I had ordered a different style dress that they ended up not having one of the sizes. This was my backup dress and was the one I chose to wear to the gala I attended. I loved how it fit and received so many compliments. I normally wear a 14-16 size and my dress was a 16WR. I'm 5'4" and it was just a little long even with a two inch heel.

The fit was perfect, no bra necessary (34 A/B). I am 5'7" so I ordered the dress long. It was too long. I wore two inch platforms and I still needed to hold the dress up when I walked. Regular length would have been perfect. The dress has no pockets that's my only complaint (there was plenty on fabric) great for spinning. The dress definitely made an entrance and we turn heads wearing this gown! The compliments never stopped.

The fit of this dress was perfect. I'm around 5'9" and I wore the dress with flats and it was just the right length. If you want to wear heels definitely go with the long size. The zipper was a little tough because it pulls through a seam so another person is definitely helpful. I didn't wear a bra but you definitely could - the coverage on this dress is pretty solid. Overall an amazing dress that made me feel like a million bucks AND it was comfortable.

I ordered two dresses and this one was actually my backup because ML usually runs a little big on me (I am 5'5", 100 lbs), but this one actually fit like a dream. Besides not having pockets this dress fit perfectly and got unlimited compliments at our event, a Black and White themed Penguin Ball at our local zoo. If it wasn't so memorable I would wear it again, as we are just entering gala season! Loved the fit, the flare, the lily, and the back of the gown which is a slightly deeper V than the front. Fun night feeling like the belle of the ball.

I wish I had more occasions to wear this dress. This is the first time I've worn a gown like this and I absolutely loved it! It was nice and long, but I still kept my heels under 3 inches so the hem would touch the ground. The top was form fitting so I didn't need to wear a bra. The dress had just enough poof to give you that princess feel. Would rent this dress over and over again if I could!

The dress is simply elegant and the flower gives that interesting touch. A stranger stopped me to tell me how beautiful the dress was. I am 5'4" 110 I b and wore size 0R. The fit was great though it is long. I wore it with 4 inch heel and it's still 1-2 inch too long that I kept tripping on it and i had to hold the dress up all night while i walk. I used a bra extension that wrap around my waist to allow low cut back and use clear string straps that work well.

I wore this to a Fundraiser Gala. I ordered a 6R and 8R... unfortunately the zipper on the 6 was not functioning, so I went with the 8. The gown was a heavier material that I expected, and came down low in the back. You'll need a backless bra. I'm about 5'5" and wore a low heel and the length was perfect - no dragging. It really was a show stopper - highly recommend!

This dress is definitely one of a kind! It the perfect gown for a formal affair. It is subtle yet beautifully stated. The painted print is perfectly located and makes you feel regal. The dress fits true to size but has no stretch at all. There is a natural waist on this dress, I would say that is the only tighter park of the dress. Definitely rent this gown for your next special event.

The dress was a bit large in the bust for me. It was also extremely long - an 8L - sent at the last minute by RTR because my voices choices were washouts. That said, wearing this dress was a blast. All night I had strangers coming up, asking me to spread the skirt so they could see the design, gushing about the simplicity of the dress and originality of the print. This dress was also darn comfy to wear. I felt like a million bucks.

Loved this dress, so elegant! I received compliments all night long! Fit great, no bra needed. I did have to wear 3 inch heels because of the length. The zipper is difficult to zip up and it broke when trying to unzip at the end of the night. RTR customer service was great about it.

This is a gorgeous dress, perfect for a black tie affair. I'm 5'4", 113 lbs, and the size 2 was the closest fit. It was a bit long, and I should have used hem tape. I also have a wide rib cage, so it was a bit snug there too. Otherwise wonderful dress!

I rented this for a Gala I attend for my job (we are sponsors for an event and the gala is a MAJOR part of it). I was nervous about the dress as the size 8L was the only one left and I've never fit into an 8 before, but the dress fit perfectly. I got so many compliments about the dress (the calla lily printed on the skirt was a huge hit) and I felt fabulous. It did start to get a little tight at the waist towards the end of the night (but I had eaten a 4 course meal so that's probably why). The only real con to the dress I found was the zipper, which a few others have mentioned in their reviews so I was prepared going into it. It is definitely a zipper someone else needs to zip for you, at least right at the seam on the waist. The dress fabric is very thick right there and it took some gentle tugging to get it up. Luckily, I was dressing at a coworker's home so her husband could zip it for me because there was no zipping it on my own.

