I got so many compliments from this dress, I bought for a personal attendant dress and it was perfect! It runs a little small and tight around the arms/chest if you're a little bigger. I sized up and it was perfect!

Classic and elegant

I liked this dress because I have a larger chest, smaller waist and curvy hips and this dress just made. it. happen. I didn't need spanx because I decided on the tights last minute when a random snowstorm hit the town the afternoon of the event. The dress is thick enough though, if you need to wear the spanx. I got lots of compliments on the lace. I would rent this dress again!

The sleeves are delicate and a little restricting, but I was still able to move around and dance all night. The fit is perfect and the lace isn't nearly as see through as the picture suggests. Make sure you wear the appropriate bra, and test it in different lighting! The cut out wasn't completely see-through, but I noticed in some pictures I could see my bra. I'm the only one who noticed, but it is still something to keep in mind.

This dress was overnighted to me when there was a problem with my original dress. I was a little hesitant about the dress for a wedding from the picture on RTR because of how see through it appears; however, the dress is very appropriate in person. It is still see through, but only slightly. This is a comfy dress, but you may not be able to lift your arms over your head if you want to dance.

I received this dress in an 8 & 10, and since I usually have to get dresses for my hips I went with the 10. The 10 fit like a glove. I could raise my arms no problem and this dress was comfortable to sit in. Like one other reviewer mentioned the top is not sheer like the sleeves at all. You can see that in my photos. I was able to wear a regular bra under here. (My real bra size is 32DDD.) This dress made me feel very elegant and it was perfect for my company Holiday party at an aquarium.

I specifically wanted a dress with sleeves and this was perfect. The lace cutout in the front is not as visible as on the model, which was what I was hoping. It was a little tight in sleeves but that didn't bother me. Overall great dress that I felt comfortable in all night.

Loved this dress! It did run a little small on top - if you have a bigger chest or broader shoulders you should size up - there is zero stretch up top. Bottom has a little stretch. I ordered the 6 and 8 and went with the 8 as it was a better fit in the arms and shoulders.

This dress is extremely comfortable. I didn't need I wear a bra and the bottom is stretch fabric so with a pair of spanx I could move around all night with no discomfort. I felt classy and not too exposed for a conservative company's holiday party. Would rent again!

This dress was an absolute dream to wear. It was incredibly comfortable and easy to move around in. I was a little worried it was going to be too short for me, but it wasn't at all! It was exactly what I was looking for, very classy and I didn't feel like I was showing off too much skin. This is a classic piece and for the price, I couldn't have found a better dress to wear on such short notice!

This dress was very comfortable although it did not fit exactly the way I wanted to. It's a nice dress but it was not very complimentary to my shape. I think this would be better suited for someone with a few more curves. Overall, it's a nice dress, just not for me.

I felt beautiful in this dress. It has lovely sleeves and feels lux. I'm glad I got the backup bigger size, because the size 2 was way too small on the top. I am straight and narrow, and the 4 was fine on the top but I bit big through the hips and butt on the bottom. I am glad I ordered this dress, but I was hoping for a little more of a cutout look in the front, like on the model. It was hardly sheer at all in the front by the chest. I probably should have gone with a little bit more "young" look, maybe a little shorter, more sparkle, or more edge, because I was a tad underwhelmed with how "safe" this dress felt. If classic, glamorous, and timeless are what you're after though, this is a great choice.

I love this designer but this wasn't my favorite dress that I have worn. However I did like it. Pros: true to size, bottom of dress is stretchy and lace arms are stretch. Not too tight. Cons: dress twisted a lot with spanx worn underneath and there are no cups in the dress. I wore breast cups vs strapless and it wasn't comfortable. I think if there were cups with in the dress it would have fit better. I did like this dress and felt sexy and confident in it, and did receive a lot of compliments. Just not my all time favorite. (Sorry, the only full body pic I have is kinda silly.) This was my first RTR experience and I was so pleased. All in all it was very comfortable and classy yet a little bit sexy! I usually wear a size 2, but I got a size 0 as my backup, and ended up wearing the 0. I have a decent sized tush, so I was glad that the bottom half of the dress had some stretch. It wasn't super tight, but just tight enough. My only complaint is that the lace arms/shoulders have no stretch, so I couldn't raise my arms above my shoulders! Not a big deal, but restricted my dancing a little bit.The bit of lace in between your boobs is not quite as see through as it appears on the model. I felt completely comfortable without a bra, and I'm a large B/small C.

I loved this dress. It fit me perfectly. I am pretty curvy but it fit perfect. It was a little tough to dance in but I made it work! I got a lot of compliments! I would rent this again

Wore to a winter wedding in December. Was very happy and had no complaints! Wore a black bra underneath and you could never tell the chest was slightly sheer.

