Rented this dress for the Bridgerton ball. It was beautiful and loved how full the skirt was! It also had pockets, which was super helpful in keeping my phone handy. It was the perfect length and size and I got lots of compliments! Would definitely rent again :)

This dress was amazing. I was afraid it would be too big, since I normally wear a 6 or a 4, so I actually got two sizes in my "backup" dress (only the 8 was available in this one). But it fit perfectly, and I felt amazing. The pockets and the slit were both terrific features, and the corset meant no need for a bra (I'm a 32/34D, so this was good support). I got SO many compliments! I was sad to have to give it back--I'd happily rent it again for another occasion.

This dress was very comfortable, and the pockets were a lovely bonus. I got numerous compliments, including one from someone I've never met. I'm actually a AAA bust size (not an option in the RtR profile), which makes finding tops and dresses difficult, but the cut of this bodice worked well for me. I wore it with flats - might be a little short if I'd wanted to wear heels.

I loved everything about this dress, especially all of the fun surprises. 1) It has pockets, which automatically calls for a 5-star review. 2) It has a slit in the front that is only visible when you want it to be; it's just tucked into the pleats. 3) The lining on the skirt is dreamy soft. 4) The weight of the skirt is wonderful and warm.

I actually didn't end up wearing this to the wedding but I really wanted to, so I'm still sharing this photo. It surprisingly was perfect length and not too heavy even though a lot of volume in that skirt. Perfect length (3" heels) There's a slit there too to make it easier. Was more sparkly on top but I liked that. Would rent again for another wedding

Fits true to size. I am 5'10 so ordered long and was still able to wear a small heel. I loved the pockets to hold phone and essentials. I did not need tape or strapless bra as dress holds you in nicely. This was my first time renting from here and would definitely recommend it!

The material on both the top and bottom was so beautiful. I got a 4L and the length was perfect with my heels which I thought was odd because I am not talk (only 5’3’’. If you are tall and plan on wearing heels it will be way too short. I normally wear a 4 or 6 and rhe 6 would have been too big. There is a gorgeous slit down the middle not shown in my picture.

The dress fir great! Looks like it will be very heavy but is actually perfect! I wasnt too hot ik it while dancing around! The pockets were so handy and could everything I needed! On problem was when I took off my heels to dance it was a little long but other then that it was perfect!!!

I wore this as a back-up when my other dresses zipper broke. I loved this dress with its slight slit so you can easily move, its awesome pockets, and perfect pleated floof. The compliments jusr didnt stop coming! It is a showstopper!

The back of the gown seems to have been tailored to add fabric - making it higher than pictured on the model and also making it challenging to zip up. The dress fit perfectly. I got tons of compliments and I liked having pockets

I wore the 10 long although it was a little big as the eight long it was a little snug. The length is perfect and I loved the slit in the front. The pockets or a bonus as I got to carry my phone and take pictures. Overall it was a beautiful dress and I felt great and comfortable in it all night.

I rented this dress for our annual family photos. It was absolutely stunning! Beautiful material and the fit was great! It was a tad tight around my ribs and I was able to get away with not wearing a bra, but if you have a large bust (D or larger)- I would size up. Overall, the dress was absolute perfection!

The corset aspect is great, so you don't need a bra. The slit is super fun but under all the folds of fabric, you can't really pull an Angelina Jolie in it. I will warn you, the fabric is HEAVY. I wore it to a summer wedding, which probably wasn't the smartest move on my part because I was so warm but I looked so fire, it was worth it. You'll definitely need at least three-inch heels with this dress if you're short like me.

Y'all... the pockets. This dress hides two VERY deep pockets, perfect for all the things an event planner needs to have on her at all times.

This dress is so beautifully constructed. The skirt fabric is heavy and the wide pleats add so much structure at the bottom but not bulk at the waist. The pleats in the back create beautiful visual interest. Other things to note: it has pockets! And it has a front slit nestled in the front pleats. Truly gorgeous dress. You should rent it if you're considering it!

This dress fits very tight. I'm normally a 6-8, but had to wear a 10. Luckily, RTR was able to overnight a 10 to me so I could wear this dress for my friend's masquerade ball birthday party. It has pockets and a gorgeous slit in the front center. I got so many compliments. I wish I could buy it!!

Rented this dress for a white tie event in January. It was a perfect weight for colder weather--the skirt has a decent amount of fabric. It needed to be steamed with a heavy duty steamer upon arrival (not a problem, just be aware). Ordered the 6R and 8R, ended up going with the 8R. Loved the pockets--I was able to fit my phone in one and lipstick in another without it obviously weighing down the dress. I'm 5'5", wore 2 1/2 inch heels and the length was perfect.

I rented two dresses for my occasion. This dress was my first choice but it looked beautiful on my friend so she wore it instead (pictured left). I chose my other more simple gown (pictured right). The dress had POCKETS!!!

