The open back is gorgeous, and the dress provides enough coverage to bun and flirty without being too revealing. The back is too low to wear a bra with, but there is enough structure in the dress that I didnt feel like I needed one.

For my first RTR experience, it was a grand slam. The color is stunning. VERY slightly pink hue, which flatters all skin tones. I got so many compliments it was awesome! Very few women wore red to the event, so I definitely stood out (was known as "the lady in red" the whole night). The fit was great and the length was what I expected, thank god, being on the tall side. The back comes a little low where it'll show a bit of your back bra band. There's also really no way to hide bra straps with this dress. You'll need either a) strapless bra with a low back strap converter, b) backless bra/stick-on bra, or c) no bra. I believe from so much use and dry cleaning, the underlining is now longer than the lace at the hem. If that's an issue for you, use some dress tape to fold up the hem. It didn't bother me so I left it as-is. I did also wear Spanx underneath, but that's up to your discretion. I can't wait for my next RTR experience!

Dress was amazing. I received several compliments. Wore it to my cousin's wedding. It well with a conservative crowd but allowed me show a little extra style with the keyhole back.

Runs a little large. I usually wear a 2/4 but other reviews noted this being somewhat small; I found it to be true to large actually. Thick enough material that you don't need a bra. Sexy, but classy; got many compliments.

soft, comfortable, beautifully fitted. A little large in the chest for my cup size, but a nu bra filled things in nicely and kept the back of the dress open. My only critique: I had to sit for an extended period of time at the event and the inner lining got some creases in it, mildly annoying, but it still looked great!

I love how it fit! The hooks on the back were stretched out, but I was able to work with it. Overall fit was flattering, and I received a ton of compliments from strangers. Size seemed to run small in the waist/ribcage, as I generally wear a 4.

I loved everything about this dress! The color is so beautiful and I loved the modest top for my bigger chest while having the open back. It was comfortable and the thicker fabric felt really supportive in the top and throughout the bodice. Monique luhllier can do no wrong!

I received so many compliments. I couldn't wear a bra because the back was too open to hide the straps, but you couldn't tell that I didn't have one on. The dress was a little longer than I would have liked, but I'm 5'4, so genetics. ;)

The dress is great! So many compliments. I wore my own red jacket over it to dress it down for the daytime event we attended. The dress runs small. Normally an 8, but required the 10. The neckline is not as firm as the picture. Had to steam it to stop from flopping forward. Comfortable.

I normally wear a size 2 so I opted to get a 2 and a 0 delivered to me. The 0 was way too snug with a push-up bra (I need a little help from padding or else I look totally flat). I tried on the size 2 and it was actually way tighter in the abdomen than the 0. I could barely breathe, but the upper back was crazy loose. Weird. So I went with the 0 with a strapless bra that had minimal padding. It was still a little snug all night, but not horrible. Got lots of compliments and I felt pretty in it.

This is a gorgeous dress. I rented for a friend's fall wedding and it was perfect. Got tons of compliments. People told me I should wear it everyday, and that it was the best dress at the event (besides the bride of course!). The only minor complaint I had is that it bunches up when you walk, so I had to be sure to smooth out the wrinkles for pictures. I didn't want to return this one, and my fiance asked who made it so he could try to find it online to buy. Would recommend and rent again in a second.

I'm 5'8" 160lbs with a big bum and bust, and a size 10 fit impeccably, really showing off my hourglass shape. I wore without a bra, and the dress supported my size D chest just fine. The boning on the front is slimming, and the lace window in the back is gorgeous. The color is red-pink more than it is red, but no one really made notice (my bf was wearing legitimate red). Loved it!

My sizes in dresses vary depending on the brand and can be anywhere from a 6 to a 10. I'm glad I took the advice of others and went up to a 10 for the 2nd dress. Who cares about the size as long as the dress fits well and looks good!

Rented this dress for my brother-in-laws wedding. It was a fall evening event in the Midwest. I was looking for something stylish but conservative enough to wear in church and around my in-laws and a color to compliment the navy blue tux my husband had to wear as part of the wedding party. This dress fit the bill and was beyond perfect. The fit was flattering and the color was extremely wearable. I don't wear a lot of red but the compliments I received on this dress might change my ways. The lace showed signs of wear in a few places, particularly the armpit area but none of it was visible to others. Helpful hint: I used my hair straightener to flatten out the raw lace edges around the neckline, back opening, and sleeves. This made all the difference in showing off that detail.

I got a lot of compliments on this dress, and another friend at the wedding had on the same dress in blue! I think it fits true to size. I ordered the 8 and the 10, and ended up wearing the 10 as I felt like I had a little bit more wiggle room. Comfortable to wear, and beautiful red color in person. The blue was very nice too! I wore this dress for my future daughter-in-law's Tea Shower. It was perfect for the event. I usually wear a 4, but it was a little tighter than I liked, so I went with the 6. If you are unsure, I would go a size up.I wore a "sticky" bra, and that worked great. Some women may not even need a bra, there is good coverage and support. It seemed a little loose in the neckline, but was not an issue. This is my first Rent the Runway experience, and it was a success. I am renting a dress for the wedding, and I hope it works as well as this!

I ordered two sizes and ended up sizing down. The red was gorgeous! Noticed that the color between two that I received were different. One was faded so I didn't wear that one. Must have been from all the cleanings. Wish I could buy it. LOVED it!

The dress was gorgeous and I got a ton of compliments all night long!! I ended up wearing the six instead of the four because the lace on the back was a little snug on top (no give at all). I wore it for a friends' wedding and the dress was very elegant and classy. It was my first experience with RTR and I loved it. Will definitely be back for more!

I wore this to a wedding in July and it was nice and cool. If you're going to be for the fall/winter season I would say it's not that warm. Definitely a dress that can be worn day-to-night.

This dress was amazing! I wore it to a wedding where I knew no one except my date. The grandmother of the bride kept sending people over to me to see it. So many compliments and I felt so comfortable in it. I wear a size D cup and didn't need to wear a bra (still perky in my late 20's). I wore nude Louboutin shoes (the reds matched very well) and gold jewelry. I had to get help putting it on but it was so worth it! I would absolutely rent this dress again and again.

I rented this for a wedding my husband was in, which happened to fall on our 1 year wedding anniversary weekend. This dress reminded me of my wedding dress with the lace, shoulder detail and the back cut-out so it was perfect for the occasion. I was nervous I'd need to wear spanx or a bra, but didn't need either because the dress hid everything! I used silicone stickies in place of a bra just in case, though. I'm 5'1" and it it right above my knees and was slimming through my hips. It didn't really have a stretchy material, but it wasn't constricting. The color was awesome! I thought it might've been a little bright, but in person, and pictures, it was a deep red-ish burgundy. I wish I owned this dress! Got a ton of compliments all night.
