This was my original choice for a wedding but since they didn't end up having my backup size, rtr sent me by backup dress in both sizes and this one in just 1 size. I loved them both so wore this to the wedding and the other to the reception! I normally wear a 12 but could wear the 10 in this one. I have a little pooch on my tummy so it was a lil tighter in this area, but was comfortable enough. Wore a nubra with it and you couldn't see it thru the lace front. Felt great in it while I had it on and received many compliments!!

Loved the dark rich purple on this dress. It felt very comfortable yet stylish with the deep "v" in the front. No bra could be used, so just be prepared to have some backup plan. Pockets were great. Fun and flirty. Many many compliments

Wore this for a friend's wedding then to my 10 year high school reunion! Great dress, ended up wearing the size up since it was more comfortable, but the fit was great and i didn't need to wear a bra. Straps were a little long for me but that is always an issue so nothing new there. The lining on the inside was a little strange, hard to explain but it was like the bottom had thick elastic that was curved? It didn't affect the fit or look or anything, but just thought I would make a note of it. Overall, a great dress would highly recommend!

Wore this for my New Year's Eve Mardi Gras themed party and it was a hit! I never wear purple, but it was perfect! The front is super sexy without being too revealing. Loved this one!

This dress fit so well! The purple color is amazing. I wore the 6 and ordered an 8 as a backup. I word a nude strapless bra and I don't think anyone could even see it, but my fiance loved the cleavage. I wore it for NYE and the pockets came in super handy when I was standing outside and my hands got cold!

This was my first RTR and it was AMAZING. and, POCKETS! Dress was snug in the waist but that helped the chest area fit better (I am small-busted). My hips are my largest area and I felt SO great in this dress from that perspective. Get. This. Dress!

This dress is stunning. I will so though that although you don't need to wear a bra, someone with a larger chest (like me) who feels more comfortable with the psychological support of a bra (like me) can get a backless, plunge bra (like me) and solve the problem. It isn't necessary, but I felt better. And I got one at Target for 24.99. I will say that the only disappointment is that the dress wasn't properly pressed. I knew it would need to be steamed because it's being shipped in a garment bag. But, it had not previously been properly pressed so that the pleats were not done correctly. But that's a detail only I noticed. Can't wait to rent the runway again!

This dress is EXACTLY what I was looking for. I rented for a Mardi Gras themed Masquerade party and this was the perfect balance of sexy and classy. AND it has pockets. Always a selling point for me. It did run small. I have a small waist for my size and it barely zipped up. But it did zip so everything worked out perfectly. Loved the dress!

Another wonderful rental from RTR! Rented this dress for an early 1960s themed formal event and it was perfect. I ordered the 10 and 12 and the 10 zipped but I opted for the 12 for more room in the rib cage. I got so many compliments! The color is such a exquisite purple and even though the V is so low in front, the lace makes it tasteful. I chose not to wear a bra and it was fine. Seriously, do yourself a favor and rent this dress! Oh! And the pockets...so cute!

Loved this dress because it fit so well and made me feel and look like a million bucks! The material is a brilliant purple color that looks amazing in pictures. The dress hit at the perfect spot on my waist and then flared which did a great job hiding my hips. The deep V in the front and back is sexy, yet appropriate :) I was able to wear a nude strapless bra and it went virtually undetected, despite the deep V, and see-through lace in the front. I highly recommend this dress!

Perfect purple dress for event where I needed purple!

Fit was true to size and perfect for a pear shape body. I'm a 36DD, and the neckline cut of the dress left little to the imagination, but the lace over it made it appear elegant.

The only trouble was getting the zipper up. I needed my roommate's help and I wouldn't have been able to wear it if she wasn't around. After I was in it, it fit great!

The fit is pretty spot on. If you have a large bust, you might need a bigger size, but that's the only thing that would likely affect sizing. I'm a small D/large C, and the size 4 chest fit was slightly snug, but not terrible. I thought that there might be too much skin showing with the open back, but it was definitely work party-appropriate. I highly recommend this dress!!! Very flattering!

The 8 was a great fit, the zipper was a bit tricky but they are in a lot of dresses. The color of this dress was beautiful and the front cut out was just enough sexiness. I hope this dress will go on sale soon so I can add it to my personal collection!!

The fit is tighter around the rib cage, so when sitting down, I had to have perfect posture. No worries about anything falling out in the chest area. The dress looks stiff, but it flows nicely. If I could have afforded to buy the dress, I would have!!

The size 2 was a perfect fit. At 17-yrs old, I wanted an "in style" look with a youthful, classy design and that is exactly what this dress delivered. I am tall with long legs so, shorter dresses are challenging; however, this dress was perfect.

Loving the hidden deep v front and open deep v back on this Monique Lhuillier. Running true to size, we recommend sizing up for backup. While the natural waist is more fitted, there is room in the bust and ample room in the hips. To avoid undergarments showing through the lace we do recommend a NuBra or no bra with this style. Pair with classic heels and delicate jewelry.

Beautiful color, moved great and fit like a glove! My only issue was the chest area. I felt like I was hanging out the whole time. I do have a smaller chest, so maybe with a larger bust there wouldn't be as much gap as there was with me.

This dress had great color and structure. It showed A LOT of cleavage so just keep that in mind if you are busty. For reference I am a 44" bust, 43" hips and 34" waist. So I normally wear a 12/14 pant, L/XL shirt and depending on the bust of the dress and material I can range from a 14-18.

As soon as I saw this dress in person, I was even more in love with it. I knew it was perfect for the family wedding I was attending. And I recieved so many compliments on how it looked, the color, it was truly perfect for me and my body type! The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because there were two small holes in the lace by my right breast. It wasn't noticeable to anyone else, but I knew it was there and was very self-conscious of it all night. However, the overall fit was perfect for me, except for some slight gaps in the back area.

This dress was a winner, classic & timeless, with an illusion neckline that really brought the look together. It is very fitted around the ribcage & waist, but I would still say it's true to size. I received a ton of compliments and felt super glamorous.

Loved this dress, photographed well, has pockets! The only issues were that my necklace stuck to the lace occasionally and the chest was a little loose but I think I was the only one that noticed. Would rent again.

I made an appointment at the NYC store to rent several dresses for a long Indian wedding weekend. My cocktail attire was an afterthought compared to some of the other looks required, but my stylist chose this. What felt a little "ordinary" on the hanger was an incredibly fun and festive dress on the bod. I am 5'9" and have still-nursing 36DD chest, the plunge is LOW both front and back and I needed one of those stick-on backless strapless plunge doohickeys. I'm not the no-bra type. I was still a little self-conscious but everything stayed in. Overall the gorgeous jewel tone of this dress, combined with the sexy lace paneling, made this the perfect choice for a cocktail reception.

Lace is sturdy and in good condition. Top is a little big for my bust 36b, but waist is tight, so still needed the 8 instead of the 6. I wish I could have filled out the top a bit more but can't fix that since there is no way to wear a bra. Back is too low for one. Easy to press out wrinkles from shipping and held up well throughout the night.

Beautiful color. Love the pockets. Sexy but in a demure, subtle way. The 2 fit perfectly- but the dress has no give and I wanted to eat. Would definitely rent again.

I felt fabulous in this dress!! It was little snug around waist and the top may have been stretched out a bit from a previous renter. If you have a larger chest this will work for you! I was able to wear a low cut bra and it was covered in the back too. The pockets were a nice plus as usual.
