It was pretty hard to get the zipper past the part where the jewels were, but with my boyfriend's help, he was able to get it zipped for me. I loved how elegant the dress was! I wore this to a formal gala. I received so many compliments!

The dress was beautiful! The material was of good quality and a lovely blue. As others have mentioned the zipper was a challenge, but not a game changer. The pockets were great and I was able to carry my phone and ID without anyone knowing. The length worked out perfect with my 3" heels. The top of the dress was loose around the armpits, but not so much that caused an issue. I received several compliments on the dress and would recommend to others.

I rented the dress for my husband's hospice gala. I ordered a 10R & 8R, as I read on the reviews the dress ran long. I am pretty tall, however, the R's were perfect. I wore the 8 and was very comfortable. The dress has pockets, however, I didn't use them. I did not wear a bra and didn't feel uncomfortable. The belt isn't too much bling and the back is flattering. I have nothing but positive things to say about this dress. This is the second time I have rented from RTR and would recommend them to anyone and will rent again!

The back is open and in a flattering way, no bra fat. The fabric is amazing. The pockets are omagosh. The fit is perfect. It's comfortable, flattering, feminine and elegant. I loved it so much.

I usually wear a size 8 but 10 was slightly more comfortable. The top was a little loose, but I was able to get away with it. The length was perfect, I didn't want to wear heels and didn't need to. It was very comfortable to eat and dance in, and I received so many compliments!

Even though I got the petite size (and I'm 5'5"), the skirt was way too long, and it just felt like far too much fabric for my frame. I didn't end up wearing this since another dress I rented for the occasion was much more flattering.

Many compliments on this well made gown that felt amazing to wear to a formal wedding at the Notre Dame Basilica and formal reception. The back is the wow factor and wore an adhesive bra to not complicate the beauty of the gowns's open back. Nice crystal silver accent on the gown that I accented with a crystal cuff bracelet and a fur for this January wedding.

It fit great. I normally wear a 10R but wore a 12R for this dress. The top part was a little big but not too noticeable. Love the pockets and the open back!! Very comfortable and it didn't drag the floor with 3 inch heels.

I ordered a size up on this because I ran a marathon the morning of the event and I wanted to be as comfortable as possible while being fancy and the fit of the dress hid that it was a little big in areas. The dress is very classic and somewhat conservative in the front, but the back makes it extra fun and sexy. But it's not the type of dress you need to fiddle with, it stays in place. Silver-type heels look best with this to match the waistband. I'm tall and the long did not hit the ground.

I really loved wearing this dress!! I like a dress that is fitted through the waist and this did just the trick. The only thing I would caution is that there is a lot of fabric, so if you have a larger behind there is a tendency to accentuate this. As others mentioned the zipper is stubborn and I found myself using a bar of soap to make the zipper slick as others recommended (great trick!!). If you are pear shaped and on the fence about a size I'd recommend ordering based on your bust and waist measurements, as I would have preferred it to be slightly more fitted on top.

The dress was so comfortable to wear all evening long and was beautiful! Loved it! The only problem was the zipper was difficult where it met the pocket. It took two of us to zip it up past this point, but once on it was fine and no issue unzipping it. Just looks like it's stitched tightly around the pocket area and it was catching there. Otherwise wish I could have worn the dress for more occasions!

Runs small, I am usually a size for and the 6 fit pretty well, slightly loose on bust. Needed a strapless backless bra, which wasn't terrible. Dress wasn't tight enough on top to go without.

This dress is so elegant. It is a mix between understated elegance and fun! The beaded belt, although clearly missing some jewels, elevates the dress.

I loved this dress! I don't usually buy clothes online because I need to try it on to see if it fits all in the right places, so I was nervous whether or not this dress would like good. Lo and behold, it fit like a glove! The material was really nice, the back was to DIE FOR, and the ladies were nice and covered. The zipper was a little tough to zip up (I'm a little squishy), but once it was zipped all the way it was really snug. There was a little space near the armpits but not enough to where you can see the ladies or anything. Other than that, it was a really beautiful dress! I fell in love with it when I was browsing the site, and I fell even more in love when I put it on. I felt so elegant and regal and got so many compliments on it! My date liked it too ;) The description is correct in that the zipper falls around your waist, so if you have fuller hips (like me), that won't be a problem with this dress. I stuffed the little padding things from one of my sports bras into my dress to cover the ladies, so nope I did not wear a bra and it was okay! Reading the other reviews helped me to order this dress, so hopefully this review was of help for you!

