I loved this dress-- I wore to a formal wedding in February. It was a heavier material, so it was a great weight for that time of year. Honestly, I was a little warm dancing, but the lace sleeves gave me some room to breathe. I thought the dress was comfortable and although i thought the lace might be itchy-- it was not! And my favorite part was no bra!!! I read other comments so i took my chances (i ALWAYS wear a bra), but i felt supported and i didnt look like i was sagging! Yay! The color was stunning (my favorite color!) and was complimented on how pretty the dress was and how it complemented my (pale)skin/(blonde)hair/(green) eyes. Winner! Ps-- next time i'd wear spanx to hide my belly a bit. :)

This dress is true to size. I'm 5'3", 140, 34D. It fit like a glove and I was able to wear this dress without a bra and it still felt appropriate and snug (in a good way). The dress is a bit heavy and for me the sleeves were a bit long, but neither of those things bothered me. The dress is even more ornate than the pictures show. I paired it was matte black heals and a black/purple/green sparkly clutch.

This dress came as the backup style after my original choice was unavailable. I was pretty bummed that I didn't get to wear my first pick, but I ended up really liking this look. The fabric itself is gorgeous, and the heavy weight of the lace was great for a November wedding. The sleeves hit just the right spot on my wrists, the length was good, and I liked how it fit around my waist and hips. The fit on top was a little less great since I have a small chest and somewhat broad shoulders. This style doesn't really allow for a bra or other padding, so the fabric was a bit loose around the chest (though thick enough to provide coverage). The shoulders were a little snug, too, so I couldn't really raise my arms above my head while dancing, but I think I would have had that issue with any long-sleeved dress. Overall, I loved how it looked, but wish I could have worn a style with a little more movement to it.

This is a very beautiful dress and I received many compliments on it! It is a little form fitting, especially for women with my body type, so I made the choice to size up from my regular 18W to a 20W and am very happy that I did! If you have wider hips, this does not give you very much roominess, so keep that in mind. Very heavy material, so be sure to order this for your fall/winter events. Overall, a great experience with this dress.

Fitted dress -conservative but very classy

Perfect dress for a formal evening work event. Very flattering, sophisticated look. I used the size 8 (sized up) as it is form fitting.

Received a 4 with 6 as backup. Wore the 6, so had a little breathing room. Lace was very pretty and the dark green was perfect.

While others describes this dress as "heavy", I found it very slimming and glamorous for a fall wedding. Note that the back is sheer so I had to get creative with my bra situation! I got tons of compliments on this dress and felt beautiful. Win win.

I wore this to my company’s holiday party and it was really nice. Was very luxe and gorgeous. The material was itchy and had absolutely no chest support!

The dress was cute, but not my favorite. I have broad shoulders and strong back muscles so the dress was a bit tight in the back, but doable. I think one size up would have been too big everywhere else.

The AC was on full, but this dress kept me very warm. Fit well in my usual size and comfortable. Downside was I couldn't wear a regular bra and I was away, so getting anything new wasn't an option. The dress was also very heavy, but as I said, that was too my advantage. Loved the ivy color!

Fits true to size, thick material so perfect for Winter, sexy fit.

The fit was tight, so I didn't need to wear a bra which made the back of the dress beautiful. It was an appropriate dress for a black tie optional wedding.

The fit is extremely flattering! It is a nice tight fit (so don't eat any burgers before wearing it haha) It was perfect for a winter wedding and surprisingly it was comfortable even though it was tight! LOVE LOVE LOVED IT

I loved this dress. The color is beautiful and the weight of it was perfect for skimming over any "trouble spots". I wore a size larger than I intended to as my first choice was not available at the last minute. It was a bit loose but not bad- plenty of room in the arms and bust I wore this with a stick on bra that wouldn't show in the back. I did not want to send it back!

I wore this for my dad's wedding, which was a 40 degree day with an outdoor ceremony. I couldn't have asked for a better dress. It kept me warm, I got a ton of compliments. It was long. I loved it! It was loose but showed my shape. If I wanted it more form fitting I could have gone down a size but overall looked great. My sister and I rented the same dress, instead of buying expensive bridesmaid dresses. We are different shapes and heights but it looked perfect on both of us.

This was a last minute substitution to a different dress but it was perfect! I wore it for 12 hours straight while wrangling 2 kids and it was so comfortable. The lace is heavy but I'm always cold. Biggest minus was that the buttons on my son's suit kept getting stuck in the lace. The dress was also looking rather worn and was fraying on the end of the sleeves. Otherwise highly recommend!

