The 2 fit like a glove, but was a little restrictive of movement, so I wore the 4. Gorgeous fabric, interesting cut—I love the trumpet flare on the skirt!—and sheer panels on the sides made subtle diagonals that slimmed the body. The skirt does ride up, however, and needs to be readjusted frequently, but wearing it was worth the fuss. No need for a bra. Again, I can't stress enough the beauty and high quality of the fabric. This dress works well for women with straighter lines; it's shape brings out subtle curves.

Fit is true to size. The color is stunning and this dress - THIS DRESS! the fit is terrific, dress it up or down - I dressed it up. It is so comfortable. It was a back up dress and I was disappointed that of my five choices this is the one that was available but that disappointment disappeared the minute I put on this dress. ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!

I got this as a back up dress since my other dress didn't have a back up size. It was perfect I had so many compliments. It was form fitting without being tight, uncomfortable, or unflattering. I would rent this dress again. It was perfect for the wedding. I wore a cami underneath because of the sheer panels but you could easily do what you are comfortable with.

Loved this dress! Tons of compliments and I felt very comfortable in it. Gets a little tight on the hips when sitting, but otherwise a dream. Wore a black bra and it worked with the cutouts. Trims the waist and flatters the butt and bust. An ornate necklace takes it up a notch.

Love the fit and cut of this dress, If busty, go a size up! True to size, no stretch.

This dress was wonderful for a spring wedding! The fit was snug but comfortable enough to move and dance around. I wore this dress without a bra due to the side mesh and was completely secure the entire time (34C). If I could buy this dress, I totally would! My boyfriend loved the look and it went perfectly with nude heels and a statement necklace. Highly recommend this dress for any special occasion!

I wanted to wear purple for the 2016 Breeders' Cup at Santa Anita Race track and this dress was perfect. It had beautiful details on thick fabric, but the sheer panels made this dress cool to wear in the hot California sun.

I'm 5'5", 130, this fit perfectly! Tight in all the right places, and the detail on the dress is beautiful. Hard to wear a bra with the see through pieces on the side. I didn't wear one.

The fabric was beautiful! Very sturdy fabric that held its shape and thick enough that you can go braless and not worry about your nipples glaring at people. You can't wear a bra with this. As a petite, the shoulders were too large, but I just pinned the shoulder seam and it was great, no one could tell and my hair covered it. Even for a petite the length was perfect above the knee. The sheer panels along the sides are discreet in person and highly visible in pictures. The waist is tight so I'd recommend this for someone with a waist true to size or smaller, if not it'll pinch the excess and show with the sheer panels

Wore this dress for a family wedding. The floral pattern is gorgeous and looks like embroidery. Great fall colors and the fit and flare was flattering. I didn't wear a bra because of the sheer panels and I felt comfortable without one. The flounce at the bottom was really fun for dancing and I got compliments all night!

The 8 gave me a little more room in the bottom portion of the dress and felt very comfortable. I usually wear anything from a 4 to an 8 depending on brand and style. It was a little looser in the bust, so I got a push-up nu bra which worked perfectly, given the side panels of the dress. The shoes were burgundy velvet pumps which matched well. The picture of the dress looks a little more red than in person. It's more of a deep purple-burgundy. This was my first time using rent the runway and it was an all-around great experience!

LOVE the color, silhouette, and mesh detail of this style! I wish I owed it! Running true to size, we recommending sizing up for backup. It is fitted at the bust, so this style works best for those with an A to a C cup size. Would recommend wearing a NuBra or no bra with this style because of the mesh cut out on the side. The dress is very fitted at natural waist, and fitted throughout midsection. Curvier women should consider sizing up for full hips. At 5'8", the dress hit right above my knees. This style is perfect to wear as a wedding guest. Pair with either nude or black heels and a gold clutch.

This dress has a great silhouette for petite renters! I have no torso, so the dress made me look taller than I actually am. The colors were perfect for a Fall wedding. I didn't realize that the mesh cut-outs went up around the side bra band areas. So keep in mind that guests will see that. There isn't much stretch to the fabric, but the fit is true to size.

I am 56 years young, 5'5 160 lbs, with a large chest. I liked the length, I thought it was age appropriate, not too short and it has a cute, stylish hemline. At first, when I took it out of the box I didn't like the mesh see thru triangles under the arms, that I didn't notice in the picture. I wore a black one piece so my flesh wouldn't show. This dress was very figure flattering, and fun to wear. I still have a summer tan left, and it was a warmish, fall evening so the darker color but sleeveless were perfect.

