This dress is hands down AH-mazing. The picture does not do it justice. It's a rich navy and has the best fit. I received nothing but compliments all night and was perfect for dancing. I originally ordered another dress but did not receive it since it was damaged. The rent the runway girls at the flat iron location were great in finding a substitute. The 2L was a bit baggy in the hips wait areas since my true size is around a 0 but because of the draping it was not obvious. I wish I owned this dress!

It fits small into he chest

I usually wear a 6 so I ordered a 6L and an 8L. The 6L fit perfectly. It was a little tight around the bust but not uncomfortable. With my 5-inch heels on, the dress just barely touched the ground and made the lace train in the back flow perfectly! This semi-mermaid style dress was perfect for my figure and I looked gorgeous! I'm not big on tulle or chiffon so the combination of lace overlay mixed with the minimal amount of tulle created the perfect mix of style and femininity without looking "princess-like". The one shoulder detail - LOVED IT!!! (even though I had to pin it to get a more custom fit..but still loved it). Over all experience was fantastic! I picked the dress up at the Georgetown store and fell in love with it the moment I saw it. The assistant manager was extremely helpful and returning the dresses was such a simple process. Would highly recommend RTR!

The dress runs small in the bust area. No room for a bra, and no stretch, so you may need to size up. For length, I wasn't sure if I should order the long as I am 5'7" and wore heels. The dress was long, even with my heels. Glad I got the regular length!

The dress itself is nice and light in weight. I am always concerned with length as I am 5' 10 1/2'' but the 10L ended up being perfect with about a 2" heal. The top does run small as others noted. My chest is on the broad size but the next size up was too big. The body fit well and it wasn't itchy or scratchy (tulle sometimes can be).

I usually wear a size 4/6. In this dress i wore an 8!!! Get size up!

The fit was great! I am a 36F in the bust, but still managed to squeeze myself in up top. There is a great shelf built in (I still wore a strapless bra for extra support). The waist comes in nicely, which I appreciated as I don't always get dressed that can show my waist when my top is so heavy. Length wise I went with the regular as I'm just shy of 5'4. It was perfect. I went with only 1 inch heels which I worried would be too short but the dress flowed nicely. Excited to rent from here again!

The dress was absolutely beautiful and I got so many compliments on it! I usually wear an 8 and it fit everywhere except for my chest because I wear a 34DDD. The 10 fit really well and the style of the dress is form fitting but you can definitely move around in it. I wore it to my sorority formal with 5 inch heels and ordered the long instead of the regular length because I wanted it to just touch the ground and not show my shoes. Overall, I would 100% order this dress again because it was so elegant and flattering.

Great dress. It felt a little tight around the hips which made it a little uncomfortable to sit or bend down. Also, I'm 5'4 and I wore a 6R but it still was a little long on me so the bottom would get stuck on my heels or under chairs. I had to be paying attention to that all night. But overall it was worth it for such a beautiful dress. I would definitely rent from RTR again.

This dress fit perfectly. It was a bit tight. I had the 8 and could have worn in but with the mermaid style, I felt the tighter dress looked better. I got so many compliments and I felt so wonderful in it. I tried convincing my husband to buy it for me...to which he pointed out, I would never wear it again because I don't wear the same dress twice...that's the beauty of rent the runway!

I have been wanting to rent this dress since the first time I saw it on RTR! It was worth the wait. The fit was great and the navy blue color photographs perfectly! I wore a 2R. It was a little tight on the bust area but I prefer it that way. It is a very delicate dress though, because of all the tulle on the bottom you have to be careful not to snag it from your shoes and/or jewelry. Can't wait for my next event to rent again!

The dress fit great and I received so many compliments! The only downfall was that I ordered the dress in black and it came in dark blue but it was still beautiful!