This. Dress. It was not my first choice, I had to have it overnighted when my first didn't work out. It is true to size, but very long. I definitely would've been better off with the 6R. Despite being insanely long, it was so beautiful. I received more compliments than I can count. I didn't want the night to end!

Fit was flattering, but very long. I had to gather it up to walk normally, but found I was able to dance as long as I kept moving! Boning up the side kept the fit tight, but was a bit uncomfortable when seated as it poked into my side below the armpit. Didn't wear a bra (couldn't have) but the fit was close enough to not be revealing. I felt like a princess and got compliments all night long. Would rent again.

I rented this for a formal wedding. It was actually a last minute add on when my original pick was not available. I loved this dress more than I thought I would. The fabric is thick and silky and the pattern is beautiful. I did not have a problem with the length and easily wore flats (I'm 5'7"). I was 24 weeks pregnant at the wedding and definitely had a bump. But felt comfortable and confident!! Would definitely recommend and rent again.

It was so comfortable and beautiful and just perfect. I'm 5'4, 115lb, and a B cup and it fit like a dream. I feel like this dress is best for women who are either really small and narrow or larger and super curvy. I didn't have any issue with the length, but I got the regular length. Tip: wear a strapless bra with a convertible low back strap. 10/10 would rent again.

So fun to wear with a beautiful full skirt. Make sure you leave extra time to lightly press or steam, it arrives a little wrinkled due to the full skirt.

I am 5'8" and typically wear a size 8. The 8L fit great, but was slightly long wearing 3" heels. The fabric was sturdy and I did not feel like I was going to step on the dress though. I received so many compliments and absolutely loved this dress. I only have a couple small criticisms. As other reviewers pointed out, the zipper is a bit sticky, but I was able to get it to work. Also, I am a 32F/34DDD, I chose not to wear a bra and the bust of the dress flattened the girls in a slightly awkward manner. I still loved this dress and would highly recommend it!

Loved this dress and I received so many compliments. I typically wear an 18/20 or a 2x in ready to wear clothes and the 18L was perfect. I am 5'10 as well. Great experience with RTR and would definitely do it again!!!

This dress is gorgeous and I got tons of compliments on it. Wore to a formal Saturday night wedding. I am pretty consistently a 16 but this did run big in the upper waist and bust. I think I would have fit better in a 14. As for the hips it doesn't matter because there is tons of room, making it very comfortable to wear. Would highly recommend. A fuller bust would probably have filled out the top of the gown better, but I still loved this rental.

This was my back up dress for a black and white NYE gala and I didn't end up wearing it to the event. Still, it fit like a dream other than being a bit long without heels which I don't wear since my husband is shorter than me). The material is beautiful. I will definitely rent this for another event!

Alright, the reviews said it was gonna be tight and runs small. I personally found it to be great! This was my backup style when I ordered but I went with it. The print is so lovely and it's a good length (I am 5ft 8in). My only complaint is that it came with a small stain on the flower - but you couldn't see it from a distance. I got a ton of compliments on this!

I just loved this dress! I had initially ordered a simpler gown from the same designer, but they didn't have my back up size so RTR shipped an alternate. I ordered this one as an extra backup and fell in love the Cala Lilly design. The one thing I will note is that for this designer, the L length, which I had initially ordered, was nearly a foot longer than the others from the same designer, and was impossible to wear. The RTR team sent the R length at the last minute to arrive at my hotel the day of the wedding, and it was similar to the L in the others. Thank goodness it fit and we were off! The fabric was so beautiful- I would have loved to have purchased the dress. I received a lot of compliments and felt great.

I rented this dress once before and knew it was a safe pick for me. I didn't think it was possible, but it looked even better the second time around. I cannot say enough about this dress, from the fit to the flow, it's perfect if you have a petite frame. I'm 5'5", 110lbs, 32AA chest and this dress does nothing but compliment the body.

It is understated and not too billowy, while still having enough volume to be special. The black with the calla lily detail has a lot of visual interest, without being overwhelming. I ended up wearing it to 2 events: a charity gala and a very formal professional event, and it was perfect both times.

Definitely small in the rib cage, so I went with the larger size. Felt fantastic and was insanely flattering.
