I loved this dress (and so did my boyfriend!). A stranger told me I looked like I was going to accept an Oscar. The material is great-the photo doesn't do it justice. Fit was great. Comfortable aside from the boning, but it made me look like I have curves so I appreciated them!

Fit beautifully and sexy. Got many compliments. Theres no give or stretch and theres boning around the waist so could be uncomfortable when sitting. Im 5'4" so the regular length was perfect when wearing a 3.5 inch heel.

I recommend talking to a consultant about the size you should get. I thought my size was a 6 but she told me I should get a 10 and it fit perfect! Made my curves look so good! The sweetheart neckline did not look food on my body and poked out on either side digging into my armpits. Don't plan on driving with this dress on. The front is shorter than the back and allows your shoes to be shown. This was a negative for me. Beautiful fabric and craftsmanship was amazing

I can't even count the compliments I received on this dress. It does run one size smaller than your standard size, which is normal for a designer gown. I am normally a 0 and wore a size 2. The fit was amazing. I would recommend this dress hands down.

I rented this gorgeous gown for my law school's ball. Unfortunately, there was a historic blizzard in Minnesota, which made it impossible to actually get to the ball. The dress was amazing though, and the 4petite fit perfectly. I am 115lbs and 5"0. The dress did arrive wrinkled, but I messaged RTR and they paid for me to get it steamed. Great customer service! We got some beautiful photos, but I'm very disappointed I didn't actually get to wear this dress to our event.

Fit beautifully around the waist and was he perfect length for me at 5'8", it was long enough for heels but not so long that i tripped over it in flats. My bust was a little small for it, and there was a little extra room in the booty, but I am very slender, and it still stayed up and did not look too big. I loved this dress and didnt want to take it off!

I felt like a princess in this dress! The 0 was a little snug for me but the 2 was too big. I was worried about eatting and dancing with the snug fit, but it really wasn't bad. The dress has a corset bodice, so it just took a little getting used to. The fit looks perfect in photos. Got tons and tons of compliments! Really a fun dress to wear!

The dress is beautiful. I got so many compliments. The bust area is a little tight so I had to wear the size 4 when normally I am a size 2. The size 4 however was big on my waist so I had to temporarily pin the sides in so the dress would be form fitting. I would highly recommend this dress for a formal event.

This dress does run about a size small and does fit tight in the hip area. It is stunning on though and the pictures on this website do not do it justice! I normally wear a size 2 and ordered up a size and it fit me perfect. It did come wrinkled and since it is polyester I had to take it to a dry cleaner to have them steam the wrinkles out. It was perfect for my husbands military ball. I got tons of compliments in it. Highly recommend.

This dress gave me the most amazing shape! It was incredibly comfortable, did not have to worry about it falling down, stayed in place all night (a must when chasing around a 1 year old lol). And yet it gave me such a wonderful silhouette! I was so thrilled with the overall look and I had people stopping me everywhere to compliment me on the dress. Loved, loved, loved this dress. Not to mention the RTR customer service is the best I've ever encountered. I received a size 4 which was too big and called in to try to find a 2. They found it for me at the NYC store and had it Saturday delivered to me in time for the wedding! Nerve-racking but totally worth it in the end. Will never buy a dress again, RTR is the way to go.

This dress is tight in the hips so curvy girls beware. I had to wear the 8r because the 6r was too tight around my hips and I wouldn't have been able to sit. It was difficult to get into an suv. Unfortunately the top was loose but I chose not to wear a bra and there were no wardrobe malfunctions. The material is thick and you may get a little sweaty because of the amount of material around your legs on the bottom but all I did was raise the dress a little while I was at the table to give my legs some air. I am 5'1" and wore 5" platform heels which made the dress just touch the floor in front. No one stepped on it as I walked and if I was dancing around other people I picked up the bottom and danced with it in my hands. The color is beautiful and photographs well. The bodice has light boning but the belly area is not tight so you may need spanx. Everyone complimented the dress and loved the mermaid style. This dress was on my radar for a long time and I am so happy it was available for me to rent!! If you are thinking about renting it, do it! You'll be really happy you did!

I rented this dress for a black tie fundraiser. I was really concerned about the fit of the dress. The reviews that I read differed in opinions of size and fit. I'm 5'2" on a big hair day :) . With 4 inch platform heals, the dress was the perfect length. I usually wear a size 2, but the 4 was a much better fit. I would definitely say that it runs one size small. The chest area was a little snug, but the interior strap helped it to zip up easily. I did have a small issue with the dress arriving with some wrinkles. I contacted RTR, and they were prompt and efficient in handling the issue. This dress made me feel glamorous...absolutely loved it!

