This was a backup dress but I ended up loving it so much. It was so elegant! The ruffles especially were so much fun. It fit well and draped beautifully. I wore an adhesive bra but probably didn't need it. I'm not talk and the length was perfect with heels. This dress is the perfect mix of classic, dainty lace and goth aesthetic!

Twirl. Thats all. Comfy cozy, a friend may need to zip you in the back, beautiful and comfortable so Happy I won't have to adjust myself at the wedding multiple times

I wore this gown for a black-tie event and paired it with the two tone beaded earrings by Oscar De La Renta. I'm 5' 3" and even with heel, the front of the dress was a little bit too long. I used double side fabric tape and made it shorter. It allowed me to walk comfortably all night. The lace is very nice and the color a true black. The back of this gown is what made me decide to rent it and I was not disappointed!

I could have worn either the 6 or 8, but ended up deciding on the 6 to have a better/tighter fit. Dress was comfortable and great for a formal/wedding occassion. Would definitely recommend and rent again!

This dress was AMAZING! I wore it to a formal fundraiser last night and I loved everything about it! It fit perfectly and I recieved many compliments on it throughout the evening. The bodice is very giving and comfortable. I was a little worried about the back because you can "see" skin, but the dress is so elegantly made, it wasn't an issue at all. An added bonus: I didn't have tomwear a bra!! I felt beautiful all evening. I can't even think of any real cons to report. The ONLY thing I thought was just not smart on the part of the designer, was the hanger straps are red, so if you tuck them in, and they happen to move during the night, they are easily seen. If they were black, it wouldnt be a big deal at all. RTR delivered easily and actually a few hours ahead of when they initially said they would. My stats: 5'6.5", 138 pounds, column shaped with wider shoulders. I normally wear a size 6, wore an 8R in this and it was perfect. I wore heels that were at least a couple of inches high and if I would have gotten the long, it would have been too much. I highly recommend this beautiful dress!

Rented this dress for a destination black-tie optional wedding. It fit perfectly, no adjusting and no bra needed. Many of the guests came up to me just to compliment the dress. It was fun to dance in and comfortable enough to wear to the after party! Loved it!

This dress was perfect for a formal event. I typically don't like to wear black to a gala; however, the subtle details on this dress set it apart from the others in the room. The lace and tiered skirt don't show that well in photographs, but it was beautiful in person!

I’m a size 10 in pants and 8/10 in dresses. I wore a 10R and it fit great! There is no stretch to the dress and regular fit my 5 10 height. I love the lacy back, at 36c, I found a backless bra gave good support.

I rented this for my daughter for prom - she wanted something elegant and unique and this dress was perfect! She received lots of compliments! The dress is long, we rented an 8R. We debated on an 8L as she's 5'8", and wore 4" heels, but a long would have been too long. This was our second experience with RTR and I couldn't be happier.

Love this dress. Loved it so much I rented it for a second time for a black tie event. I'm 5'3" and dress was a tad too long however works well with the right heel. Absolute showstopper and great for hourglass shape. Very comfy too. Has give around the waist. May have to commit and buy it!

My husband told me I looked glamorous and classic. What a beautiful lace gown - photos don't do this justice. It fit perfectly - I wore 4 in heels and it just dusted the floor.

This dress was perfect for a formal work Gala. The fit was amazing, very comfortable and I didn't need a bra. The ruffles are very flattering around the mid-section. The dress runs small so maybe size up for your back up dress. The only negative was that the lace around the bottom of the dress sometimes got caught on my shoes so good idea to pick up the hem as you walk!

This was my backup dress and I am SO glad! It was so lightweight out of the bag that I thought it would look cheap, but once on, it was beautiful, especially the open back. Fit perfectly and very comfortable for a night of serious dining and dancing. Another added plus was no need for a bra because it fit so well. Highly recommend this dress.

This dress was everything I could've asked for in a prom dress! It's very classy, great details, and I LOVE the slim fit while still being very forgiving in places like the lower belly. It looked great, photographed well, was very comfortable, true to size, and gorgeous. You won't regret renting this one!

Extremely flattering and comfortable. No bra needed for my 34 DD, I only wore spanx for my own comfort. The most comfortable gown I have ever worn. The length was perfect and I only wore 2" heels. It was a warm night as well and I wasn't hot in this dress. It made this evening perfect!

The best part is this dress can be dressed up or down. I wore to a welcome dinner for a wedding that was moderately fancy. I felt comfortable and looked nice. The lace is flattering and fun. And you can wear a normal bra

This was one of the most beautiful dresses I've rented. I ended up selecting it last-minute and I'm so glad that I did. Lots of compliments and a great fit. The only issues were that it was a little long and the hem got caught on my heel a lot, and there were some small holes in the lace near the top of the back of the dress. Overall, I loved wearing this dress and would definitely recommend it!

Fit well

I'm 5'8, currently 150lb, 36B, and smaller on the top with a thicker bottom half. I have been wearing a 6 or 8 so this runs a little on the smaller side - based on other reviews I ordered an 8 and a 10. The 8 fit perfectly, was very comfortable, and definitely made me look thinner than I am. I was worried about it being too short since it is regular length but with 3.5 inch heels at 5'8, it was perfect. No bra was a pro for me...but figuring out a bra that would work would be difficult so this probably isn't for women who aren't comfortable going bra-less. The bottom is not as sheer as it looks in the picture but I would have preferred the lining to be a little longer. It came an inch or so above mid thigh on me while standing so I had to watch it didn't ride up and pull it down nearly every time I sat down or stood up. Overall, this is a very flattering and comfortable dress.

This dress doesn't photograph nearly as well as it looks in person. I wore it to a Gatsby themed auction and it was perfect. The detail is stunning and the best part is the lace is a bit stretchy which makes it so comfortable, I didn't want to take it off.

It was a wonderful dress- got many compliments the entire wedding. I got a size 2 and 4-the 2 worked but was a bit baggy on top and I wish I would of gotten the 0. Overall very happy with the selection!

Loved this dress! It runs a bit tight in the bodice and like most designer gowns the zip track is hard to zip up. However with that said, the lace is super soft and comfortable! The overall design is perfect for everyone; short, tall, curvy, sporty build, skinny, and all. It gives you just the right amount of coverage and detail to fill in every gap! I received compliments all night long!! I suggest sizing up one size if you are larger in the chest area. Anything a C and above will wish they had more room! I am 5'4, 132 lbs, 34 D. So glad I ordered the size 6! I opted not to wear any bras as it gave me some more room for adjustment in the chest area. The dress has enough lining to carry someone without a bra. Definitely a gown to leave the mind guessing and wondering in a good way! I would rent it again!

This dress was so comfortable, especially because you don’t need a bra. I loved this dress and felt great all night. I got the 4 and 6 and I didn’t even take the bag off the 6 because the 4 fit so perfectly. I have a really narrow ribcage area, a small chest, and an average size hip area and this dress was just perfect. From what I can see on other reviews, it seems like this dress is flattering on many body types.

I am usually a 6Regular in dresses. I think this dress was just a tad smaller, but I still fit it ok. This was my first rental from RtR and I am happy! I received so many compliments on this dress! I am 5'4 and measure about 36C-27-37, and with 4 inch heels, the length was perfect.

I ordered an 8 and 10 bc I know formal wear can be smaller. I was 12 weeks pregnant at the time of this event so I ended up wearing the 10. I received lots of compliments and it was very comfortable
