Another great rental! As with most of the long gowns, it's long-I wore 4 inch heels with it. But I like when they touch the floor. I received tons of compliments, wish I could have kept it :) It's very flattering and slimming the waistline, too.

The fit was great! This dress really makes you look like you have serious curve even if you are pretty straight. The dress was super long. I'm 4'11 and was wearing 4 inch heels and there were about 3 inches left. It was a good thing that I was stationery for most of the shots. They ran out of 0P or 2P. I normally wear a size 0 but ML dress tends to be smaller in sizes.

This dress made me look & feel like a movie star! I am STILL receiving compliments on it days later - The fit was amazing & I accessorized with emerald green jewelry to give a pop of color!

The fit is true to size through the hips but I would say it runs snug through the rib cage and bust area. I wear a 34D bra and could only zip this dress without it. After zipping however, it looked lovely. Regular Length perfect for 3 1/2 inch heels on me and I'm just about 5'3''. Very happy with the earrings that I also rented from RTR.

Loved this dress, I did take into consideration the reviews that said the bust ran small, fortunately that works for me, but if your busty, I would go up a size. The dress was absolutely beautiful and I got several compliments on it, Very flattering in all the right places!!

I loved wearing this dress. It fit so well and did not need any adjusting the entire evening. It was so comfortable and so flattering and just perfect for a formal wedding occasion. The only size left when I ordered was a petite so I could not wear heels and think it would have looked so much better with heels but even without - I got many, many compliments and had a very hard time sending this dress back! Would order over and over with rent The Runway - they are truly an amazing company with the best customer service angel helpers I have ever encountered. Love you guys! xo

Runs small in the bust, I was glad I had the option of the size up from my normal (typically 10-12 depending on designer). I went with the regular length because the long wasn't available. Definitely go with the long if you plan on wearing any kind of heels.

Everyone wanted to take pictures with me as if I was a celebrity. I felt absolutely beautiful. My husband couldn't keep his hands off of me :-) it truly hugs your curves all in the right places.

This dress was absolutely perfect for the fundraiser I attended. As other reviews have indicated, no bra was necessary. The feel of this dress is very glamorous and I received endless complements. No other dresses even came close to this one, which was really fun! I tried both the 10R and 12R, but ended up wearing the more snug dress because it felt more secure and the length was a little better for my height (the 12R was about an inch or so longer). There is a band that clasps inside around the rib cage, but on the 10R the hook was missing and the boning in the bustier part was not straight; this did not affect the fit and I had no problem wearing the dress. The over the shoulder sheer part was not a tight fit, but I just made sure to adjust it as necessary to make it lay the way I wanted, no big deal. I did opt for Spanxs to keep it all smooth. I also rented the bracelet and earrings and could not have been more thrilled with the final look. I wish I had more photos!

I would say the gown runs true to size to slightly small. I was able to wear the size 12 in the other gowns sent, but this one fit like a glove in a 14. It was extremely flattering and super comfortable. Rent the runway went above and beyond when my original dress arrived and didn't fit. They sent me the options I asked for and even threw in some extras for me to try. This dress was absolutely stunning and head turning! Thank you!

I wore the dress for a performance in an opera and it fit perfectly. It was a little long, so I had to wear very tall shoes with it. So many people said how beautiful the dress was. This was my first experience with Rent the Runway, and I will definitely recommend it to others and consider renting again.

Fit was great! I could of taken a size down for a tighter fit around the waist but it fit well in the bust-I'm a 34D . The length was perfect for my 5'11" frame. I did wear 2" heels. And the dress was still long enough! I felt like the bell of the ball! A very elegant and comfortable dress! Wish I could if kept it!

I received this dress as a back up for my backup dress. right before my order was set to ship, RTR let me know that my backup size was unavailable an they offered to replace it with another dress, regardless of price! unfortunately, I was unable to wear this dress as I made a goof and ordered the dress in a regular size - not knowing there were petite sizes available. although it fit fantastic and would have suited my mardi gras ball, this dress ended up being several feet too long! there was no way I could have managed to drag that extra material around without ruining it. it was a gorgeous dress that fit amazing, but was just too long for me to wear. I would absolutely consider this dress again in the appropriate length!

