This dress is gorgeous! I wore this to a close friend's black tie wedding and received numerous comments. Considering how many other beautiful gowns were worn at this event, I was pleasantly surprised at what a hit the dress was! I wasn't sure if I was going to like the flare at the bottom of the dress but it was lovely. Normally, I wear a size 4 and ended up ordering a 4 and 6 regular just in case. The 4 fit well with the exception of the bust; I'm a 34D so it was a big too snug in that area so I wore the 6. I'm 5'5" and the regular length was perfect; however, if you're much taller than I am it may be a bit short if you plan to wear shoes with any sort of heel. I would highly recommend this dress!

Loved the dress for my daughter's prom. Everything was perfect if I had to complain it would be that the dress was a little short for her 5'10" height with heels. With flats it fit perfect. She looked amazing!

Dress was great. It was very comfortable and fit true to size. Length was perfect with 3 inch heels. I am 5'4" tall and weigh 145 pounds. I wore a sheer black shawl to complete the look and cover the back opening a bit.

LOVED this dress! This was not my first, second, or even third choice....but I am so glad it was sent to me! The fit was perfect! The dress runs pretty true to size and is form fitting but very comfortable! It is very sexy and the cut out in the back is a great detail! Received so many compliments on this dress and would definitely recommend! Also, this was my first experience with RTR and couldn't say enough good things....great customer service, super friendly and very accommodating after my first choice dress did not fit!

I normally wear a size 4. This 4 fit like a glove but it was very flattering. If you are wearing heels and are over 5'6" you definitely want the longer length.

The dress fit me perfectly. The size 8 fit, but I went with the size 10R because it was a little more comfortable. I am a 34D+ so the 10R gave me that extra room up top. I wore 4 inch heels and the dress stopped perfectly at my toes. I am 5'2 if that helps those reading this. The waist area is fitted giving this simple dress an added flare. I like things that are classy, elegant, and simple (with a little bit of sexy). This dress was just that. I have zero complaints about this dress or the process of receiving this dress. It was my first experience with RTR and it will not be my last.

I wore this for a military ball. I had been looking for something classic and form fitting. Received tons of compliments on this dress. The lace was beautiful and dress fit like a glove. I had to wear 4 1/2 inch heels. I'm 5'2 and it was just a tad long. But I wasn't tripping on it all so length was ok.

This was my back-up dress for a black tie Winter wedding. The dress was simple but fit perfectly and looked great next to a tuxedo. It is lined with the softest satin that felt great again the skin. I am normally a size 4, and wore a 4L which fit great. The length was perfect with 3" heels. I would recommend for anyone searching for a classic looking, flattering dress.

Can run a bit long but I had tall heels. I love the silhouette but the striping in the front definitely shows more in pictures with flash. I would buy this dress if I could. I got a few extra days for New Year's so I ended up wearing it to a party too!

little hard to sit down because it was tight. A tiny bit of the lace in the back stuck out funny and people kept trying to fix it through the night by tucking it or folding it. All in all it was a fabulous dress and I loved it.

This was sent to me since my original selection was too damaged, though this dress was similar to my original choice. This dress was simply gorgeous. It fit perfectly, even the perfect height for me to wear my low 2 inch heels. The nude color nearly matched my pale skin perfectly. I received so many compliments and it was so comfortable that I didn't want to take it off (or return it).

This dress was amazing! I'm 5'3 and pretty petite so I was glad the dress wasn't too long! It was a really flattering dress and I got lots of compliments. I was worried that because of the back I wouldn't be able to move my arms as much but I had no problems. The dress was also very comfortable.

It is an extremely comfortable dress. Flattering for the upper body. If you are self conscience about your mid-region, remember, it is very fitted. Perfect for a black tie affair.

The dress looked amazing and I felt beautiful. Only issue was I received the day of event because there was an issue with my original order. This dress was ripped in numerous places and I had to get the dress fixed before being able to wear. Other than that hiccup, it was truly beautiful!!

It fit well in the hip area which is what I wanted to show off, it was a bit looser in the mid section than I prefer. However, I have a true hour glass figure and this is a problem I run into often with my wide hips and smaller waist.

I wore this dress for prom a few days ago and it fit perfect. Usually when I try to find long dresses they're always too long because i'm only 4'11. This dress fit me true to my size and my height. It's extremely comfortable and isn't too heavy which is good for a summer event. I would definitely recommend this dress!

I am curvy and full busted and this gown fit me like it was MADE for me! I tend to order dresses a size larger to accommodate my large bust, but this one just fit perfectly with no worries! The back is totally open which adds a little element of sexy to the gown - but it was also something that I was a little concerned about because I was afraid at my age (51) to go without a bra. I call my ample 38DD girls my 38 LONGS - so braless is not usually a good thing on me. But when I tried the gown on I could tell that I could wear it braless without worry. The way the gown is designed and lined holds you in (and up) quite nicely. I would also definitely recommend wearing the LONG version of this if you are 5ft 7in or taller. I broke my leg and am in a walking cast, so I tried to match the heel on my other foot as closely as I could - thus the height was fairly low, and even so the Long still fit perfectly in the length. Since I was traveling across country for the Gala I had the gowns shipped directly to my hotel to avoid having to rent extra days and pack and haul them. They were waiting for me at my hotel, no problem! What a convenience for me to not have to worry about packing formal gowns in a suitcase! I do have to add though that if I HAD been home and had the extra time and ability I probably would have bought and worn one of those stick on bras just because that's me, but it was really just fine without. The entire experience was perfect, and this gown was truly the shining star of the Gala. Would I rent this one again? Absolutely!

