This dress was very comfortable, fit well around the top, was loose but not baggy around the mid-section, and had large pockets which is so much more helpful than I even thought it would be! I wish I would have bought this dress as I have had several more occasions I wished I could have worn it.

Loved the look of this dress. Pockets are always a plus for me, and I found the style very flattering. However at 5'7" it was too short.

I am really small in the waist and large breasted, so it is usually very difficult to find a dress that isn't baggy around the waist if it fits in the bust. This was really a nice fit - a little snug across the breast but it definitely worked and I loved it. It didn't slip down and stayed up all night. The 0R was great with 5" heels since I am only 5' 3".

The dress fit perfectly, except that it was a little long with 3-3.5 inch heels. My backup was a 6P and the length on that was perfect, though the fit was a bit big. I wore this to a formal gala, and I was very pleased. I'm a 34B but there was definitely still space in the bust area for bigger boobs. Still, I felt it did a great job staying up; I wasn't pulling the top up throughout the night at all. It was perfect for the occasion. It wasn't flashy, but it was completely appropriate and comfortable and it felt and looked like an expensive gown. It was also nice not to have to wear any special undergarments. I didn't have to worry about panty lines or even a strapless bra (I just went without!). This dress is perfect for someone who is a little wider at the hips and doesn't want attention being drawn there. A great bonus was the pockets. Completely hidden, I was able to go without a purse and put my ID, credit card and phone in there!

LOVED this dress! A little heavy but beautiful. I ordered the 4L and the dress was the perfect length while wearing 3 inch heels. There is a strap on the inside of the dress that connects around your waist, so you don't have to worry about pulling it up throughout the night. Super comfortable and would definitely wear this to another event!

I truly loved this dress. I got so many compliments on how flattering it was. I say it's "true to size" because it did fit almost perfectly, but I did needed to keep pulling it up because it wasn't tight enough in the chest. Wasn't an obnoxious amount but had to do it occasionally... if you pick a second size I'd actually order a size down instead of up. Great price, gorgeous dress!

Measurements: 30E/23/34 - Height 5'5 1/2 - Weight 113lbs Being large on top & short / small-waisted, it's difficult to find dresses that flatter my shape. I usually have to choose between tight or baggy. This dress is perfect. Very flattering and comfortable without being too sexy or too modest. Unlike most strapless gowns, I could easily raise my arms over my head without falling out and it never slide down during my 6 hour event! The only downside, it is long. If you are 5'5 and under, be prepared to wear VERY high heels! I wore 5' heels and as you can see in the photo the dress almost touched the ground. However, it was totally worth it! Fabulous dress for any formal event!

I am obsessed with this gown! The fabric has no stretch so I would recommend sizing up for your back up if you have fuller hips or a fuller bust. There is a built in bodice for support so you are able to wear it without a bra. I love the convenient pockets and the straight sleek look. At 5'10", the length of the dress hit right at my ankles when I was wearing heels. Pair with a necklace and black heels!

The dress in 0R was a little tight but the 2R wasn't quite tight enough. It looked amazing on. The material is thicker and stiffer than it looks in the picture to give the shape. The pockets were amazing. I got tons of complements. Highly recommend.

This was a last minute replacement for another dress that didn't fit- this dress fit perfectly. It was a 12L but I noticed that the front hem was completely torn out? You couldn't notice, the fabric is very flattering. This dress has pockets!! Loved it, got a ton of compliments. Worn to a formal Christmas party with a black/white theme.

The size 6p fit perfectly. My 3 inch heels were just high enough. My only discomfort was the metal wiring that was part of the the dress was partially poking out on each side and the sharp point was jabbing me. It was manageable and worked for the night. Overall I was completely satisfied with how it turned out.