Fits tight in bust. I'm a 38C, and while the 10 fit much better in the hips, I needed the 12 in the bust. The dress was also a bit too long, but I just lifted the skirt when I walked. Customer service was amazing!

This dress is so flattering. Accentuates the positives and conceals the trouble areas. The fit was great and true to size. Perfect for any shape. I received so many compliments. I wore this dress to a Mardi Gras Ball, which also fell on my birthday. I felt like the Queen of the Ball. It was hard to send this dress back!

The dress fit perfectly but was a little too long even with 4" heels. If you're 5'5" and shorter I would recommend a petite size. Other than that, timeless dress.

This was a backup dress sent after my 1st choice dress was unavailable. My friend flew into town with another RTR dress she didn't love and she ended up wearing this one! I tried it on myself but it was tight in the bust (just as described online) so I wore my 2nd choice dress (seen here) and my friend wore this one.

I wore this dress for a black tie gala at the Embassy of Italy in Washington, D.C. I am usually a size 0 for all Rent the Runway dresses, however, this dress was a bit snug since the material is stiff, it doesn't give. I had to be very careful when sitting down. I'm a petite girl but I didn't feel that the dress overwhelmed me at all. It was a bit long. I'm 5'1" and wore 4 inch stiletto heels. When you order, definitely get your size and a size up. I wore a normal strapless bra with it, but you really don't have to. Nonetheless, I received compliments all night from both men and women--it really makes a statement.

I know it is hard to pick a size after reading SO MANY reviews on here so let me spell it out for you: size up (the rib cage area is very tight) and if you are 5'3" and plan on wearing heels get the Regular length. End of story, no debating needed. I got the 4P and it fit great, I just had to wear flats due to the length. Other than that it is a beautiful, comfortable dress that accentuates all of the right places and no shapewear is needed (hallelujah!). My original dress was damaged beyond repair and RTR was able to replace it with this gorgeous number. They are truly amazing!

I wore this dress to a black tie wedding and it looked great! I received compliments all night. I picked this dress because I liked how flattering it looked on all of the other contributors that had previously rented it. It fit perfectly in all the right places, great for a curvy figure.

This was my first time using RTR- I was a little nervous when I got the dress because I did not order a back up size or alternate dress, I read all of the reviews and based my choice off of them- it ended up fitting like a glove! It was just a tad tight around the rig cage and chest area, but nothing unbearable, I just did not wear a bra. (Note- I am a full 32b/small c) I wore 2.5 inch heels and the bottom of the dress just barely skimmed the floor, perfect length for the heel height but anything taller wouldn't look right. I think it is prettier in person than in pictures. I got a lot of compliments and would def recommend this dress. Looking forward to using RTR again in the future!

I actually rented this dress for prom and I'm so happy that I did. This dress is absolutely gorgeous. This dress runs true to size it fit me perfectly and the dress got here on time as well. If you want a dress that will turn heads everywhere you go , this is def. the dress. It can also be worn for any occasion. I will def be ordering from RTR again !

The dress was a little big on me, but I usually wear a 12P (sadly, that wasn't available by the date I needed it). It fit well, but was still a little long on my 5'1" frame. A massive pair of platform pumps fixed that! The shoulder sash bit was also too long, but I pinned it and think it looked lovely. The dress was actually pretty comfortable, though I think the criss-cross design draws attention to the tummy, which I was slightly self-conscious about. The folks at RTR were amazing, btw. I had no time to mess around, so I emailed explaining that I needed petite dresses for a curvy/larger girl (size 12/14). I got a response within minutes that listed a few options. I chose one and a second for backup (didn't wear that one in the end). Everything went smoothly thanks to RTR and its amazing team! This site is a busy woman's best friend. Seriously.

The dress fit like a glove, i could have went up a size to the 2 for more room but the 0 looked perfect. Take note that the shoulder tulle goes to the same side as the zipper. At my 5'1" height the tulle was a little long but didn't get in the way of walking too bad. All in all the dress is incredibly well made and looks amazing. I'm extremely sad to be returning it.

