One of my all time favorite rentals. The colors are incredible in person, I got complements all night.

As other reviewers mentioned, the bodice is fairly structured. Though I typically wear a 6, it was a little snug. I could still zip the dress and was comfortable. The slip and skirt are loose and flowy below that. The slip is a good length, so I was confident moving in the dress. The embroidery is STUNNING. It if vibrant but not too busy. I got the most compliments I've every gotten from a RTR piece.

This dress was beautiful. I ordered the dress in a size 4. The top has structure and boning, so I was able to wear this dresss without a bra. I have a full bust, 32DDD and I can NEVER go without a bra, but this fit snug and secure so it wasn't an issue. The cups in the top were a little small, but it was manageable. The straps were a long and kept falling off my shoulders. I am 5'2 and the length hit an inch or so above the floor on me.

Perfect for my small waist and wide hips. No bra required. Got lots of compliments. I'm usually a 4 for tops and a 6-8 for pants.

This dress was truly stunning! The top boddess was tighter then the rest of the dress which worked out nicely that I didn't have to wear a bra. I did try some cutlet inserts to see if it made a difference but for me it looked the same both ways bc of the ribbed part of the boddess. For a spring wedding this dress was breathable, lightweight, elegant, and beautiful. The only negative thing I have to say is the straps kept falling down when dancing, but overall super happy with this dress!!

Loved this dress. Lots of complements and perfect for an outdoor wedding. Colors are so vibrant. Size 6 was a little tight but I made it work. Straps are not adjustable and dug into my shoulders by the end of the night

I am typically a 8 but I couldn't zip it up near my chest (36B). However, the 10 fit great! I got so many compliments and felt gorgeous in this dress! I had a lot of people tell me I should buy it!

I wore this to my sister's rehearsal dinner in Vail Colorado and it was amazing. The detailed stitching was beautiful. The fit was great and I loved that I could wear colored shoes to match the stitching. No complaints and I would wear every day if I could.

This was my first RTR experience and it was perfect. The embroidery is beautiful and gives off a subtle regal vibe. I normally wear a size 8 so I consider this true to size but it might be loose if you have a smaller chest. I wore this with no bra and the straps were a bit loose but nothing unbearable. Must wear heels if you are as short as I am. Overall, I have never received so many compliments in one night. 10/10.

I've been wanting to rent this dress for a wedding for ages, but it was rarely ever available through my membership, so I finally went the Reserve route, and didn't regret it. It runs true to size, the fabric and detailing = STUNNING, and I received endless compliments. Don't think twice!

Please note that it is a corset top and if you're big in the rib cage it may be a little tight. I managed to cover up armpit fat in the photos lol, but if that's not a problem you have, this dress will fit perfect, look amazing, and I did this shoot with both boots and a Stetson and stilettos for two looks and both looks cane out incredible. The top is a thick embroidered mesh and there is a mesh slip underneath that is thigh high. Expect compliments! Do note the straps are not adjustable.

Fit was good and true to size. The black slip underlay is a bit see through and was just above my knees. The dress was longer than I thought from other pictures. I'm 5'9" wearing the size 20.

The colors on this are absolutely beautiful. If you're shorter than 5'4 you may need to wear pretty high heels to keep it from dragging. I wish the straps were either a little tighter or adjustable, but it was fine.

Just gorgeous detailing with the embroidery. I found it comfortable except when sitting on the ground, as the bit of boning in the bodice dug in a little. No need for shape wear for me which was delightful for an outdoor, summer event, and a strapless bra worked well. Such a special dress! I hope to have more occasions to rent it.

I originally ordered this dress thinking it might be too big, but when I got it, it fit like a glove. This dress is actually perfect: accentuates in all the right areas, holds in the "girls", has a great shape, is a little sexy with the floral overlay on top of the little black slip, and isn't heavy at all. I wore this to a summer wedding, and then I decided that I would be okay wearing this dress for the rest of my life. I felt like a super star. Rent this dress. Feel your best. :)

I was devastated to have to return this dress. The fit is so flattering and I received endless compliments. It is whimsical and beautiful! Super comfortable and good for girls with a bigger bust!

Wore this as a wedding guest and everyone sent compliments all night. I'm 22 weeks pregnant and this dress fit me is all of the right places. Wish I could hav slept it forever!

I am 5' 8" and 170ish. I've got a smaller waist and larger bust/hips, and this fit me like a glove. I wore a strapless bra with tall undies underneath, so the corset didn't chafe at all. The corset helped hold everything up well. I was very comfortable and got a ton of compliments.

Great dress!!

This dress was a hit! After searching high and low for a dress for my best friends’ winter wedding, I decided to take a risk and try Rent the Runway and so happy I did. I’ve never received so many compliments on a dress- first thing the bride said to ME was “omg I live YOUR dress” haha. I cannot believe that at 5’2 this was the perfect length - I’ve never been able to wear a long dress without alterations. I rented a 4 and a 6, wore the 4. Honestly both fit very similarly which was surprising, but in hindsight I probably would have been more comfy in the 6, the 4 was quite tight especially in the chest area as I have a full bust and the boobs were quite squished down. But I felt the 4 was slightly more flattering in my stomach area because of how fitted it was and with the boning in the seams so went with that. Also, the 4 I received didn’t have the black string around the waist and I actually preferred it without. I danced the whole night (and into the afterparty) in the dress so it was a huge success!

Gorgeous dress, I got so many compliments. The zipper is hard to get up around the waist because the fabric is built up there and the waist was pretty snug, but I don’t think I would’ve wanted to size up for that. Altogether a perfect choice for a black tie wedding!

The embroidery, the structure, the movement, the fit, the colors… this dress fit like a glove and required no foundation garments. It is an absolute DREAM and I wore it as mother of the bride. I felt gorgeous, danced all night (like I was 22), and was sad to send this one back.

This dress was great! It was slightly too big for me, but not to a point where it was unwearable. I got a size 10 but according to the ML size guide I should have gotten a 12. So in my opinion this dress runs a little large. I got many, many compliments all day and night while wearing it! Like others have mentioned, the straps slipped off my shoulder when sitting and it did show a bit more cleavage when sitting down. I really, really appreciated not having to wear a bra, and overall, it was comfortable, minus having to keep an eye on the straps. I’m 5’4” and I was able to change out of heels and into flats for the dancing without the dress dragging on the floor. It was kind of cutting it close, though, so if you’re significantly shorter than 5’4” you might need to wear heels. Overall, I loved this dress and felt very pretty in it!

I thought this fit pretty perfectly! It was even more stunning in person. I do wish that you could adjust the straps, but otherwise it's great.

I am petite, but have a full bust (32G). The boning of this dress was so good that I didn't even have to wear a bra (huge plus in my opinion). The full skirt is beautiful and so fun to wear. I believe that RTR exists for dresses like this. You don't need to own them, but man are they fun to wear. So so glad I rented this dress. Enjoy!!!

I wore this dress to an outdoor, formal evening wedding and got compliments from everyone including the photographers asking who made this dress. Fit snug enough in the chest that you could go braless and the straps fit pretty well. The belt had a tendency to roll and can't be untied and retied for comfort but overall, beautiful dress. Length was mid calf at my height but with the right heels, midi length doesn't matter.
