I ordered this as a back up dress for a formal event and it is absolutely gorgeous!! I just love it!! It is very figure flattering and I received a ton of compliments!! It was hard for me to send it back because I loved it so much. I will definitely rent this dress again.

The backside was a bit roomier than I would've like it but the fabric is not stretchy I know it's impossible to fit everyone unless it's custom. It was such a beautiful dress, and I received so many compliments! Black hose and black heels completed the look!

This dress was so beautiful! I got so many compliments! It is a very tight fitting dress with no stretch, so if you have curvy hips and a booty be mindful of that. However, the structure of the dress plus the lace overlay are SUPER flattering, and I would definitely rent this dress again!

This dress is exactly as described by the other ladies. There is no give or stretch, so if you plan on eating or sitting down and have actual hips, and abs that are not perfectly ripped, you will want to go up a size. It's a bit big in the bust for me, as I only needed the size up for my hips. It was still beautiful, and I got compliments all night.

Wore this piece to a friends wedding. I felt so elegant and I received a lot of compliments throughout the night. Comfortable enough and runs true to size. Might be weird sizing for women who have curvier hips.

I loved this dress! It fit comfortably (I passed up the smaller size in favor of breathing and eating at the wedding!). It was elegant, sophisticated, and different from anything else I saw among the guests. I wore diamond earrings and a gold bracelet with it, which was all the accessorizing it needed, in my opinion. The only negative - and a very minor one - was that it was extremely difficult to find the hook and eye closure. My husband did it for me 4 times before he actually got it hooked.

The dress has a very flattering silhouette. The lace and sheer top are feminine but not too revealing. I selected this dress for Christmas eve mass. I'm 5'3" and the length was right at my knee which was ideal for this occasion. The lace is a gorgeous olive gold - perfect for the holiday! My husband said that when I left the pew for a few minutes, the woman seated next to him immediately got the attention of her friends in the surrounding rows and told them to look at how beautiful my dress was!

I rented this for a pre New Year's Eve black tie optional affair. Fit great, true to size. The sheer lace has a great flattering effect & makes this dress very versatile.

I absolutely loved this dress. It was perfect for the rehearsal dinner I attended. Very fancy and elegant (something Blair Waldorf would wear). I would definitely recommend it. However, it is very fitted at the waist but it gives you an hourglass fit. I am usually a size 4 and that's what I ordered, I barely got in the dress (even with spanx) I would recommend sizing up. The gold lace isn't super bright, more of an olive golden color. Overall, I loved the dress.

The lace overlay was just the right touch. Great length and fit great. Used fashion tape to hold the strapless in place and it was perfect! Worn with a bracelet that RTR sent me, no name though. No necklace needed, just some fun earrings and heels!

This dress is so much more beautiful in person, and the fit is incredibly slimming. I received tons of compliments, and really felt great wearing it. The material has no stretch, or give, but it was still very comfortable. I usually wear a 4, but I did wear this in the 2, and it just barely fit.

This is a beautiful, well made dress. It fit snug and there is no give in the fabric. I am 5 foot six and the dress hit me at the the top of my knees. I'm also a small chested and it was just a tad big, but there isn't a lot of room around the chest. If you are large chested I don't see the dress working. Because of the sheer neckline you will need a strapless bra. I was able to make my strapless bra work but you may need one that sits lower on your back. I would have preferred to wear this dress with strappy black sandals and no stockings, but I have no tan,so I had to wear with dark sheer stockings I think the dress works with or without stockings. Overall, was a great dress.

A little longer than I find flattering on me. It hit me around my knees. Loved the fabric but it did tend to twist around so I had to straighten myself often. Very pretty details though and I got a lot of compliments.

The boning in the dress makes it very fitted and flattering. It seems to be made for long torsos. Also, not much space in the bust - fine for me, but might smoosh some more voluptuous ladies. The lace was beautiful and in perfect condition.

I rent it for my BD party, this dress fits true size but i'm a petite, so on the top it looked a little big. Dress it self looks gorgeous, i got a lot of compliments , unfortunately for me, it had a little hole on the back of the dress close to zipper side and since i was out of time for my party I had to go with that defect , it was not that visible but still i felt a little not comfy i thought every one noticed. Overall it looks great.

You need to have a bigger chest to ensure that this dress stays "up" during your event. Be very cognizant of the fact that the lace and button on the back will pop open if you're broad-shouldered and seated. It was also a bit tight to sit down in. It looked really great standing though... Also keep in mind that it's a LONG dress - it hit me right at the knees.