RTR sent this dress as a backup after my initial order didn't work out. I was leery at first, don't really do lace, but I must admit this dress was really flattering and comfortable! My daughter and I attended a debutante ball and decided to have a photographer friend get some formal shots of us before the event. We have received many compliments from the photos already. We felt amazing!! It was awesome to dress up in designer dresses -- I'm already plotting my next RTR move. Kudos to the customer service team for getting this option to me so quickly!

I'll be honest, when Rent the Runway called and told me that my BCBG dress was damaged, I had a panic attack. But they sent me a list of other dresses in my size, and when I saw that this was available, I couldn't believe it. The dress was exactly my style. But they only had it in a 0L, and I wasn't sure if I could fit into it. Luckily, it arrived and fit perfectly (well, if I didn't wear a bra with it, which looked absolutely fine). Rent the Runway has amazing customer service, and I can't help but think that it was just meant to be. I'm not sure if I would have liked the BCBG dress as much. All throughout my senior prom night, I received compliments on the dress. Even non-prom-goers I saw as I walked around Atlanta told me I looked "stunning." However, I'm a bit sad that I have to give the dress back today :(

This dress fit beautifully and was really comfortable to wear! It was an emergency back up when the original dress I'd ordered was returned damaged by the previous renter. RTR customer service was fantastic and made sure I had this dress by the morning of my event. I can't say enough good things about the Go-To Girls who helped me! The dress was a little long, but with a 3+ inch heel, I had no problems. The ruching was very forgiving and I didn't need a bra. The built in bra could fasten inside the dress on the side, but it was a hair too tight for me, so I just left it unhooked and you couldn't tell. I got a ton of compliments on this dress and it was definitely a hit with my husband. I can't wait to rent from RTR again!

It was the perfect length with 3 inch heels. I'm 5'1". I have a small chest and narrow shoulders but the dress was perfect. No complaints about this one!!

I had a baby 3 months before wearing this gown, and the 12L fit me perfectly. It was very flattering and super comfortable! Not to mention, I am very tall and it hit the floor!

I really loved this dress and would even consider renting it again for another event. It came in great condition, no snags or signs of wear. I ordered both the 0 and 2, and the 2 fit really well other than the chest, which was pretty tight. I don't often run into that problem because although I'm a full C cup my rib cage is pretty small, so I would recommend sizing up if you have a large bust. I couldn't even get the 0 to close over my chest, although it fit everywhere else. The length of the 2R was perfect and just about an inch above the floor with 4 inch heels (I'm 5' 4.5"), while the 0R was a bit too short.

I had so much fun wearing this dress! People kept telling me all night how sexy I looked. I ordred the 6R and 8R. The 6 fit, but I had more room to move and dance in the 8 so I wore it and was much more comfortable. I am glad I went with the Regular length. I spent a while debating between Regular and Long because I am 5'7", but I was able to wear my super comfy 3in heels and didn't have issues with my feet killing me at the end of the night. My shoes showed when I walked, but I didn't have to worry about stepping all over the dress all night. Another great rental!

I kept reading that the dress had no give/stretch (which is true) and that it wouldn't be good for someone with a large bust. But I'm here to tell you that of my features, I have that 'hourglass shape' with extra in the bust and rear end department and the dress couldn't have been more flattering. Even if you show a little cleavage, the black tulle that drapes over your shoulder camouflages it so you don't look too exposed, but rather sexy and elegant. And I consider myself a rather conservative dresser. It really does give you that sexy, yet classy look. The negative - while I am 5'1'', I do tend to wear higher heals, but because I did order the petite size, the length was also petite so I did end up wearing lower heals (2 1/2-3" ?). My original heels made the dress look to short. But all that meant is I was actually comfortable in my heels all night! So if you're concerned about needing extra length, be sure to go for the regular or long. The dress fits true to size. It was my first rental from RTR and like it says on the box and dress bag, this dress "is just the beginning." Will definitely be renting again soon!

Not a great photo of the entire dress. It was breathtaking. If you have a chest or are broader, I would size UP! I ordered an 8 and 10..needed a 12 for my chest. I normally wear an 8 in dresses..no more than a 10. i had to pin it to a black strapless bra because i couldn't get the zipper up the last 2 inches. Other than that...spectacular. Wore for a gala event!
