Very nice for party. Ran a bit small as I remember but I was comfortable. I think the shoulders were a bit tight, and I am small shouldered for my height. You most likely will not need a bra as it has support. Very nice holiday dress. Loved it.

This was a lovely dress for a wedding I attended in the winter. The lace did have some snags in it, but nobody noticed. The dress runs true to size, but the lace sleeves are a tight fit. I would size up if you're worried. If you have a small bust and larger hips, this dress is great. I had the benefit of trying it on at the Georgetown location first. It fit perfectly there. I don't think the lace holds up well to all of the wears. Besides the snags, mine was loose in the back on one side. It was easily fixed with double sided tape, but a minor inconvenience. I'm 5'4" and the dress was a perfect length hitting just below the knee. Overall, the dress was perfect for a semi-formal wedding and I received a ton of compliments.

I love this dress. Wore it to a bat mitzvah. I actually rented 2 dresses because I wasn't sure which I wanted and rtr was running a great special. I got so many compliments. The dress is tight in the sleeves and from other reviews I did order in my size plus the next one up and ended up wearing the larger size. I was worried about the length because I have short legs but it worked great with a pair of pumps.

Loved this dress and got a ton of compliments! It was perfect for a fundraiser. Business in the front, party in the back. I am 5'9" and 140 lbs and would have worn the 6, but the arms were a little tight so I sized up to the 8. The arms were more comfortable but I did have some room in the rest of the dress, but I don't think it was noticeable to anyone except me. Overall a great dress, just be sure you have someone who can hook the back for you as I couldn't do it on my own!

I rented this for a fundraiser event with a rather conservative crowd. This dress was very pretty, classy, and yet sexy... all while covering up most of me. I'm 5'8" tall, 145 pounds and a 36B. The back is all open, which was fine with my smaller bust - I just didn't wear a bra. I didn't feel the need to pump up my girls in this dress, as the focus is on the lace neck and sleeves. Just a really pretty dress. Great for when you need to dress a tad conservatively, yet still want to stand out.

Beautiful hour glass fit. Everything about the cut was perfect. I loved the built-in cups so I did not need a bra and it was just enough of a push up. The open back is super sexy.

For ladies with a larger chest, you'll probably want to go up a size. The size 2 would have been perfect but was so tight around my chest/upper arms that I could barely move. Went with the size 4 and it looked and felt great! A beautiful, classy dress!

Typically wear a size two, however glad the back up size 4 was included. The lace arms of the size 2 would not pull up my arms (I do not have big arms). The size 4 was comfortable but still needed assistance with hooking the neck part of dress together. Very classy, elegant, yet sexy dress worn at a work awards banquet. Will definitely rent again!

I am not a small woman, I am 5'11" and 185 pounds (the real truth!) This dress was a wonderful length, and I would rent it again. I wore it for NYE and got a ton of compliments. You will not regret this, I wore a size 12 and it was true to size and I had room to sit and move comfortably. I didn't wear a bra because there was a built in, but my girls aren't that big :)

Once again, RTR did not disappoint! I rented for our department holiday party. This dress is made well and was a great fit. Form fitting but comfortable and able to move all night. I actually go back and forth between a size 2 and 4, the 4 in this dress fit better in the arms but was a little loose throughout the body, so I went with the 2. For anyone who is more on the athletic side with muscular arms, I found that the lace in the forearms and upper arms was difficult to get on and a little tight. This required a little more work to get into the dress, but once on, it was fabulous! I did love the zippers on the ends of the sleeves though, that helped with the overall fit and look of the dress. The lace around the neck got a tad itchy toward the end of the night but definitely tolerable and not distracting. The length on me was spot on, I'm shorter so it hit me slightly below the knee which I prefer. The back is the perfect amount of glamour and sex appeal and was not loose at all. For me it was easy to wear without a bra. So beautiful! I got compliments all night! Will definitely rent again.

Wore this dress to a holiday work party at a castle! The dress was perfect for the occasion. It is a sexy dress! I love, love, love the open back!! Very comfortable, fits true to size. I have an athletic build, and the sleeves are for very thin arms, not muscular arms, so I had to go up a size. I rented a size 6 & 8 and ended up wearing the 8, because of the narrow arms. The length is perfect, goes to mid shin. There is no need to wear a nubra as this dress has built in cups. I would love to rent this again, I got so many compliments on this dress!!!!

Rented for a Christmas party and have never had a dress for more perfectly. I'd rent it 100 times again! Lace is perfect, sleeve not tight which was a fear, not too warm in a crowded room with it on. One of my faves if not the fave!

- Worn for a company Christmas party - Wore it in winter, and the long sleeves and long length helped to keep me warm, although the open back kind of offset that! - It is sparklier than what it seems in the picture. I am not a sparkle girl, but I actually liked this and it was understated. - Others have stated they had issues with the underlay riding up; I did not. - In terms of fit: Bust- I have an A/small B bust and I felt almost uncomfortably 'empty' in the dress (even though there are cups). I ended up using stick on pads to fill it up a bit more and it helped a lot. I think that not have the back to pull it snug around the bust caused this feeling, too, so someone with a bigger bust would probably feel better. Arms- Careful here. I am a size 2 in bust and hips but probably a 4 in arms. I *just* fit into the arms of this dress, and there is no give there, so if you have larger arms you might want to opt for a larger size. Waist- I probably have a 0 waist so this was a tad big on me, but not too noticeable. Legs- Perfectly snug around my thighs, and a really nice length. I am 5'4", and I think anyone shorter than this might find it a bit too long. Accessories: black/silver/red/platinum. No gold. I really did love this dress, and I loved that it was classic yet sexy. I'd call this a mullet dress: work in the front and party in the back;) If it was mine I'd probably have it tailored a tiny bit, but for 1 night it was perfect. Would recommend absolutely.

I have an athletic build with broad chest, back, and shoulders and a small waist and hips which can make wearing dresses off the rack a nightmare. This dress fit like a glove. The open back allowed for plenty of room for my broad upper torso and below that the dress tapered in for a fitted (while not uncomfortably snug) look. It also was the perfect length and sleeves were perfect length as well which is another feat considering I am 5'10. I received compliment after compliment on this dress all night. Safe to say I will never purchase a dress for a formal event again.

I ordered the 2 and the 4 and wore the 2. The fit was perfect and the dress was comfortable with the exception of the lace at the neck, which was rather itchy.

The sleeves were a bit tight when I first put the dress on, but they did seem to loosen up as the night went on. Also, it's a good dress to wear in colder weather because it was very warm. I was worried about the neck being too tight, but it did not bother me at all. I feel that it was true to size, but I'd probably get one up as the extra size since the sleeves can run a bit small. It's a great dress for weddings or holiday parties. I definitely recommend this!
