If you are on the fence about this dress, you won't regret getting it! I wore it to the symphony and it made me feel like I actually belonged in the box seats we splurged on. The fabric is rich and the perfect amount of heavy. The colors of the skirt aren't as vibrant as they appear on this website but the effect is still gorgeous. The length was perfect on me wearing three inch heels.

Beautiful gown with POCKETS!! This gown incorporates darker colors, print and texture and the fit is perfect. Definitely would recommend going up a size due to the fabric having no stretch. The gown runs true to size and with having a fuller bust cleavage is a concern, but this neckline was very flattering. At 5'7, Wearing heels shy of 3 inches allowed this gown to fall at the perfect length. I wore a strapless bra yet a standard bra would be suitable as well. I love how the fabric was slightly heavy but comfortable, great for the colder months ahead. Would pair with statement earrings and simple necklace.

This was PERFECT for an outdoor fall wedding! The material is thick and heavy so it keeps you warm! No bra needed, bonus!!! And, best of all, POCKETS! The lines were amazing, very flattering! I got so many compliments throughout the night.

The dress was the perfect length with my one inch heels. It was comfortable and even though the girls were bit visible, at no point did I think they would fall out. Most importantly-it has pockets!

Not sure what shape this works on, but it wasn't mine. Had to size up because the arm holes were too small, then had to get creative in sizing down for everywhere else. The pockets are massive, but that was the only redeeming element of this gown.

I wore this for a prom-style event for a non-profit, and it was a stunner! It fit well, I got tons of compliments, and it had pockets! The top was slightly low, but honestly I didn't mind because I loved the rest of the dress so much. I was able to wear with heels and it was still fine when I kicked my heels off to mingle and dance.

Loved this dress and was complimented time and time again at my event. I wore my true size but would have preferred a size down. You can wear with a plunge bra which is a plus and it's got a great sheen of a mermaid look on the bottom.

I wore this when I was working as an event planner for a nonprofit, so it wasn't tight, it wasn't revealing, and the pockets were amazing! The gala was masquerade themed so I paired it with my mask and gold necklace and low heels.

I am a wide hip person and for all practical peruses a drop waist should NOT look good - It was beautiful and I felt beautiful and others said it was very flattering and gorgeous on me. The deep V front did not allow for a regular bra - no need as it's so substantial and lined that I went without. The skirt has such a beautiful water-like pattern that I picked up the colors around me in photos. The pockets are not big enough to hold an extra-large phone, but plenty of room for a lipstick or smaller phone. (YES-POCKETS). I am 5ft5inches and with a 2 inch heel the dress draped the floor, it was comfortable to dance in and walk in, didn't feel like I was tripping or too tight to walk. Received many compliments, love a black bodice and the wavy iridescent colored skirt. My only "complaint" is that the dress arrived at 11pm Friday night for a Saturday night event. I tracked the package that was "out for delivery" - you have to have confidence in the system and at Christmas time my confidence was waning after it didn't arrive by 5pm. But that anxiety melted away when I opened my package. Didn't need the back-up size or dress.

I had to get a size 16 because the 14 was a bit tight for a larger bust.

I ordered my regular size 14, with a 12 back up. A few days before the event, I put on a dress for work....and ...decided to have the 16L as my backup. Thank goodness, the 12 L would not have fit at all, the 14 was just too tight in the waist...everything else perfect, opted for comfort and wore the 16. My fault, I like good food and drink. Looking forward to my next Rent the Runway gown/ event! But first, let's get me back in a 12!!! P.S. I am 52 years old and 5'9"!

Flattering and comfortable; this dress is so great. Based on previous reviews I pre-purchased a lace bracelet, and it was perfect. It seemed like it was part of the dress.

This dress was gorgeous! AND POCKETS! The material was so heavy but it was perfect for and OUTDOOR wedding....in February. The color was amazing, it was a little big in the bust but fit nicely around my waist and the skirt flowed beautifully. But seriously pockets! The top does go pretty low and shows a lot of cleavage. I don't really have any cons, even with heels it was a bit long but other than that... I really want to buy this dress...but I have no reason to own it. I will definitely be renting it again it the occasion arises.

It was beautiful, and elegant, can wear in the winter or summer. I loved the pockets as well. If you are tall get the long option it fit perfectly.

I'm 5'7 1/2 and usually wear a 6 or 8 depending on how the fit runs, for this dress i wanted to make sure it was perfect so i ordered an 8 and a 6 just to be safe. The 6 was perfect, length wise i wore low heels about 2 inches and the dress reached just above the floor. Very comfortable and IT HAS POCKETS! The skirt is absolutely breathtaking the colors really show up well. I recieved quite a few compliments at the Grammy's. Definitely recommend!

I got the 10P and the 12P as a back up. The 10P ended up fitting like a glove. My chest was a little squished, but it turned out okay. The bodice is padded, but you could certainly still wear a plunge bra with this if you so choose - I did. The zipper is *extremely* difficult to pull up. Make sure you have help! Even though this was a petite size, the skirt was very long. I wore 5" platform heels, and you can see in the picture the skirt still covers my toes. Which, thank goodness it did. I wore a Spanx bodysuit under this, and decided to forgo stockings, so my legs and feet were bare. It was -7 in Anchorage the evening of the charity gala, so I was grateful that the skirt was fairly heavy material and it actually kept me surprisingly warm on the walk back to the parking garage. The material around the underarms got a bit chafey towards the end of the evening, but not abysmally so. Also, POCKETS. THIS HAS POCKETS!! That's a game changer right there. I loved this dress. It's been my favorite that I've gotten from this site so far.