I rented this for a friend's fabulous 30th birthday party in mid-December. I rented the 6 and 8 as a backup. The 8 fit ok, but wasn't as flattering as the 6. It also had a tear in the lace overlay on the side, which was annoying. This is the kind of dress you'd want to fit really snugly. The boning helps keep the structure, but at the same time, it was a bit constricting. The 6 looked BOMB on me, but to be honest, I could barely breathe. I was certainly not inclined to eat anything (not the best sit down dinner dress). I have wide shoulders and ribcage, but this dress helped minimize the appearance. Waist down, this dress was a breeze to wear (yay for narrow hips). Didn't have to wear a bra with it. Wore Wolford black thigh high tights to avoid having to deal with extra layers. Paired it with crazy high gold-beaded peeptoe platform stilettos and the rentable INGE CHRISTOPHER Corsica Scale Clutch. I received a ton of compliments from the guys and girls all night! Despite the discomfort, I loved this dress. It's wonderful for a "stand up"-heavy cocktail event.

I loved getting this in the Mail and was so excited to try RTR for the first time. The dress I had originally wanted was not available for New Years so this was my 2nd choice. The dress is very pretty and the size 6 fit well, I didn't even try the 8. I am a size 34dd and the bust was a bit restrictive, but fit. This dress has no give, but was true to size. I liked it, however felt it was pretty matronly, the top is a classic, shape, with sweetheart liner beneath the lace and the cap sleeves are lovely. I would have liked it more had it been more fitted on the bottom. I have long legs and looking at he photos of myself in the dress, I don't think it looks flattering at all. I know what works for my body and thought this would be perfect, but it was just too boxy on the bottom for me.

Like others said, it's not for curvy or hippy women. I got in my usual 0 with spanks, but it was very fitted - could not bend down at all. It is also a littttle bit long for us shorties. It's beautiful and different dress. It was fun to try out this style, but would not rent again for reasons mentioned above.

The dress was beautiful. Delicate lace, cute cap sleeve. However, it seemed like there was slightly too much fabric in the top of the back. It's hard to explain, but it did not lay entirely flat. Not a huge deal, but frustrating nonetheless.

I felt glamorous and could not bend over. Like all the other woman said, it is tight in the hips and the butt. I tried on my usual size of 4 and it did not even get halfway over my booty. Defiantly get a size up. The 6 worked but it was a snug fit and I was pulling it down a lot of the night. Also the back below the sheer is very low, I wore a black strapless so you could not really tell, but if you wore a nude bra; you would be able to see it.

I wore this for a birthday dinner with my father. It was very pretty - the lace overlay gives an elegant, striking effect. The fit was a little strange - it was snug in the chest but it loose through the stomach, probably made for someone with a longer torso. The boning made it stiff rather than curve-hugging. It was a bit long for me and generally would be better for someone taller. I was happy enough with it, but I'll be looking for something stretchy next time.

The dress was really beautiful but i thought the fit was terrible. I am pretty consistent with size four dresses, and the 4 in this was extremely tight around my hips and ribs, but loose in the waist. I wore the 6, which was still tight across my hips (and I don't think I have large hips, but who knows) but better around my ribcage. The fabric around the waist was SO loose, though. From a profile view, I looked pregnant because it just poofed out in the wrong area. The fabric does not stretch at all, so if the dress fits as if it was made for you... you will look stunning! But be prepared to have it be tight/loose in the hips/waist/chest, depending upon your body type. Overall though, I got so many compliments on the dress and it was perfect against the snowy/Christmas-y backdrop.

I rented this as a back up dress for a wedding in. May in Chicago. Had it been a bit warmer, I would have preferred this one even though the one I wore was amazing too. I would say it's better for more formal events, but get it if you like some shine. Will definitely rent again.

Fit really well - no complaints!

I rented this dress my job's annual Christmas party which was held at a local museum. This dress was perfect for the semi-formal/cocktail vibe of the party. It fit great so I was able to move around and even dance a bit. My only con is that you have to be careful with the overlay so that it does not get caught in your jewelry. Overall it was great!

This dress fit great. I am usually a 2-4 (5'6 and 120 lbs) and I wore a 2. It fit great. I wore this to a winter wedding and got a lot of compliments and felt very classy in it.

This is the second rental of this dress for me. I love it!!!! The black bodice has beautiful lace overlay with gold accents. It's so soft. I have paired it with bangles from the site as well as a large cuff. Both in gold.

The dress is great and I love the splash of gold to up it from a standard LBD but while the size 2 I tried on fit great on the top it was simply too tight to wear across the hips. Made for someone with a little leaner bottom half.

It ran true to size and the length was perfect.

This really is a lovely dress. I have an hour pear shaped figure and it fitted in all in the right place. The material is quite stiff so you feel together in it. I had so many compliments. It really is stunning.

I am short (barely 5'2) and so I thought it was a little on the longer side...hit right at the bottom of my knee. If I owned this i would have it hemmed an inch or so.

I think this dress is great for a formal affair, it brushed barely above my knees which was perfect - since it was a formal affair. It's tight around the ribs and looser around the bottom - almost slightly flares out if that makes any sense. I probably should have worn the 0, but it was so tight with a bra - the rest of it fit better then the 2 though. All in all classy, fabulous dress - even with the fit being a bit odd.
