best pick on here.

The dress runs small in the bust area. The size 4 fit perfect around hips, waist, but could not get it to zip up at top. Very small bust and no stretch in the material. Had to return it.

This dress is gorgeous and was a perfect fit. If it had not been for a couple of food stains on the top pf the dress when I received it, I would have worn it but instead I ended up wearing the back-up dress. I ordered the 8L even though I typically wear an 8R because I wanted the dress to touch the floor like the model's dress. I am glad I did because it touched the floor perfectly and did not show my shoes. I was disappointed I couldn't wear it- it would have been a great dress to wear if it was clean!

This dress is absolutely stunning! Unfortunately I couldn't wear it as the next size up was not available. A couple notes on the dress- first off I thought it was RED as that's how it looks on my screen. Its not red, but a beautiful shade of fuchsia. The size issue was quite frankly, one that I have never had before- usually I have issues with fit in my hip area. This dress fit perfectly through the hips; I could not, for the life of me, get the zipper up past my chest. I could get it to the top of my ribs, but there was NO WAY it was going further. I'm a 34c so I usually don't have issues with tops. otherwise, I would try this dress again, but maybe two sizes larger

The fit was great, and it made me look extremely tall and skinny. The only problem was getting the folds to lay right. Some of the stitching that held the folds were broken making them lay funny.