Fit like a glove, material has a nice stretch to it that makes it forgiving. Modest enough for a business related event, but sexy enough to make you feel special.

Great dress. Very flatering, very comfortable, and I got compliments on it all night! it was just a tad too short though so something to be aware of if you are tall!

I wore a size 4R and the length was perfect with my 3" heels. It fit perfectly snug on my bust so I didn't have to worry about a bra. I never go braless and with this dress I was able to! I'm a bit broader in the shoulders but because this had an open back, it worked for me.

The gorgeous lace detail and open back make this dress a showstopper. It was a great fit, and I think would be good for any shape/size. I wore nubra seamless adhesive bra, but you could also wear the low down bra back converter by Braza if you want to wear your own bra. I paired it with this Oscar de la Renta necklace, it would look great with any statement necklace! You can't go wrong with this dress!

The dress fit like a glove! I got complements all night on my dress. The original dress I ordered ended up not being available and they sent replacement dresses for me and also sent jewelry which completed my look. I have recommended RTR to everyone I know, I have had dozens of great experiences in the past 4 years of using RTR!

I'm 5 ft 6.4 inches tall so I wasn't sure if I should get regular or long. Also, I was nervous because the event was on a boat and I didn't want to get tripped up. I requested the 12 long and 14 regular. The 14 was short and loose while the 12 fit like glove. There were some stray threads from previous wear which I cut off. I was given several guidelines for what I could wear as a guest for this particular military ball. This dress was conservative enough and I felt very comfortable with my choice.

I am 5'0 and wore cowboy boots, so the dress was long. I used hem tape, and it worked great. Wearing heels would have solved the problem. Additionally, the dress was a little large in the shoulders. I had to overlap the back connections.

This was actually a back up dress that RTR sent me because they didn't have the right size in the dress I ordered but it ended up being better I think!!! The fit was great, not to tight but still has the form fitting aspect. It did bunch up a little bit around my hips as I walked but I have a fuller bottom half than I do upper so I tend to have that problem with most dresses. I could dance and sit comfortably. I received so many compliments about the dress and I felt amazing in it!!! It is a fantastic dress!!!

Dress fit really well. Length was perfect, I am 5'3, and wore about 3 1/2" heels. I bought a low back bra to wear with it, but the shoulder straps showed at the back, in the end I realized I didn't actually need a bra as it's very structured. The dress is very well made with the nude silk, and then a lining. The lace around the neckline was a bit raggedy but I pressed it and trimmed a few threads and it was fine, and no one would have noticed. It's very comfortable to wear, and glamorous. Also good that it doesn't really wrinkle so would be good if you had to travel.

I'm 5'3" and the regular length was okay with 3" heels but if you want the gown t skim the floor, I would get it in Long. #blacktie #lace #elegant

My first dress turned out to be too small, but the wonderful people at RTR were kind enough to overnight this dress. They were low in stock so I kind of settled for this one since it was one of few available dresses in my size. I wasn't feeling it at first...until I got to the event. I got so many compliments, I changed my mind about it and suddenly felt beautiful! I have a full bust and thankfully ordered a size up from what I normally wear. The top fit so snug that I was able to go without a bra. The dress is a bit shorter than I'd liked (I usually wear sky-high heels). I wore modest 3 inch heel which made the hem fall the perfect length just skimming the floor. The built in corset is very flattering, just make sure your back is in shape as the back is exposed pretty well. Tip! I have some very strong double-stick skin tape that I adhered to the back of the dress. I had my husband hold my back fat downward with his hand and stick the dress tape on before letting go. That way my back was smoothe and flawless. Weird, but it works!

Fit was nice but maybe not stunning. I wore this to a formal office holiday party, so i wanted something pretty and flattering but conservative. The dress was comfortable, length was perfect in heels.

I tried the 2R and the 4R based on previous reviews. I ended up wearing the 4R because I have a wide ribcage. The dress was super comfortable and I received a lot of compliments! The only thing I was medium on was the color. Since I wore this in the middle of winter, I did not have a tan. The nude colored lining underneath kind of washed me out. But I felt very elegant, and next time I will invest in a spray-tan a few days out!

This gorgeous does run small, I would recommend ordering your 1st dress one size and your backup two sizes up, especially if you are bottom heavy like I am. However, with my Spanx, I was able to eat, dance, and be merry without any problems at all!! The long sizes are LONG...I am 5'7" and wore six inch heels and still found myself periodically lifting the skirt as I walked; it didn't bother me though...only added to the elegance of the dress. The only con to the dress is that it is HEAVY...much more than I expected!! It worked great for the crisp December night of my event, but I did get very warm at times!! I definitely would recommend this dress!!

After a long hunt for a dress and many falling through, this one worked really well for me. It was a nice length, nice shape, and beautiful dress. It was a little big in the back and at the top because there were no smaller sizes when I ordered and I had not tried it on before that evening. I paired it with a nice RR necklace and it gave me a wonderful evening!

Got this as a backup for a wedding and didn't wear it, only because my other dress was also amazing. This one was a bit sexier - really hugs the curves, but still comfortable - just felt the other was slightly more appropriate for the formal wedding, although again - this one would have worked. Love the back, but it likely won't show up in many pictures. Will rent again if I have the opportunity.

I loved this dress! It fit very well and tailored , but it was not clingy or restrictive. I wore it from 6:30 pm to 1:30 am. Loved it! I got so many compliments on it.