I ordered this dress very last minute. As a result, I received it the evening before my event. I ordered a 0R and 2R. I normally wear 0R. When I received the dress, we were not the best of friends. The OR fit perfectly everywhere except for where it zipped. It was extremely tight under my arm which caused my skin to bunch and fold over. However, it fit perfectly fine under my other arm. I tried the 2R which fit better around the zipper but was way too baggy elsewhere. I contacted RTR to have another dress overnighted, but, though the were extremely prompt and helpful, they were unable to ship another dress in time for my event. I decided I would try to make the 0R work. It must have stretched out a little because I did not have near the problem around the zipper as I had had the evening before (though, it was still tight). In the end, the dress and I became friends and I received several compliments throughout the night.

I don't have the right words for this dress. Absolutely gorgeous, stunning, just breathtaking!!! Yes, it's snug on top and if you have a large bust you'll probably have a hard time squeezing into it but it fit like a glove and I loved every single second I was in it! I look forward to getting another opportunity to wear this gown.

It fit like a glove, and is a style I never would've imagined would look good on me as I have a big butt/hips, but it hugged the right areas and slimmed the right places. I wore it to a wedding in New Orleans and all the bridesmaids (in their personally handmade and tailored dresses) said they were checking me out prior to the ceremony. Talk about a compliment! The dress was comfortable and allowed me to move around a lot. We even went out to Bourbon Street after the wedding, and I still received tons of stares and compliments. LOVE this dress!

The fit is true to size. I ended up last minute ordering a 6L because the R was too short in heels, I wanted something touching the floor. The L was just long enough, I wore about 3 inch heels and I am about 5'6". I also don't have the biggest chest so it fit perfect for me even with a strapless bra, I don't think it is necessary but I needed to extra lift. The dress fit like a glove, but not uncomfortable at all, sitting wasn't a problem either, neither was dancing! I was hesitant to wear the navy because I was going to wear black, but it photographed beautifully! The only con would be that the tulle on the neck got a little chaffed after the night of dancing, nothing that made me regret it, just want people to be aware it does rub a little bit. I wish I owned this and could wear it all the time! I've never received so many compliments during and after!

The gown fits like a dream. I have no boobs and lots of booty with a skinny waist. It was so classy and look amazing on me! If I didn't get at least 20 compliments I didn't get one....wish I owned the gown I love it so much.

Very snug on top (I went up a size from my usual), but I quickly got used to it-no bra needed. Other than that it fit great. I received a million compliments all night. I LOVED this dress!

I wore this dress to my senior sorority formal and got so many compliments! I definitely agree with other reviewers that it runs small in the chest - I actually rented the 6L and the 8L and ended up wearing the 8 because of the fit in the chest. Other than that, though, it was flawless! The shape was so flattering and the dress itself was actually pretty comfortable. It was my back-up, but I'm so glad that it's the one I wore!

This dress was amazing! I received compliments from the minute I walked into the venue. It ran a bit small just cause I have wide hips and a big butt so I always need something with some stretch in that area. The bust was fine- I'm a 36DD and didn't need to wear a bra because it had so much support in it already, definitely a perk! I also was happy I didn't need to wear a super high heel- I wore about a 2.5-3 inch heel and it was perfect. I was sneaky and used the length to hide my bare feet on the dance floor and no one noticed. Highly recommend this dress to anyone.

This was my first RTR experience. Dress was actually my backup since my original dress didn't come in on time. Stylists were very helpful and I was lucky enough to have something to wear to my event. Dress fits well, but the 4R was a little too long for me. I had to break out 3 in. heels. It's a beautiful color that brightens with a flash photo. The chest area fit snug and the hip area was a little loose, but overall it was a great choice.

For short women, (under 5'5) please make sure you have a good comfortable heel to avoid stepping on your train. Also, the bust area is a tad tight. Waist can be tightened with the fastener that is on the slip of the dress on the inside. Dress is more blue than pics advertised. Dress is true to size, fits very well.

