My original option didn't fit, I'm so happy I got this as a back up and that it ran true to size. Has a very romantic/chic look to it. LOVE the pockets, and was very comfortable in this dress.

I'm not used to wearing designer dresses, so maybe I'm unfamiliar with sizing - I was surprised to need the size 18. I generally wear a 14/16, but the 18 was perfect even for my larger bust. It felt supportive enough not to need a bra although I could have squeezed in a strapless if I'd wanted. The dark red embellishment and the sleeves have raw edges so it does have an unfinished sort of feel but it's beautiful. Many compliments.

This is THE dress if you are going for sexy while hiding a bit of belly. Granted the shoulders fell down from time to time, but overall I have zero complaints! Tight around the rib cage but poofs out in all the right places. Oh and POCKETS! 10/10 for me!

I wore this for my husband's company holiday party. It was just the right mix of elegant and a bit sexy for the night. I recently had my son, so my body is different than I'm used to. This dress hid my current flaws (e.g., not so flat tummy) while emphasizing my current assets. The only issue I had was the straps were a little large (I'm petite so it happens) which I remedied with a little bit of wardrobe tape.

Wore this dress to a wedding, and it was my first RTR experience. I loved the dress and the experience! I'm smaller waisted (than in the hips), and it wasn't very flattering in that area - too puffy. But I did love the pockets!

I wore this dress to my friend's 30th birthday in New York. The deep merlot color was perfect for October, the fabric is beautiful and the lace trim is stunning. I have a larger bust so it was a bit tight around the bust, but was manageable. It really is the perfect classy yet sexy part dress!

It was a really pretty dress - perfect for a wedding in Texas! I loved the peek-a-boo lace at the bottom and the cap sleeves. I didn't wear a bra with it because the straps would have shown and it was fine. I also wore flats because I'm quite tall and it is a shorter dress but not uncomfortably short.

If you do not want your curves to show, this dress will hide the hips.

Absolutely loved the dress. Perfect fit and style for my body. It was definitely snug up top and the mid part was tight around the rib cage, but all in all it fit perfectly.

I am usually a size 4. I am 113 lbs, 4'9 and a 36C cup. Based on reviews, I thought I would be okay with a 4, but thank god I decided to get the 6 as a backup. While the 4 fit fine, my ribcage felt constricted when I sat down. I wore the 6 and felt more comfortable, except that the dress' sleeves kept moving around, due to the larger fit. I would rent this dress again, but as annoyed, that the size 6 was rather wrinkled in comparison tot he 4. However, all in all a gorgeous dress.

This dress fit well in a zero, and was true to size. It was not as short on me as it looked on the model, so it was very appropriate. It was perfect for a ceremony into the reception and got a ton of compliments. Would wear it again for sure!

Runs a bit large in the top. I sized down and was very comfortable. My regular size was too large in the shoulders and gaped in the bust. Size down fit quite well. The fit and flare shape is flattering and the plus size neckline shows just the right amount to be appropriate but still show off a little bit of cleavage.

I wore this dress for my New Year's Eve dinner date with my boyfriend and loved it! The deep red and black go perfect together and the fit of the dress was great. I felt amazing and it didn't hurt that my boyfriend kept saying how pretty I looked. I would definitely rent this again!

I loved this dress so much I didn't want to send it back. I wore the smaller of the 2 dresses as there was a huge difference in the one size larger, and was much too baggy at the shoulder area causing the dress to slip off. I was afraid I'd be uncomfortable after dinner in the smaller dress, but I was fine. I received so many compliments and I think it stood out among all the sparkly dresses you usually see on NYE. I will definitely rent this dress again. I took many pictures and depending on flash/lighting the dress looks more of a burgundy in low light and a brighter red in bright light. The picture I posted is more of an accurate depiction of the color. There are 3 layers to the dress. A champagne inner layer, black lace and the red. Also, I needed to steam the dress.

I'm normally a size 2, but got the 0 and 2 in case the bust was too big...and it was. So for smaller chested ladies I'd recommend going down a size. I didn't wear a bra, but the back is high enough that you could easily wear one. As others have mentioned, the v-neck is not nearly as deep as pictured on the model. Overall very cute and festive.

