full coverage in the front, unique backless option. Length was lovely! Just touched the floor without heels. The only strange part of the dress was that the hook closure was backwards according to my spouse? I think the fit would have been better if I wore a 14. Felt quite cinched in the waist. The bodice is quite long but I have a short torso! My biggest surprise with the dress is that the entire skirt was textured which I did not notice in photos. My friend said it was like a curtain.

By far my favorite RTR dress yet! I wore this to a spring black tie charity gala and received SO many compliments on it! It was a tiny bit loose on the top, but I am small chested so was expecting that. I used fashion tape along the under arm to make sure the dress stayed put. I was worried the cut and open back might be a little too revealing since this was a work event, but it really wasn't at all! Length was perfect (I'm 5'7 and wore 3 inch heels), it wasn't too heavy, and I was happy to not need a bra due to the texture of the top. Would recommend this dress a hundred times over!

I love this dress! So chic and comfortable. The pockets are everything! No need to bring a purse, my gloss, cards and bag fit perfectly and didn't bulk. The back is stunning. Fit was great. I am a curvy bottom half size 26 in jeans.

Dress was a little loose up top but nothing that would ahowed too much. It was such a unique dress for black tie affair. The back is amazing!!

This dress was perfect for a black tie wedding in the mountains. The construction is beautiful, the fabric is rich, and it fit extremely well. I was worried about not being able to wear a bra, but the appliqués on the front didn't make one necessary. I got so many compliments.

This dress was perfect for a summer wedding. It is very thick so prepare to get warm, but the coloring was perfect. The reason I gave it 4 out of 5 stars was because the straps are not adjustable. It was a little tight around my waist, but the straps were still pretty long so I had to keep watching to make sure it wasn't gapping. I did wear a sticky bra and probably could've solved the issue with dress tape. Fits true to size overall

I got so many compliments on this dress! I loved the open back and it works well on a larger chest. I used boob tape with the dress and it worked perfectly. It was slightly tighter around my waist but otherwise no complaints!

The fabric was Amazing! It was a thicker fabric on the skirt but lightweight. Perfect for a winter wedding or event! I was definitely surprised how easy Rent the Runway was! I will definitely do it again

Got SO many compliments on this dress. It was absolutely beautiful and perfect for a wedding. Gave it four stars for two reasons: it got super hot while dancing due to the heavy material on the bottom half; and it runs a little small. I usually wear a 6 and I should've gotten an 8. The hook and fasten busted when I sat down in my car to leave for the event.

I attempted to use sticky tape but the top did not fully cover my chest. Also I was unable to fully zip up in the back. Wish I had been able to get a larger size. Other than that I would recommend for petite build. Print and quality of the dress are amazing. Would not recommend for full chested women.

The waist was much too tight, like waspish. I couldn't close the hook and eye portion above the zipper.

I ended up not wearing it. As others said, the waist band has no give and runs small. I usually wear a 2 or a 4. I ordered a 6 and it was uncomfortably tight. I rented something else.

The material is such a fabulous quality and so well-lined, went braless sans any concern. The dress saw me through a cold outdoor dinner and indoor dancing up a storm and kept me comfortable in both scenarios!! Plus - pockets. This was a winner.

I'm 5'2" and wear a 34B. The dress was too long for me with my height, despite my 2.5" heels but I made it work with some fashion tape. I agree with some of the other reviewers that the band around the waist is a little tight. I had the 4R as my back up size for which the band fit better but the top was too large and showed way to much side boob. The 2R top fit like a glove, didn't need to wear a bra (fabric is think and the appliqué hides things nicely) and no fashion tape required for the side. That being said, I would buy some fashion tape just in case. I loved this dress, I felt amazing in it, was able to dance, and received multiple compliments! Would rent again!

10L was the perfect length of you are on the taller side. Dress was beautiful and well made.