We had a work Christmas party, a masquerade ball. I wear 32a in a bra, weight 94 pounds, a little over 5 feet tall. I had to make the dress temporarily shorter but it was easy. I decided not to wear a bra and it caused a little gap on the sides but you couldn’t tell. This Dress made my night. I was happy to be wearing it and when my husband saw my st first his reaction was: wow!

Love this dress!! And it has pockets!!! I rented a 6p and 8reg. I thought the 6p would fit because of other reviews. I'm 5'3 and 135 pounds. The 6p was very tight around my rib cage! Apparently I have a wide rib cage! The 8reg felt sooo much better. I received compliments all night. Truly felt amazing in this dress! I will definitely rent from y'all again.

Absolutely lovely, runs true to size. I got lots of compliments. It also has pockets which made for an easy bridesmaid dutiful day, as i could hold anything and no one could tell in pictures haha Sticky zipper made for a momentary lesson in patience. Highly recommend this dress, just make sure you focus on posture-- it really helps the neckline lay much more perfectly for pictures.

This dress was more beautiful than expected, and I expected beautiful! Typically I wear size 6 or 8 and in this dress I was an 8. It is comfortable and I loved how the fabric flowed as I walked. Glad I saw the reviews about the zipper that does not zip. Soap fixed it. Will use Rent the Runway again.

BEAUTIFUL style, fabric and feel. I received so many compliments on this dress! Because of the relaxed fit, it wasn't necessary to wear spanx--definitely a plus in June. Loved the feel of the fabric AND the bonus pockets. I rented 10R, but wasn't able to do the side zip, so wore the 12R. Enjoyed not having to tug/pull every time I moved. I would definitely recommend renting this.

The fit was perfect. The gown is extra comfortable. I'm super short but it wasn't too lengthy when I had heels on. It seems like a simple gown but the back design and the jewel accents give it a special touch! I absolutely adored this gown!

I had the best experience renting this dress! It was comfortable and the perfect length with small heels (I'm 5'6"). It photographed beautifully and I received so many compliments. Plus, it had pockets! I would highly recommend renting, and even buying, this gorgeous gown.

Very comfortable to wear - love the pockets and the full skirt - didn't have to worry about it clinging in the wrong places! Had to get a sticky bra as there's no way to wear a normal or even a strapless bra with this because the back is quite open. So glad I ordered a Petite, because the other two dresses I received in Regular length were too long. I cannot wear really high heels. I was able to wear comfortable wedges with about 1.5-2 inch heels! I would definitely order again, but would make sure I always get a Petite!

I originally rented a different dress by the same designer, and unfortunately it was too snug. I had worn a size 6 last year of a different dress, and the 8 was too small of another design this year. So, rent the runway happened to have this blue dress in stock at the store in a size 10. And it fit perfectly.

I had my eye on this dress for a full year (ever since I saw someone wearing it at my boyfriend's law school ball last year). This year it was my turn! The zipper was literally impossible to get up at first, so I thought I was going to have to wear my backup dress, but we rubbed a candle on it and that solved the problem. It's a little tight around the waist, but that might have just been because I'm tall and have a long torso. I felt like a princess all night! Plus: pockets!

This is by far my favorite rental from RTR! It was so flattering, and I received compliments all night! The high neckline perfectly offset the open back, and the jeweled waist had just the right amount of bling. I ordered the 6 and the 8, and the 6 fit perfectly. The zipper does like to get stuck, so you'll have to mess with it a bit, but dang, it's worth it. Also, the pockets are just perfection. I'd rent this again in a heartbeat!

I wore this dress to a military ball in December and absolutey loved it! As the other reviews state, the zipper is difficult. I am 5'8" a s the dress was the perfect length. I wanted a 2L but a regular was available and was perfect because it left me just enough room to walk without tripping but still long enough in my opinion. Beautiful dress, simple yet elegant!
