I ordered a size 2 and 4 initially. I fluctuate between the 2 sizes. However, I had to re-order a size 6. The dress is beautiful! I was comfortable and danced the entire night. RTR never disappoints.

I normally wear a 6 but the lace didnt have much give to it so i went with the 8 for a better fit (on my arms and waist).

The dress had zero stretch and had a slight mermaid shape. I have larger hips so had to wear the larger size, which was still quite snug. However, once it was on, it was relatively comfortable and OH SO flattering in photos from the gala I wore it at. I got tons of compliments. Great dress, just be aware that it’s fitted in the hips.

This dress fit like a glove!! It was perfect for this gala. I was concerned because they didn’t have it in short, only regular. But my heels were just high enough to make the dress land perfectly on my shoes. However, if you are not comfortable in 3-4” heels, then it will probably be too long. Also note, my arms are pretty thin/small. If you have thicker arms it could run tight on your arms.

I loved this dress!! I wore it to my cousins wedding and received many compliments. I was worried the sleeves wouldn't be long enough but they were perfect.

Snug at ribs and loose at chest on this small B, but the gown was perfect for what I needed.

Loved everything about it, however if you’re planning on wearing a “skinny” heels, be careful about walking in the dress. Little holes will definitely catch you haha.

I'm typically a size 4, but glad I ordered a size 6R because the 4 was too snug on the hips. But this dress did not disappoint. I love this dress and how it made me feel.

Did not wear. Loved the deep purple undercoat but it was like a bag on me and was not flattering. The sleeves were very itchy & the idea of wearing for hours….. I’ve had gastric surgery 20+ years ago & maintained a 200lb weight loss but I do have excess skin that I’m conscious of, and my sizes vary greatly. 5’6 and 155-165 weekly fluctuations.

I didn’t end up wearing this one at all. It was much too short - I’m 5’ 8” and it was too short before I even put on shoes (rented the 6R.) the sleeves are quite tight and the dress has no give. It’s pretty uncomfortable.

This is such an elegant dress. The quality of the material and the cut of the dress shaped my body like a glove. The lace and my shoes had battles at times from my shoes getting caught between the lace as I walked. Overall it was gorgeous on and I got lots of compliments.

This dress is a must for everyone one time or another. Wore this to opening of this season symphony and it couldn't have started off on a better note. This dress is stylish classical and chic. The illusion lace on sleeves, neck and back add a bit of modern edge to what could potentially be another classic black dress. This dress was warm and extremely comfortable. I wore 3 1/2" heels and the dress floated elegantly to the floor. Wish I could buy this one!

This dress was perfect. I got so many compliments on it. It was a teeny bit long but I was still able to walk without tripping.

I wore this gown to a black tie wedding at the Grand Hotel in Oslo, Norway and received so many compliments on it. Gowns can be difficult for me because I'm only 5'1" but I wore the 2R and with 3" heels, it was just the right length (maybe a half inch shorter would have been perfect, but really as good as I could expect). The sleeves are double layer with mesh and lace, which was perfect for a December event. The body of the dress had a soft silk lining, which made it very comfortable.

I rented this dress for a formal event and it was a perfect.

I received so many compliments! I felt beautiful and comfortable all night. The pictures do not do this dress justice. There's no give in the material, it's very fitted. Shows off curves nicely. I'm 5'1 and wore 3.5 inch heels. That ended up being the perfect length for me. The zipper is challenging even when the dress is not being worn - you will need help. But oh so worth it!

The quality of the dress was top-notch and the gown was unexpectedly comfortable. I could walk, sit, and dance all night long.

I loved this dress! It's black lace over a purple lining. The purple doesn't show in photos, but is so pretty. The only bad thing was that my heel would get caught in it if I did not remember to lift it while walking, but that was a minor issue. I felt amazing in this dress. This dress received many compliments. The back is also gorgeous. I would definitely recommend.

I wore this dress for a military ball; the dress is nice and thick without feeling heavy. The lining has a beautiful purple-blue shade to it. I'm 5'7" and the 2L was the perfect length with 2"heels. It fit my body snug but was looser on the chest

I am usually between sizes 6 and 8. I tried both on and felt more comfortable in the 8. I also tried both short and long. If I was 2in shorter, the short would have been perfect. The long was slightly too long but still worked for what I wanted it to do, which was cover my shoes. This dress is definitely perfect for that "Addams Family" look but would also be gorgeous in any formal setting. I used this dress for the "formal" part of my engagement photos and it gave me exactly the look I wanted! Yes, the photo was taken in a cemetery. The royal purple underlay added a unique look to the dress.

Fit was pretty true (10L). I am usually between an 8/10 dependent on the bodice area (36D cup). The 8 seemed to fit, but was very difficult to zip through to the top, so I went with the 10. Enough support, I did not need a bra. I am 5’7” tall and ordered the long based on the reviews. The dress was a bit too long but manageable with 3” heels.

Wore this to a formal affair with mostly work colleagues so was looking for something conservative yet flattering. This dress felt great! I wore small heels, which made me comfortable for many hours on my feet! I didn't wear a bra which was somewhat uncomfortable yet the dress was so well lined, it wasn't necessary.

This dress worked well for a holiday event. I was looking for a long sleeve dress for Christmas event and this worked perfectly. I don't usually wear long dresses but this was very comfortable for the first night of winter. This was a backup dress but made it just in time for my event.

Wore this dress to a work Christmas party. It was gorgeous. A little tight at the rib cage. I'm 5'2 and it barely touched the top of my toes, so I couldn't wear too high of heels. Absolutely loved it and made me feel like a princess wearing it. Very elegant.

This dress fit like a glove. I wore this dress to the Kennedy Center Honors event in DC, this event is BLACK TIE. This dress fit right in. The lace was elegant and the fit was perfect. I ordered the 0R and the 2L (as a back-up). I wore the 0R, which hugs you in all the right places. The 0R was a touch shorter than what I would have wanted, but the 2L was a good 6 inches longer, even with 3 inch heels the 2L was way to long for me to be comfortable walking around, (my heels kept getting caught in the lace just walking around my bedroom as I tried it on). The pictures don't do this gown justice, the lace is beautiful. If you have a formal event I highly recommend this gown.

I rented this dress for a Halloween party to dress as Morticia Addams. This dress fits so well, is so elegant and long. I am 5'3" 110lbs 32DD. The 0R fit snugly and was long (I am wearing flats here). Love the shape of the dress. Would not recommend for any kind of dancing, it is tight and fairly warm. This dress is simply beautiful.

You know you've found an amazing dress when women and men are telling you how beautiful it is. I wear a 6 normally, because of some of the reviews...I was a little nervous about which size O should get. So I rented a 4L and a 6L to be safe as my backup dress. I'm only 5'2 but I wanted the dress to sweep the floor and not hit above my feet. So that's what I chose the Long which is absolutely PERFECT if you want that real elegant feel. I didn’t have to pick up my dress that much either. The 4L was too small...and the arms were really tight...no stretch....wouldn't even zip up a little. The 6L was so perfect! I have 6 kids so...so I have a pouch that won't go away, but this dress sucked everything in! The lace is all black but the material underneath is a beautiful purple that adds elegance to it as well. I wore this dress for an outside wedding and it was about 73 degrees...it wasn't too heavy or hot. When I mean I love this dress...I wish I didn't have to return it.

Rented for black tie affair (summer, indoors). I have to wear long-sleeves due to tattoos and this was perfect. The arms are a little big and weren't tight on me, but not baggy enough to look frumpy. Bust-area was a little large on me but the fabric is pretty structured so it didn't bother me.