I spent a lot of time reading reviews to make sure I ordered the right size. I typically wear a size 4 but everyone said the dress ran small and I'm glad I listened! I wore the 8L with 3.5 inch heels. The heels made the dress the perfect length with the front just barely skidding the ground. It fits snug and has no give, because I went with the larger size it was loose around my busy area. I wore this to a military graduation. When my husband and I walked into our hotel lobby we actually received an applause from hotel guests and staff because of our attire. The dress was a hit!

The overall dress does fit small like everyone says, so size up 1 to 2 sizes. I normally wear a size 10 and I couldn't get that size over my hips but the size 12 fit... just snug. Because I had to size up however, the top was way too big (I'm a 36B-C) and I was swimming in it. I had to wear a strapless/backless bra and buy some VS fake breast inserts as well to help fill out the large gap. With that said, I absolutely loved this dress and felt amazing in it. So many people stopped me to ask me where I got the dress and gushed over the dress. The dress photographs great, is made of a very thick (and heavy) material, and is a great gun metal color. I felt truly stunning!

This dress is amazing, it fits small so make sure you get one size up. I almost didn't fit the back up but I held my breath and got the zipper pulled up and it worked. If you are curvy this dress is for you. I wear a size I but it wouldn't go pack my hips do the 10 fit perfectly. I was the MOH at a wedding and I got so many compliments.

This dress was spectacular!! From the moment I put it on I didn't want to take it off. And in fact wouldn't. My husband had to make me change into my pjs :) Highly recommend renting this dress! And thanks to RTR staff for sending me this replacement overnight as the other dress I rented was delayed in shipping.

Loved this dress. The length was perfect. The size fit slightly awkwardly on me, but only because I have an extreme pear shape, and it wasn't noticeable. The gown was beautifully made. 10/10 would recommend.

I wore this for a charity auction and it did not disappoint. I sparkled all night. I wore a stick on bra because of the back V. It stayed put because of the boning in the body - which was restrictive. A bit hard to boggie hard in this dress. The chest was bigger on me but I think because I have a small chest, so the push-up bra worked wonders. The bra did show out the side sometimes (as you can see in the pic). All in all, you would not be disappointed if you wear this dress ...it's a showstopper!

I am absolutely in love with this gown! I rented it for my senior prom and per previous reviews decided to size up and ended up not even needing it. The 2R was the perfect length and size. In a sea full of bedazzled mermaids and slip dresses I definitely stood out in this stunning gunmetal gray gown. It photographed amazingly, and thanks to the corseted bodice my figure was accentuated beautifully! #waistsnatched The only con would have to be that the fabric did not steam very well. It looked like someone before had attempted to iron the fabric which created creases that would not come out. Besides this minor detail, I couldn't be any happier. First off - I originally ordered a 6R & 8R... then read a review on a VERY similar body type of mine and they had rented a 10R... slight freak out knowing that this dress runs a lot smaller than your original size, I called and got my size 6R changed to a 10R very quickly and smoothly! Fantastic customer service. Aside from that - I typically do wear a size 6 but I went with the 10R and so happy I did! The bust was a little tight and squished just a little but the rest of dress was perfect. You want this to fit like a glove to show off your hourglass figure! There is absolutely no stretch, none at all. No matter how much you wish. So make sure you give yourself a tad bit of wiggle room with the sizing. If your unsure about a size - go the next size up. You'll turn heads, get asked where you got the dress and feel amazing all night!

I wore this dress to my boyfriend's optometry school formal, and after weeks of dieting and exercise to fit into it, it was absolutely the dress of my dreams. A dress with a train is bound to make you feel like a princess, and after I got used to the extra fabric at the bottom (I did have to carry the hem a little all night to keep it from getting underfoot), I had no complaints. I'm more, shall we say, amply endowed in the rear, and this dress hugged all of my curves without looking ridiculous. I only wish I could keep it forever! 12/10 would recommend to make your night as special as mine was!

OBSESSED WITH THIS DRESS. You literally feel like a princess so in love with it. Everybody kept complimenting me all night! The fit is very very small. I am 5'1 and 105 pounds and petite. Although the 2R didn't look tight and everybody said it looked like it fit great, It was EXTREMELY SMALL. It barely fit. I almost debated in asking rent the runway to over night me the 4R. Definitely should have gotten a 2R and 4R. I didn't even try on the 0R. The 2R fits like a XS XS. I should have listened to the other reviews about sizing up! You definitely should rent this dress if you want to feel sexy and elegant. Wore it to my boyfriends law school barristers ball.