This was the first dress (out of 5 from rtr) that I had to request an emergency size. Normally I am either a 4P or a 6P and neither fit, with the 6P I could latch the top comfortably and had plenty of room on the sides so it would have zipped if it weren't for the INSANELY tight middle band. Thanks to rtr's great service they got an 8P to me right away. But the middle band was still so tight, absolutely no stretch, I was able to zip it but the top was a little loose. That being said, I do have a large rib cage and very straight figure, if you are am extreme hourglass or busty this dress could be for you (rent with caution, I followed the sizing chart, I am an amateur seamstress, and this still happened). The pockets are huge, and you could definitely hide a baby bump with them (lol). I am 5'3" and wore 3" heels and the dress was the perfect length.

I rented this for a military ball. I ordered a 10R since I had a 15lb weight gain since the last military ball I went to. The dress fit comfortably and was overall flattering to my figure. As you can see the 10R had a little bit of room but wasn't baggy. The dress cuts in at your natural waist on top. And the skirt fills out over your tummy and hips. It creates a retro silhouette while hiding potential areas on your body you may want to hide. Bonus: I could eat dinner and still feel comfortable in this dress.

I tend to stay far far away from anything strapless because of my small chest, but that was not an issue with this dress. The sides and back are semi-see through, so I wore a sticky bra for some added padding and it stayed up beautifully! There is a small waist band on the inside to keep it snug. I wore flats and the gown just skimmed the ground. The only con was it rubbed under my armpits a little after several hours in the dress. Apart from that, it was beautiful!

Pretty dress with pockets, but a little big for the chest/bust. Kept having to pull up the dress despite using the inner clasp designed to hold the dress up.

The top of this dress is stunning. Interesting effect at the hips in which it bubbles out, however too much material that it flaired out giving a lower tummy bulge appearance.

Very elegant dress, beautiful handiwork. Materials is silky and thick so good quality. Just a bit somber as it's all black and the details of the dress are not apparent.

Love this dress! I ordered a size four, but could have gone to a size two because my breasts (34 B) were a little small to fill it out and is shifted around a little. The best part of this dress is that it has pockets so you can store your phone in your pocket and it doesn't show, no purse needed. You won't be disappointed with this dress.

The 0 fit perfectly except for the length. I normally don't wear the "petite" sizes in jeans and dresses and other things when shopping, but the regular was dragging even in 4 inch heels.

This dress was absolutely stunning and extremely well made, it made me feel beautiful and comfortable for the entire evening. The weight of the dress would have been perfect if it was a normal october night in New York, but I did seem to overheat a few times during the night but it was completely worth it. The dress had a beautiful silhouette (especially for women with a larger butt and hips) and the belt underneath the dress kept it up and in place all night. I ordered a 10R and wore it with three inch heels, but the only upsetting thing was that the hem on the bottom had come delivered undone and my heel constantly got stuck, but other than that this dress was incredibly and I would 10/10 recommend renting!

Used this dress for a black tie NYE wedding and it was perfect! Cons - was too long for my height. A good brand of double sided fashion tape would have made it work but because I originally ordered a 2 & 4 for back up I wasn't aware of how long it would be. Pros - inside strap to help keep the dress up around your chest, true to size, & pockets (my favorite!) Customer service was impeccable for needing to swap sizes last minute (and the weekend of NYE at that!).

The proportions on this dress didn't work for me. I rented the 8 and 10 based on reviews. The 8 was too tight across my back (wouldn't close) but fit well everywhere else, but the 10 zipped with no problem, but there was just way too much material everywhere else for it to be a good fit. Not the right proportions for my body!

The bodice in this dress is way too tight. I was unable to zip it up once I got to my bust level, and I'm only 32B. There is an elastic belt on the inside of the dress that clips in the back. I'm assuming that it's meant to cinch in the waist and keep the dress up, but that doesn't help with the bust. It's a beautiful dress, I just advise to go up a size.

This dress is a solid black tie choice. The pockets make it comfortable and great. My only issue was the top. I wear a 32C cup and still felt like I could not fill it out.

I did not wear this dress because the top and hips were way too big. However, the waist fit very snug. This dress is for a unique body. I'm 38 x 28 x 38; the waist was tight but the chest and hips were way too big. I suppose it could work for someone with a VERY tiny wast, so the chest and hips fit normally.