I am 5'6", 34-C, typically a size 2. Stylist advised size UP as the dress is very fitted in the midsection. She was correct! The 4 fit perfectly, did not need a bra as the cut offered great support, even with dancing at reception. Also, one thing that I did not see in pictures is the side panel midsection is all blue tulle. The side of bra would have been visible and thankfully bra not necessary. I did order the 6 as back up, never even tried the 6 on as the 4 was perfect.

I loved this dress! I got the size 6 and the 8, ended up wearing the 6. When I ordered the dress I did not notice that it had see through paneling on both sides in the torero, so I felt a little insecure about that, but it really wasn't that noticeable once it was on. I wore a solid black bra and it looked like it was part of the dress. If I went bra-less, I would of had some side/under boobs ( I am a C cup). The dress is made of thick fabric that keeps everything held in and was flattering. It was perfect for the wedding I attended. The ruffle on the bottom is cute and adds some fun to the dress. Overall I would recommend this dress and I would totally wear it again if I could.

This dress is so beautiful in person. It's very slimming and flattering for an hourglass figure (and didn't make me look as wide as my pics appear). I'm normally a 6 or 8 depending on where a dress is fitted, but the 8 was tight in both the shoulders/chest and the hips with room in the waist. My measurements are 35", 29", 42" and it fit like a glove but made it difficult to walk or sit due to where the hem below the hips hit and rides up when walking or sitting. Since most people don't have such a big back side, sizing up once would probably be okay for most people, but I'm going to try again with the 10. The material feels like crepe paper but has no stretch. It also has sheer cut-outs on the sides that prevent you from wearing a bra or nubra. I went braless with no issue due to the tight fit. UPDATE: Ordered in the 10, fits much better in the hips but gaps in the waist in such a way that you can see the line of my back through the mesh cut-outs. I also definitely have to wear a nubra to fill out this size. I'm wearing it anyway!

I rented a size 4 and 2 as a backup. The dress arrived clean and on time although it was slightly wrinkled upon arrival. The dress fit almost perfectly except the area around the buttocks kept sliding up when a moved. Other thank that, I received many compliments and the color was gorgeous! Although the photo is dark, be warned that the sides are mesh and may require a special bra or braless. I wore a black bra and it didn't seem too show too bad. The top was a tight fit which I imagine would be good if you decide not to wear a bra. The bottom half of the dress has a slight bell to it and flares out somewhat but it really is a great dress!

I selected this dress for a business meeting/celebration where I wanted to be more conservative but still fun. The dress was exactly that! I loved the details and the quality was top notch! The fit was definitely small. I'm usually a 4/6 and I had to wear the 8. It is tight in the back and hips. If you have any curve in the bottom half go up a size!!

Very flattering in the backside. I am proud of my figure and this showed if off. The neckline was a little conservative, however the sides were see-through which added some sexiness to the dress. Not a show stopper, but I felt good in this dress.

I got a lot of compliments on this dress! FYI the mesh will show your bra. I decided to wear a black bra and it blended nicely with the dress, so no one noticed. The dress was a little large on me, but I think I am between sizes. (I didn't have a back up size as this was the just in case replacement for my back up style. This was also the only dress I received, long story) This is my first RTR and I do plan to try it again.

I am very curvy and this dress fit well and was very flattering. My only issue was with the mesh panels on the sides. I can't go braless and it was very obvious that I was wearing one, so I used others' advice and wore a black one. Problem solved! It's fun and really comfortable. I would rent it again for sure! This dress photographs beautifully and it's true to size. It was a last-minute backup dress for me because the one I rented for a wedding just didn't work. It was a bit worn in that there was a snag in the mesh on one side (barely noticeable), but what really bothered me and kept the last star off my rating is that this dress was worn by gal/s who have more a tummy than I do, so the fabric pooched out rather than staying snug, but only in that area. It wasn't obvious from the way it hung on the hanger, but it was super obvious once I put it on. I don't have shapewear (yet!) so I just sucked in with all my might all night and kept pressing the fabric back. This dress is perfect for ladies who really want to show off their figure but perhaps the specific one I wore should be retired.

I rented this dress for a wedding but decided not to wear it. It has shear elements on both sides of the under arms and was not very flattering with my skin tone & body shape. I tried using a cami underneath and really took away from the dress. Color was beautiful and fit was great. Thick material and well constructed. Sadly had to return without showing it off!

This dress is absolutely gorgeous! The fabric and design is amazing!! I usually wear a small and am bigger up top then in the hips, so I was a bit worried with the style. However, it fit pretty well. I am 5'6", 120 lbs, 32DD. My only complaint would be that there is no support in the chest. With the cutouts on the side, I decided not to wear a typical bra. I wore a nubra instead. That did not provide any support for the girls. I was pretty self-conscious about it all night and was not really able to dance as I normally would have. It would be awesome if the dress had a built in bra and came with padding for users to add if needed. It was too beautiful not to wear, so I was just very aware and readjusted in the bathroom occasionally. I could have gone down one size to make sure the girls stayed put. However, another person mentioned the seam at the bottom (just before the flare) rode up. I got many complements on the dress! Without proper support up top, I am not sure I would order this dress again. My husband was super impressed with it though. He noticed the quality right away and wanted to buy the dress for me. Overall: beautiful material and design, I recommend it for women who do not need support for the girls!!