Wore this to a rustic wedding in upstate NY. The sleeves restrict your movement a little (hard to raise the roof) but went for more "classy" dance moves as a result. Was comfortable to wear. Got many compliments.

Fit like a glove! I have more of an athletic build and when first putting it on I thought my shoulders might be too broad for the dress but it *just* fit so my CrossFit athletic friends out there you might want to go size up or different dress all together. I feel like if I went size up and would of been too big everywhere else. Love the top of the dress very pretty, below the bust is a comfortable but plain black material which is great for me but if you like a lot of detail throughout it might leave you underwhelmed. Overall very pretty, felt sexy with it showing my curves, and it was so comfortable! Lots of compliments all night! I would normally wear a 12/14, but I had to wear the backup size 16. Other than that, the fit is very flattering, and the sleeves are made of good quality lace material that does not snag easily. I would rent it again!

I loved this dress! The lace is elegant, not Halloween-ish. The center segment isn't very obvious, more of your own fun secret. While it's form fitting, the separation in materials is forgiving and flattering (I'm a mom of two so that's a must for me). It's not too short, perfect for a formal event, but skip if you're looking for a Vegas dress. I got tons of compliments and felt confident in it all night (plus it's comfortable!).

I've had several fails with designer dresses from a size factor. I recently lost 10 lbs on a new workout & eating plan, and knew I had to have this for the wedding we were attending. It fit like a glove and was SO COMFY! I loved the zippers at the wrists so the sleeves weren't super tight. The sleeves WERE delicate though and had signs of lots of wear so I had to be extra careful when lifting or reaching, but overall I LOVED this dress & was super sad to have to give it back! I would absolutely rent again!

I LOVED this dress so much that I wish i could buy it! It hugged in all the right spots and i felt so amazing in this dress. The slit wasnt as sheer as i thought it would be... but be careful wearing a bra because in some photos you definitely can see it. Definitely a great dress! I wore it for my birthday but good for any occasion!

I absolutely loved this dress! I was anxious that the low cut would be too much, the lighting in the photo with the mocel really accentuates the clevage but in evening lighting it was very tasteful. I felt a little uncomfortable at first since this is a little more form fitting than I am used to, but received so many compliments! The material is heavy, and forgiving.

I absolutely loved this dress! I️ rented it for a fall wedding, and it was perfect. I️ rented both the 2 and the 4, but went with the 4 which was more comfortable. The lining of the dress has no give or stretch, so I'd recommend going up a size for your extra dress. Loved the lace details, and I️ was able to get away with not wearing a bra. The sheer detail in the middle of the dress is a fun feature, and it was not noticeable in pictures. Would definitely recommend!

I've rented 4 dresses before this one and this one is by far my favorite. As other commentators noted, the lace sleeves were tight, and I couldn't raise my arms above my shoulders. But, the fit was very flattering (I don't have hips or much of a waist, and I'm busty). I didn't have to wear a bra, which made this very comfortable. My boobs almost didn't fit, but luckily they did because I didn't have a bigger back up size. The peek a boo front was very subtle - sexy! Wore this for a very special night on the town with two other couples.

Runs small, I'm usually a 2 or 4 but I'm glad I read the reviews and sized up because the 4 did not fit my shoulders. The dress is comfy and I received tons of compliments.

I loved this dress. Sorry the picture isn't so great. It was so slimming and sexy and comfortable. Absolutely perfect for my date night in NYC. I'm 5'5" 126 lbs and wore the size 4 ; the 2 also fit, but the 4 provided a little more breathing room.

I wear a size 10 jeans but since I'm pear shaped, I use a 12 and it fit just right. Fabric doesn't stretch so if you have a large chest or curves, go 1 size up. Don't worry about the opening in the front, it's actually covered.

This is a dress that I wish I could keep! Amazing look and fit, and sleeves felt good on me. Some people said they were tight. I can usually swing a size 4, but chose to go with the 6 and it was definitely better! Loved this super sexy yet classy! The skirt did ride up a little, but I wore it with black tights

I rented this dress for an Art Auction. The long, lace sleeves were classy and beautiful. I have small arms and they fit perfect but if you're more muscular or have bigger arms, they may be a little tight. I'm typically a 6, sometimes a 4. The 6 was a little more fitted than I typically wear and called for a replacement but the replacement didn't workout. I ended up wearing this and am glad I did. The shear areas aren't shear at all, as other reviewers have said, but it's still a beautiful classy dress. I would rent again but maybe a size up for comfort!
