Wore this to my December baby shower and couldn't have been more pleased with my choice. Monique Lhuillier is a favorite designer of mine because all of her stuff-in my experience-is well-made and comfortable. This dress is no exception; fabric is sturdy without being heavy, and the color is a fantastic burgundy. Wore 2 sizes up to accommodate my 30 week baby bump.

I'm 5'2" and 138 pounds. The size 6 was big on top but the size 4 fit perfectly. It was so comfortable to sit, stand and dance (6 hours of dancing and this dress stood the test of time). I highly recommend this style for girls like me with a bit of a booty and smaller waist! Bonus: the open back is such a unique touch to a more conservative front. Love love love.

Ideal fit: not too tight, but fitted. Modest, but flirty (lace + open back). The sleeves were a bit tight because the lace didn't have much give, but all in all a great dress, and I would rent it again in a heartbeat.

Flattering, gorgeous dress. fine quality. beautiful color. The bare back is a game changer and quite a contrast with the apparently conservative front. I went bra-less as others have said and it was fine. I'm 34D. I wore the 8R. Tips: clasp the collar before you zip the skirt! this gives you more access to the collar clasps. Not so good for dancing due to close fit. Note to RTR: the 10R bottom clasp on the collar is missing!

The dress is not super stretchy but it has enough give for a bump! I wore a size 8R -‘d wore this dress at 27 weeks pregnant. I am 5’6” (and weighed 160 and 36DD bra size when I wore it).

I'm 5'7" 150lbs 36D. This dress was amazing for a formal dinner. I fit in the 6 as well but I liked the 8 better. Don't skip on this dress.

I felt amazing. It's lined so nothing showed but I did wear Nippies I got Amazon. I didn't wear a bra. 10/10

Have body tape at the ready. You'll need to use it if you need a bra. I used bra cups and the tape. I had other women amazed at how it all worked! Then, when I turned around, it was a big surprise. Demure in the front, party in the back. Careful, though, when going to the bathroom. I almost walked out without pulling the under-slip down and showing off way more than intended!

This dress was beautiful but not my favorite. The hem was kind of a weird length, not long and not short. My boobs were too small too fill out the chest space so there was some gaping. If you can’t go bra-less don’t rent this…the open back is beautiful but can’t wear a bra! The overall dress was a little large, not form fitting on the stomach or butt.

This dress is beautiful! I wore it to a wedding and loved how classy it is from the front- but with that extra detail in the back! I got so many compliments all night! It did stretch a bit towards the end of the night but it was so comfortable to dance, walk, and sit in. I would absolutely rent this again!

I got so many compliments on this dress! It was perfect for a winter wedding, the long sleeves and high neck are great for when its cold outside. The deep red was so nice for holiday vibes. The size 4 was a perfect fit. I was surprised that even the sleeves fit nicely and were not loose. It was fitted throughout the waist to show off some curves. The open back was a nice touch.

Rented this is photograph an event at the Rainbow Room. Maybe a touch too sexy for work, but I was into it.

I typically wear a 4 and it fit fine. I could squeeze into the 2 as well but the 4 was a better fit. I wore pasties underneath since the back is completely open.

This dress photographs beautifully. It's very important to get the size right, because there is no stretch. It's not a dancing dress by any means. It's more of a dinner and picture dress. Loved it. There were even little zippers on the wrist sleeves.

Form fitting, sexy dress. The high neck and knee length keeps it classy, but the open back is so pretty! The material has a little stretch to it so it's easy to dance in. The back is very low (no bra possible).

I love this dress !! It certainly runs true to size. I wore a size 6. I would recommend going up a size for a backup. This dress works great for any cup size. I would recommend wearing either a Nu Bra or no bra at all since the back of the dress in open. This dress is more for a straight fit, there little to no hug around your curves. At 5'4 in 3 1/2 in heels, this dress was knee length. I am obsessed with the color of this dress.

It fit perfectly and was comfortable. It made me feel sophisticated. Perfect for a fall wedding. The dress did smell funny though. Didn't love that.

This dress is gorgeous. I wore it to a winter gala, and it was perfect. The open back was my favorite part. You definitely could not wear a regular bra. I wore nipple tape instead. It does have a little stretch to it, which makes it nice to sit and/or move in. Highly recommend!

I wore this dress for my birthday in NYC. We had reservations at a top restaurant, so I decided to go for this. My birthday was in September, so this was a perfect fall color. If fit perfectly, and was extremely comfortable to wear. I loved this dress, and wish it was hanging in my closet. I highly recommend this dress!

I have rented this dress MULTIPLE times because I love it so much. The fit is true to size, but beware, there isn't any stretch. It's also not as long as it looks on the model (it hit me a little below the knee). I love the long sleeve lace detail and the open back. Shows just the right amount of skin for a formal event.

I've eyed this dress for months and finally had a chance to wear it to a wedding. It fits perfectly. I love the high neck and details of the lace. The open back means you need a backless bra (if you wear one). It was comfortable for a night full of dancing and I just loved this. I received a million compliments. :)

The burgundy lace is just heavy enough to create smooth lines. A tad tight when you sit down, but I opted to wear the 8 anyway rather than a 10 (my back-up size) as the 10 was a little loose around the arms and back for me. My only complaint is that at 5'9" this dress was more knee-length than tea-length on me, but I'm sure no one noticed but me. Wore it with a sticky bra, though that probably wasn't necessary. Wanted to keep it!

This dress fits true to size, I think I could have worn the 2 but it's so fitted and the lace and material does not have any give so the 4 was better. The back really makes this dress and I got so many compliments. The color is rich and flattering. It was nice to be able to wear something that wasn't too flashy but still a little fun!

Really enjoyed this dress. It was a little lose on the back, making the tags stick out so keep that in mind. I suggest fastening them somehow, otherwise they come out. Outside of that, this was such a fun dress! I always like to have a little sexy twist to my dresses and it provided it. The front/long lace was fun and unique as well. Loved it!

This was my first rent and it won't be my last! The fit was awesome... I have never felt so confident in a dress before. I didn't even wear a bra with this dress. I ordered the one that was suggested, but ended up not even needing it. The lace does get a little loose at the end of the night, just a heads up. Overall im so happy with my first experience at RTR!!!

I wish I owned this dress! I am 5'7" 135lbs, and the 4R fit like a glove. No complaints here-- It was perfectly comfortable and I felt really beautiful. I got complimented the entire night!

I am 20 weeks pregnant and this dress fit like a dream. Made me feel so sexy even when I am always feeling a bit "fluffly". Everything was held in nicely and no bra was needed.

It was a snug fit. Not too tight. Very comfy and easy to dance and move around in. I thought I would need a size 4 but the 2 fit great! I would definitely rent this dress again!