This dress was true to size. I'm 5'9" and it came right to my knees. I usually wear a size 2-4 and ended up wearing the 4. I was able to wear a backless bra with clear stickers on the sides and it didn't show through the open mesh sides. I got so many compliments on this dress! I would wear it again

The material is very high quality and the colors were really flattering together. I really loved the floral appliqués throughout the bodice and skirt as well as the fun bottom of the skirt. Would recommend renting this dress to anyone!

I typically wear a size 10 and was planning to wear that size. Like the other girls, this dress was tight on my butt and thighs so I decided to up the size. This dress is perfect for a woman that wears petite sizes! Loved this dress but could have done without the mesh sides. I ended up wearing a Nu bra but luckily my event was dark so no one could tell. You could totally get away with a body suit under the dress. Worth the rent!

I wore this to my cousin's rehearsal dinner. I was a bit nervous about the sheer panels on the side, but I was able to wear a regular black bra and it just looked like part of the dress. Loved the flippy skirt! I would rent this again.

I liked on the sides there was a net like fabric that gave the dress a slight amount of sexiness. I also loved the color and the length was family party appropriate!

This was a nice dress and the material was quite luxurious with purple and greenish hues. The dress is quite fitted around my bottom so I kept having to pull it down after sitting down. The side panels are semi sheer and shows a bit of side boob so I had to go braless. It was ok because the chest area of the dress was also fitted so it held the girls in place. I probably could have gone up a size just so it wasn't so fitted around the hips but then the top would be too loose. Overall a great dress and lots of compliments.

This was a backup dress to the original I ordered due to one of the selected sizes not coming back in time. RTR sent me this in two sizes but I still went with my original choice. I wish I had two events to go to as I loved this one too! The mesh sides are tasteful but there was no way I could have gone braless. There was definite side boob showing. A smaller cup size could pull it off. Otherwise I planned to wear a bandeau underneath. I liked how the bottom ruffles accentuated my rear. I don't have a full seat otherwise. The colors are really rich and pretty. I loved the lace overlay. I would consider rerenting in order to actually wear it.

The fabric and lace overlay of this dress are lovely, and I got several compliments. The fit seems to run a little large; I might try going a size down next time (I didn't have the option for a backup size in Unlimited) but my movements might be a little restricted as the fabric doesn't have much give. The flounce does make your backside look cute :) Of note! Those side panels are sheer, which I didn't appreciate on the model picture. I didn't need a bra (well structured dress, minimally endowed myself) but ended up wearing a regular nude one and it really wasn't visible without close inspection.

It's really fitted in the booty area and kept riding up así walked/danced. Had to wear a super push up bra because the top was too loose otherwise. Was tricky because of the sheer cut outs, so I wore a corset type bra to cover the cut outs completely. Got tons of compliments. Very pretty dress.

This dress is definitely fitted through the hips so for those of us with curves, I would recommend sizing up for your back up. I'm usually a 0 but had to wear the 2 because of how fitted the dress was. In an idea world, I would have taken the top of the 0 and the bottom of the 2 but I made it work. I like the pattern and color, but I think it was a little long for my height. Over all, I liked the dress but likely won't rent this one again.

I got a lot of compliments on this dress and it was fun to dance in. The fabric and build were beautiful. The lace cut-outs are navy-- not black. I couldn't tell this from other pictures. They make wearing a bra iffy so then I felt like the top didn't fit exactly right. Also had extra space around the waist. The dress had a tiny tear at the waist, right on the seam, when it arrived-- no stretch in the fabric so it really has to fit your curves.

1. You can't wear a bra unless you don't care that you can see it through the side panels...thus led to me worrying about "side boob" all night 2. The seam on the drop waist probably should tuck in UNDER your bum, but my bum was too big and it kept riding up over it and I had to constantly pull it down 3. The color is great and the details are gorgeous but the fit issues made this not my favorite

I adore this dress. The cut outs, the material, the flare... It was a stretch rental for me because it's not my usual style but it's so interesting and unique (without being too trendy) that I loved it. Now, I'm a 36DD so had to tape the ladies up - Nubras don't work for me - but even with that, I'd rent this again.

The dress fell just above the knee and was very flattering. Perfect for a daytime wedding that transitioned into an evening reception.