This dress really Surprised me with how well it fit. I was certain that my chest was going to spill out of it, but for the plus sizes, it seems that ML took that into account. There was ample room in the bust. If you are a plus size with a small bust I would be weary because while it may fir in the waist the bust may be large. The V wasn't so deep that I felt uncomfortable. I am 5'4-5'5 wearing 3.5 inch heels. The shoulder flutters were flattering and fun. Fit and flare is great for anyone who is curvy in the hips. The waist is fitted but comfortable. I would rent this for my next cocktail part for sure.

I absolutely loved this dress and I received tons of compliments. My only issue was the slip hung below the hemline at times. It was noticeable too. I had a few people notify me about the showing slip. I just went with it because I still felt and looked amazing. The dress also hides some curves. I have a bit of a tummy after birthing 3 children and you can't see it at all.

Loved this dress. 2 fit perfectly (true to size). Sleeves were a really poofy out of the bag so I ironed them down on a low setting. Overall very comfy (even 12 weeks pregnant!) Only complaint is the dress I received was really worn. Some of the lace was pulled away from the bodice. Wish it had been in better condition.

I loved everything about this dress. The little details on the bottom and the sleeves, as well as the peekaboo lace made it so special and fun. I'd absolutely order it again. Only downfall was it was pretty wrinkled when I received it and had to scramble to get the wrinkles out. That's not the dresses fault though!

Of course when I saw this dress had pockets I was sold! It had a nice low cut in the frond and loved the maroon color! I would definitely rent this again:) #pockets

I absolutely love the style of this dress. It's dark & dramatic, and garnered a lot of compliments. Most people said I was giving off "Victorian" vibes, which I'll take! The peeking lace is such a delicate touch, and I love the sleeves. They felt flirty rather than conservative, which is great. I'm a pro-sleeve gal, but I never want to look too much like a school marm. My only warning would be that there is no give in the fabric, and zipping up the dress over my chest was a two-man job. It made for some serious cleavage, but I might have preferred to sacrifice some of that va va voom for added comfort. Overall, the dress is tricky for us ladies with the ta-tas, but still very dramatic & stylish in person.

Beware that the V is low and the length from the shoulders to the bust is long so you will have to constantly remember to keep your shoulders back in order to ensure you chest won't be exposed (not that keeping your shoulders back/standing tall is necessarily a bad thing). Skirt fell at my knees which was much longer than anticipated but ended up looking fine. Would definitely rent again!

Fit: The look is definitely what I was going for and the length was just right. I didn't fill out the bust enough and the straps were loose. Nothing dress tape didn't fix. Pros: Great fabric- not too heavy or stuffy. Great dress if you're in between sizes or are trying to conceal a tummy. Definitely was flattering. Got lots of compliments for wearing something unique and classy. Cons: The straps and bust were loose. The dress tape fixed that problem, but that can be time consuming if you don't plan for it. Even if I did fill out the straps the bust, I would've still used the tape to hold down the inner lining that kept trying to peek out. The other issue was that I had to steam the dress before wearing it- especially the cap sleeves. The nature of the fabric and structure of the dress didn't make it hard to steam it- in fact, I did it pretty quickly, but it definitely had to be done or it would've looked sloppy.

After reading all of the reviews on here, I had a pretty good understanding that this dress would not look like how it looks on the model; and they were right. I am 5'9" and this dress was almost down to my knees!! I appreciated the length, but you think they could make the dress look a little more realistic on the model. Also, as you can see in my photo, the neck line doesn't go near as low as it looks on the model. Just like a couple of other reviews I read, I had to steam the dress before the ceremony. When it arrived, it had completely fallen off the hangers and was crumpled at the bottom of the bag. The dress wrinkles very easily, so you can imagine the state it was in. One of the little sleeves was sticking straight up! Lastly, because the sleeves are only an inch or 2 long, the garment loops kept falling through the sleeves. At least half of the pictures I took have the little red loops showing :( It would be best if they made one garment loop on the back where the tag would be, so that it doesn't fall through the sleeves. On a positive note, the dress was very flattering. It was slimming around the waist and I didn't feel like I was showing too much skin. Moreover, I got a lot of compliments throughout the night. Overall, I think this dress is a fantastic example of how helpful reviews can be. Though I did think the dress was pretty, I wish the pictures on RTR were a little more accurate.