Loved this dress. I had originally tried renting this dress a year or so ago, but when I received it back then, it came damaged (the flowers on the top of the bodice were falling off). So I took a chance and rented it for a different wedding a year later and I'm so glad I did. It was super comfortable, had pockets, and was very flattering. I got compliments all night long. I wore it for a wedding in Florida in March. Was perfect!

The fit was great, normally wear a 2R and fit true to size. Got tons of compliments and was comfortable to dance in. It also had pockets which is always a plus!

This dress! I am larger chested and a power lifter, so I have a fairly wide back and shoulders. As expected, the area where it zips / clasps in the back at the waist was snug, but still looks okay (not too much muffin action). The pic above isn't from the event night, but the night I received it and HAD to try it on. The best part is that since I have to tape the girls up, which are about as perky as Severus Snape, the floral appliqué on the top will keep things still looking good (no weird lumps or anything visible). I'm 5'6" and this just hit the ground, so if you're tall, consider that you may need to skip the heels. That said, this dress is truly stunning. I felt like a movie star in it.

This dress was so beautiful and fun to wear! Very comfortable and easy to move in....danced for hours! I wore 3 1/2 inch heels and the 8L just touched the floor. RTR had this dress to me in only 16 hours as my first two choices didn't work out. Amazing customer service! Can't wait to rent again!!

Runs almost true to size. I am usually a 4 and this fit (closed) but was tight. It hits higher on the torso- hit me at my widest point making it slightly uncomfortable but still wearable. I would have preferred a 6 but the Long length was perfect for my height. The color was great, the detail in the top was beautiful and the dramatic back made for a great black tie optional dress.

The 6 and 8 sizes were not much different at all. We were going to a gala w dinner served and dancing so I went w the 8 because the snap was just a smidge more comfortable but otherwise, the fit was practically the same everywhere else. I had several friends say they were so glad to see it on, in person because they have been wanting to rent the same one.

True to other reviews, the band does run tight. However, it fits pretty true to size. The open back detail is so sexy and allows you to show some skin without being too risque! It was so comfortable for an outside August wedding. It was a little long for me, even with 3 inch heels, but it still looked great! I received so many compliments! I would definitely rent this dress again!

Dress is beautiful and photographs very well. However, material is heavy and it will make you sweat a bit so be mindful I'm hotter weather. Also, a bit difficult to dance in.

This dress had it all. The floral detail on the top made it possible to go without a bra. Thus making it as a cinch to rock the open back. I was able to chase my kids around the wedding, look good doing it, and feel comfortable

The gown was beautiful and in great condition. I think a size 6 would have fit better around the waist but would most likely have been bigger on top since I have a smaller chest. I loved it and at 5'6" the length was perfect with 3 inch heels.

I loved wearing this dress to a formal dinner I attended. It was so different then most dresses, but not too crazy. The black top with the flower detail was beautiful, and I liked the pattern bottom. The top on the large size was actually smaller, as it seemed the smaller size top had been stretched out. The clasps in the back do break easily, both the dress I wore and the backup had broken clasps. I would definitely recommend this dress!

I rented this dress for a wedding and then a tree branch crushed my car. So.. I then decided to take this beautiful gown to Paris for a 3 Michelin star tasting dinner. The dress was amazing. I felt so comfortable and had the most wonderful time. If I could think of even one potential event I could wear this to in the near future, I would buy this dress.

This dress is phenomenal. It is both comfortable and beautiful, easy to wear and high fashion. I tend to wear a 4 in pants and an XS in tops, because I'm smaller up top and have bigger hips/thighs/rear. So, this dress in a size 2 was perfect, because it's very fitted up top and very forgiving from the waist down. The 4 was too big in the chest, which doesn't work with this dress at all. The pockets are *obviously* a delightful bonus, as was the fact that everyone complimented the dress all day long. I'm 5'9" and the long was the perfect length when I put my heels on. Without heels, the long would have been too long. Highly recommend and wish I could have kept it forever!