This dress was the prefect fit. A little low cut in the front but I love that I could wear a regular bra wih it. I wore the long because it was the right length with my 5 inch heels. I love that it had pockets.

I felt very elegant as a guest at a black tie wedding in this dress. I ordered the 22R and the 20R as my backup size. I wore the 22R, it was a little short, the 22L probably would have been better; I was expecting it to be a floor length gown, but I'm taller so I just wore some strappy heels. The material is very heavy but not too restrictive, I had no problem dancing the night away!

I️ received so many compliments at the Gala I️ attended. So many people came up to me saying how gorgeous the dress was as well as the earrings (I️ also rented them from RTR)! I️ would recommend wearing a push up bra of some type due to the cut of the dress.

I love this dress! It is comfortable (has pockets!!) and I got lots of compliments. This dress is a bit big, but good news is that I did not need spanx! Other reviewers mention it having a low waist, which it did but knowing that ahead of time it did not bother me. The only size available to rent was a 'Long' and it was super long.. I am 5"9 and I wore 3" heals and it was sweeping the floor.

The dress fit like a glove and, though it was heavy, had some give that made it easy to eat and dance in. I used some dress tape just to make sure I wasn't flashing anyone on the dance floor, but I felt like the dress showed off a nice amount of cleavage while offering good support. I wore this length dress with flats, but the length would definitely have worked for heels. I got so many compliments and felt so glamorous! I'd recommend - especially to anyone with narrower hips or a smaller rear end like me!

Loved this dress!! Received lots of compliments all night long. I could wear a regular bra which was great. I normally wear a 14, but they didn't have any available so I wore a 16 and it was fine. I used a little double sided tape for the chest just to be secure. Stunning dress! If you haven't rented with rent the runway before, I cannot recommend it enough! Ordered 2 different dresses to arrive Thursday. One had a small tear (Only noticeable when on because it was at the seam and you could see if when the fabric pulled, so no wonder someone missed it!). Called Thursday and had 2 new dresses to me by Friday at no cost. Cannot recommend them enough! Great customer service, will be renting from them again!

This was my 1st time using RTR and not only did I love my dress I was super impressed w/the customer service! I am a tall girl and was pleased there was a tall length option. I initially ordered a size 12 which is my usual size (backup size 14). I received both dresses on Thursday afternoon for a function on Sat. evening. The 12 ended up being too big on me and RTR sent me a size 10 which arrived Sat. morning. The dress fit like glove, was super comfy and I loved the pockets!

This was my backup. I put it on and it was way too comfortable not to wear. I didn't have to wear a bra and the fit was perfect. Didn't carry a bag because the pockets were big enough for my phone and lip gloss. The only complaint is that the dress was a little long and the hemline was weird -- like stringy so it got caught in my spike heels once. Otherwise perfect.

Fit like a glove up top but was a little loose in the hips. I'm large busted so it really fit me well. I felt very glam. I'm 5'10 so the length was perfect with a 3 inch heel.

I'm 5'4 and 135 pounds and would describe myself as a straight body type though too athletic to be called narrow. The cut is shaping and I would have loved to wear this dress. I'm not going to wear it because even with platform heels it is too long. The 6P was unavailable otherwise I would have ordered that. You definitely want to be comfortable showing off cleavage to wear this dress. Side note: the one star off is because it's awfully hard to zip the zipper - you will want to have someone who can help you.

I tried it on in store it was going to be a backup dress. It fits so well but ultimately I went with another dress. Best part about this dress? It has pockets!!! You can also wear a real bra and spanx lol

I rented the dress for a Mardi Gras Ball. The dress fit pretty true to size. I am a pear shape and have always had trouble finding the perfect fit for both top and bottom without alterations. With that being said, the bodice was a little loose but not to loose that I couldn't wear it. I did feel like I was flashing people if I bent over for something. The petite length was perfect. I worn 2 1/2 inch heels. The skirt of the dress is very thick and heavy (curtain material). The colors in the skirt are muted in comparison to the picture shown on the site but still a beautiful dress. The pockets were great however my bracelet kept getting snagged. All in all I was happy with the rental and received a number of compliments on the dress.

The fit was amazing. I felt really confident in this dress and it was very flattering. I got a ton of compliments. The pockets were the best part because I didn't have to carry a handbag and grabbing my phone for quick photo ops was a breeze! My cons are this, the color is not nearly as vibrant in person. I expected more green in the skirt, instead it looked like someone spilled motor oil in a puddle on a black top. While still pretty, just not what I was expecting. Also, the texture on the bodice by the end of the night was rubbing the back fat of my underarm area, girls with the same, you know what I mean. But, I did have this on for over 6 hours and didn't start getting uncomfortable under the arms until like hour 5. All in all, I would recommend and rent this dress again.

This dress was super comfortable! I didn't need to wear a bra and the pockets were an added bonus! I highly recommend for bustier women (go a size up though) my smaller size made me look like a pancake chest!

Compliments all night. The fabric is comfortable but very heavy for a May church wedding (I was warm.) At 5'0" in 2 1/2" heels I could walk, but absolutely had to lift the skirt if I wanted to climb any form of stairs at all and dancing could have been easier. Also, it has pockets which are great for small things, but the first time I sat down my cell phone fell out immediately. The neckline was a bit lower than I had anticipated as well; I would rent this again...but probably not for a family event.