I wore this for my sister's wedding reception. It was a great sexy yet romantic/vintage style. I recommend wearing a low cut/plunge bra or no bra. I loved the way it flattered my shoulders/chest and back. The only problem was that when I received it, it was worn looking and one of the sleeves was ripped. Since it was a last minute repair, I could only stitch it up by hand and the stitching came out by the end of the night. I got tons of compliments and loved wearing it!

I loved this dress! I'm usually a 6 and this dress fit me way better in the 8. It got a tad tight towards the end of the night, but considering I wore it for almost 12 hours without much complaint, I think that is pretty good. It wrinkles super easy, so keep that in mind for sitting. The sleeves were also a tad annoying since they would not lay flat! Otherwise, this dress was perfect. Great color for a fall wedding, and light material for this weirdly warm September made it much more comfortable to wear outside!

Beautiful dress with a vintage feel. This particular dress fit well however the beige lining did peek through at the bust. I wore it anyway. It still looked fine and did not detract from the beauty of the dress.

I usually wear an 18, so I got a 16 as a backup incase it ran big. Well to my surprise I put on the 16 and it fit me pretty big. I ended up adding an elastic belt to the waistline and had to safety pin the shoulder straps to my bra so that they would stay put. I'm a 40DD so it was weird for me to feel like my chest wasn't filling out the dress in this area. I'm 5'5" and it hit just below my knee. Beautiful dress though, definitely cute color combination and puffy silhouette.

Had an issue with the dress which looked a bit worn but luckily it has a vintage look so it almost looked on purpose. A bit snug in the chest but then again I'm pretty full there 34dd

Rented this for my annual holiday party I host. Such a festive dress. The neckline is gorgeous. I have bigger girls that were a little squished in the 4 but got lost in the 6 so I went with the 4. No need for a bra. Only complaint is that the neckline didn't lay right so it sometimes looked like I had a nude bra showing. So great to have pockets too! Lipgloss & phone were always right there! Big fan of this dress!

I can't say I was disappointed with this dress, but it didn't blow my expectations out of the water either. The neckline is definitely not as low as it looks on the model, but if you have a bigger chest I would recommend sizing up as it felt and looked a little small on me (I'm a 34D). The hemline is also not nearly as short. And at 5'9", that's saying something. I would have been comfortable wearing this dress without tights if the weather had agreed! I didn't like that the dress wrinkled easily. It showed up wrinkled from shipping, and steamed easily. But by the end of the night, the hemline was completely wrinkled and the cap sleeves wouldn't sit flat. It wouldn't have bothered me so much (I understand that sitting/standing/dancing is going to cause some wrinkling to occur) if the lining wasn't sticking out of the bottom. The lining material doesn't wrinkle, so it ended up longer than the outer material, and it's a champagne color so it was very visible against my tights. I did love the color and the lace, though it was darker than expected. The red is more of a maroon than it is a true red. It fit true to size like the other ML dresses I have worn, and you can probably wear a normal bra (I'd go with black) though I chose not to wear one and was fine. I did not expect the skirt to be quite as full as it was, but I love a full skirt so I was pleased by it. Oh, and the pockets were fantastic!! Overall, I'm not mad that I rented this dress. I got a ton of compliments and I think it's beautiful, but for the first time in all my rentals from RTR, this is probably not a dress I would rent again.

I normally wear a size 2 in dresses, but because of the full skirt on this one, the 0 actually fit me better, particularly in the bust area (I'm small chested). It was not nearly as low-cut on me as it appears on the model (which was probably good; I wore it to a family wedding and was worried it might be a little too risqué. But I DID think I would have liked the plunging neckline, for the right occasion?). The cap sleeves were a bit restrictive for dancing, but not terrible, and overall the dress was very comfortable. The 2 arrived in pristine condition (I think it was brand new? It still had the tags on!), but the top layer of fabric on the size 0 was extremely wrinkled (I steamed it and it helped substaintially) and the zipper stuck several times each time I zipped/unzipped it. Despite those two things, I still felt the fit was better on the 0 and opted to wear that size.