I felt so special in this dress. I would have worn a 10L, but it wasn't available. The 12 was a little loose in the top & waist, but felt like it still was pretty & I really wanted to wear this dress. I didn't try on a Regular, but this long fit perfect with heals & I'm 5'6". The back was not as low as the model, but I worn a sticky bra anyway. Probably could have done strapless. There is a stunning slit in the front, but not noticeable, and there are POCKETS. The color is a deep sapphire

Beautiful dress, so many compliments! And super comfortable, loved the pockets. I'm 5'4", 125lb, A-cup and it fit like a glove. Landed just above the floor and it was the perfect height for a comfortable 2-3in heel. I wore a sticky backless bra but honestly I could have gone without anything and no one would even have noticed!

This dress was exactly as described in other comments. The zipper was difficult but eventually worked fine!

The historical society of our county throws a whiskey tasting every year and each year they have a theme. This year's theme was Classic Hollywood and I wanted a knock-out red carpet look. This dress delivered. I received many compliments and posed for many pictures. It runs pretty true to size and fits comfortably well.

This dress was amazing! I wore it for a black tie wedding. First of all, it had pockets so you can't go wrong there! It was a little tight around the rib cage but otherwise it fit very well and I would say true to size. I received so many compliments all night and flattered my figure well. If you don't have help to zip the dress, you won't be able to wear it! The zipper was almost impossible to zip around seam where the skirt met the top part of the dress. It took quite some time for my friend to zip it up and same to unzip at the end of the night.

I ordered a 2P and 4L. At 5’1” I would’ve rather worn the petite size, but the 2P didn’t fit. The dress was most tight around your torso/stomach, it wasn’t stretchy fabric at all. The 4L was still pretty snug, but I didn’t have too much trouble zipping it up. The 4L dragged on the floor even with 3.5/4” heels. That being said, I got a ton of compliments on the dress and I thought it was totally worth the slimmer fit! Plus with a black-tie event, the pockets were a blessing! I’d recommend ordering your usual size and the size up. If you’re planning on eating a big meal during your event I would even say order the size up from your usual and then the one after that.

This dress was so flattering! I was nervous that the waist would hit in an odd place, but the fit was perfect. Overall it was a comfortable dress, even in the heat because of the slit in the middle of the dress. I would definitely rent again, I never wanted to take it off!

This is the first time I rented a dress from Rent the Runway and I was not disappointed. I put all my trust in Rent the Runway and they came through. I had the dress shipped to Bretton Woods, New Hampshire, a beautiful but rural location in terms of shopping for formal attire. Usually, I have problems finding clothes to fit, but this dress was amazing. I am 5'2", weigh approx 105 lb, I ordered a size 0 and the dress fit perfectly

The dress fit well, and I received a multitude of compliments! It was very comfortable, and I danced the night away without complaint! I didn't wear a bra as the bodice and stays provided enough support. While the back is equally flattering, it doesn't come down as low as in the picture. As was also mentioned in previous reviews, I was prepared for the length to be a little long (and it was) so I wore 4" block heels which made the length just right for me. I absolutely loved the deep pockets for my cell phone to snap quick photos, and hold a tissue or two during the ceremony. One thing of note: it was a gorgeous day but fairly windy; the cocktail party was held outdoors on an elevated steel mesh platform within the tree canopy, and the full skirt was frequently blown up by the breeze...given the beautiful surroundings, it was a minor inconvenience. Overall, I am thrilled with this dress - it was my first choice - and I can't express strongly enough how crucial and useful the reviews including physical stats were in assuring me that I had made a good decision in selecting this dress. Additionally, I'm very pleased with the service, from ordering to the ease of returning the dresses.

I was very happy with this replacement dress! My first pick was too long & I was nervous about the length on this, too. I’m 5’1” and the skirt was perfect with tall heels. I loved the pockets & slit! Definitely a stand-out for a formal event.

I didn't have my husband at this event so the pockets we're a must have! The dress was comfortable and the waist high enough to be comfortable after eating a big meal. The 8L was perfect for my height with 2.5 heels. I saw a few say that if your small chested it's not flattering. That's kinda true. I have a larger rib cage which meant I couldn't get the 6 zipped but felt the top of the 8L dress was just a tad too big. The slit in the front is sneaky-sexy. I spent 7 hours in this dress, 2.5 hours dancing! Also, the zipper was a bit of a pain.

This dress was perfect for the gala I attended. Super fun pockets and a slit as well which helped cool it off a bit. Be prepared to steam the bottom when it arrives. Also the zipper was really difficult so have a helper on standby.

This dress is gorgeous! The pictures don't do it justice. And as an added bonus it has pockets, such a win win. There is also a hidden slit in the front of the dress - it really is in the front, I moved it to the side in my pic to stick my leg out so you can see it. I am 5'6", 120lbs, 32D bust. I ordered and wore the 2L. I would say the dress is true to size. I did not wear a bra with the dress, didn't need to, although if you wanted to wear a strapless bra you could, the back of the dress is a little higher than the model pics show. I wore 4 inch heels and the dress did touch the ground slightly, 4.5 inch heels would've been perfect. I was super scared to get the regular and have to wear flats or have my feet show, I'd rather the dress be longer rather than shorter. Wonderful dress!