Beautiful dress!

This dress was great! I am 5 months postpartum and wore it with Spanx. It was form fitting enough but comfortable to move and dance in. I couldn't find a nubra in my cupsize so I went without a bra and I don't think it was noticeable. I felt that it would have been nice to have a little more room in the armpit area but they may have been due to my long arms. The color was beautiful and I got lots of compliments. This was my second rent the runway rental and I'm a believer.

This dress was really beautiful - intricate details. The pictures don't do it justice. Definitely can't wear a bra with the back of the dress. The dress is a little heavy but kept me warm in the Chicago winter.

I wore this to a friend's courthouse wedding and casual reception. I was looking for something that respected the formality of the affair without being too over the top. This dress was perfect. I got a million compliments. The color and texture make the dress unique. It fits pretty true to size - I am usually a size 4 in dresses, this one is body hugging which usually makes me size up to a 6, but this dress fit fine in the 4. One note would be that if you tend to carry your weight in your butt/thighs, this can definitely get a bit tight after hours of wear so wear spandex or something to keep your legs from becoming chafe city.

I loved this dress but I think it would have been better to wear to church for Christmas. My partner was a little underwhelmed with it which is never the reaction you hope for as a woman. I think it looked sensible and reserved though which is great if you're not wanting to be the person who is talked about for wearing something inappropriate.

Absolutely gorgeous dress, the multiple layers of lace create an effect that just has to be seen in person. The dress is heavier than it appears, which makes it perfect for late winter early spring nights

I originally rented this dress for a wedding, but I had a death in my family a few days before, so I ended up wearing this to a funeral instead. It ended up being the perfect dress for this unlikely event and I'm so glad I still got to wear it given the circumstances. I normally am a size 4 however I couldn't get the zipper closed up around my rib cage so I went with the 6 and it fit perfectly. So sad I had to send this dress back!!

Thick heavy fabric, very warm. Slight stretch and very structured. No Bra friendly even to those with Large busts. Intricate back detail that I really loved. Hem hits just below knee. I am 5'5 and wore 3.5 in heels. Perfect for a conservative work event, or wedding. Well made. Go one size up for backup.

I am about 5'4'' and weigh around 116. This dress fit me perfectly. I was a afraid of how it would fit me, being that I am very skinny with a little curve in the hip area. The dress has NO stretch, so be mindful of that. The material is nice and heavy, which made me feel comfortable in this Fall weather. I would definitely rent again!

Got this dress as a back up and ended up wearing it to a wedding because it was a chilly evening. As soon as I walked into the reception people were complimenting me on this dress! The photographer stopped me twice and said how classic and elegant this dress was. Super comfy and hated to send it back! Loved the dark green color as well!

The lace dress is a bit heavy, but was perfect for an October wedding at a vineyard. The dress looks somewhat conservative from the front, but the back has a sheer material on the upper half of the back. It's a great detail that I really appreciated and made me feel really sexy. I got the 8 and 10 and wore the 8 which fit perfectly. Because of the rather open back, I decided to not wear a bra and it worked well (I'm a 34DD, 152lbs, 5'6" usual dress size is an 8). Overall, the dress can be accessorized for a wedding, holiday party, or a night out. The lace didn't feel scratchy.

The dress had no stretch to it so I probably could have gone with a size 6 even. It was hard to move in the dress. If I was standing up the entire evening the size 4 would have been perfect. I got lots of compliments.

The dress is a gorgeous deep green color. I could not get my arms in the 6 so I went with the 8, which was more comfortable to move around in overall. The 8 was not as form fitting so it sagged a little in the mid section. With the open back, I wore pasties. No support in the front of the dress.

I rented this for a formal event with lots of older guests and wanted a more conservative look with a looser fit. I ordered a 4 but 2 would have been enough. The dress fabric is so thick, it will not inappropriately hug any part of your body. I found it to be unflattering because of the thickness and ended up wearing another dress, but I could have worn it in a pinch.

Ture to the size so don't eat too much and fabric does not stretch. Not a dress to wear in the summer not very dreathable. The color I picked was a dark green very elegant perfect dress for a wedding .

The dress fit well, comfortable and fuss-free. I'm glad because i had to wear this dress all day, going to a Luncheon Fashion Show in the late morning in one city and then hopped on a plane to an Award Ceremony in another city. No time to change. The Flight Attendants even complemented me on the dress. It logged in over 600 miles that day! The 2 negatives 1) the back stole the show, but nothing was going on in the front.