When the original dress I wanted was returned damaged beyond repair I was devastated. RTR promptly called me/emailed me to get me another dress in my size to me for my cousin's wedding. After choosing a few, this one was available for dates I needed. They sent it to me and when I tried it on, I immediately loved RTR even more. It was perfect. It fit like a glove, however comfortable to dance in. The dress was pretty snug around the top so not much give there. I would recommend going one up on sizing. They only had 4L and Im normally a 4 or 6 so Im glad it fit just right. Also, length is PERFECT with being 5/8 and 3.5 inch heels. It was a mermaid cut so tight around hips but comfortable. I will be renting with RTR again. I got a lot of compliments and felt like a queen thanks to RTR!

The dress was oh-so flattering and such a beautiful color. I wore it to my high school prom and got so many compliments! I usually wear a four or a six, but I ordered a six and eight because of all of the comments saying the dress runs small. That was not the case for me at all; in fact, I almost wish I had got the four because the six could have been a little tighter, but the six still fit beautifully. My only complaint is that I thought being 5'5" getting a regular length would be fine, but even in my four inch heals, it was a little too long.

I wore this for a gala and received compliments all night. The pictures do not do it justice; its a pretty navy blue color and the tulle design and texture makes it gorgeous. The lining of the dress was perfect in length wearing the regular with 3inch heels, but the outer tulle layer is a couple inches longer. It required to be lifted when walking or you'll step on it. It was comfortable and fun to wear! My only regret was having to return it :)

I'm 5'6 and got a long, my heels were probably 4 inches and it was perfect! My experience is get the long!!! It's easier to get higher shoes! This dress is sooo beautiful in person! There's lace, and ah so pretty! It really is a must rent!!! (Difficult to explain!) I'm a 10/12 but busty (36dd) so the 12 worked best with this dress. The navy it subtle, I thought it looked blacked until photos, and day time ;)) If you have any insecurities about your body this is such a flattering dress! I was sad to return it :(

Typically, I am a size 2, but this dress was very tight in the bust. I wore the size 4, and it fit perfectly. The dress was very long for my 5'2" frame so I was sure to wear some extra high heels! Overall the dress was perfect! It looked brand new when I received it, and I was complemented throughout the night!

I ordered a 12 based on the reviews of the bust being small, but I didn't think I'd need to wear the 14. The 12 fit nicely, except for my girls! If you are a larger busted lady, you'll definitely need to size up. The 14 was perfect for the girls, but the rest of the dress was very loose. I still loved the dress despite the sizing issues.

Extremely tight on bust but I was expecting that with a full bust. The 8 was way too big to wear though everywhere else. The midsection isn't the most flattering the way the material lays. Overall, it was a beautiful dress.

I wore this dress for a masquerade ball and it was wonderful. I usually wear 2 but 4 fit me perfectly (thankful for free 2nd size). I receive tons of compliments and it was the dress of the night. however, it is a little bit challenging to walk around with - it seemed to have some dragging lace on the bottom of the dress from previous uses. Also, it didn't have a petite size so it was a little too long for me. somehow I managed and had a great time in this dress.

I wore this to prom as my fifth choice dress (yes you read that right) and wasn't crazy about it. All of the dresses I originally wanted weren't available the weekend I needed them, so I ended up having to order this one. It was very pretty and fit well, but I rarely wear tight dresses and I was extremely self-conscious the entire night. I got a few compliments, but didn't dance, was hot, and felt fatter than I was. I bet this dress would be fantastic on someone who has great curves and sky high self confidence, but it just didn't cut it for me.

This dress definitely runs small. I can usually fit into a size 2 and there was no chance with this one, the 4R fit though like it was made for my body. It did run long too, I am 5'4 and with 3.5 inch heels the dress still hit the floor. It still looked so pretty, I got tons of compliments. It was classy and well made, hugging in the right places to make it form-fitted by flattering. This was actually sent to me as a backup dress since my original rental was returned damaged, and I was initially bummed - but this dress ended up being way prettier in person than on the site.

I received this dress as a backup from RTR. The 4L fit well (I'm usually a 2L). I thought that it was nice, but a little too va va voom for the event that I was going to. I also didn't like that the top layer of tulle was longer than the bottom layers - I was tripping just walking around in my house. I did have a long, but I think the regular would have been too short.
