Fits true to size, arms are a little tight but overall super comfortable! Stunning Dress!

Beautiful gown - tons of compliments. Fit snugly and was overall very flattering - very tight in underarms, but I'd rather the lace be too tight than too loose. Only complaint was that the dress came with 2 holes I had to sew up a few hours before my event. Good length for tall girls, but could not wear with very high heels or else it would have been too short.

Wearing at least a 4 inch heel on my petite 5'3" frame was a necessity....at that height, the dress was perfect in length. As in some of the other reviews, the sleeves do fit a little snug, but not uncomfortably tight. This dress is very comfortable and I was able to dance the night away with ease for the New Years Eve wedding I attended! I love Marchesa!! The compliments I received on this dress were numerous. This is my first Rent The Runway experience, and I am more than satisfied....I will be back!!!

The dress fit beautifully and the detailing was great. I am 5' 4" and with heels it was the perfect length.

I wore this dress to my daughter's vineyard wedding. It was perfect! I got more compliments than I could count. The dress does not have a tapered waist, but it fits very well. It has two linings, therefore spanx aren't necessary. The lace and mesh are very delicate however, and the dresses I received had been repaired, but because of the vine and leaf pattern, it was not noticable. I was comfortable all night long and felt wonderful. It as very appropriate for a wedding, but with only the lace on top, I didn't feel old or matronly. The color is a cranberry, which is just what we were looking for! I was very pleased and would recommend this rental.

Worked perfectly for this event and she fell in love with the dress. We really needed the Long version of the dress but it wasn't available. She is 5' 9" and could have easily worn the dress with flats.

This dress was beautiful! It runs a little small. I'm usually a 12 or 14, and this 14 only fit with Spanx and no bra. The color and material were beautiful. It was also shorter than the recommendations. I usually never need a long length both this dress hit my ankles without heels. Ultimately I wore my backup because I felt the lace didn't photograph well; it exposed my belly curves in an unflattering way. I would rent this again if I lost a few lbs and ordered the long length.

This is certainly one of the most beautiful dresses I have ever worn. Elegant, conservative yet sexy at the same time. This dress is LONG- I am 5'7", wore 4.5" heels and it touched the ground slightly.The sleeves are NOT forgiving there is no stretch/ give to them. If you have muscular arms - it may be difficult to wear. Also, I would imagine that the model has the dress cinched in the back- it does not contour at the waist as it shows in the photo. Ok to wear nude bra with it- doesn't show. Overall, The detail in this dress is incredible, the color photographs beautifully. I would have liked for it to be slightly more form fitting at the waist. Experience with RTR- 5 stArs.

I'll start with the cons because there aren't many: I ordered a 12r and 14r, I loved the length if the 12r but I couldn't get the back to close comfortably, so I went with the 14. I would've preferred a long I'm both, but they weren't available, although, I suspect the 12 actually was a long. I am very shapely, with large breasts and a large hip/bottom area. The dress fit my curves perfectly. It was perfect for a black tie affair! I'm so glad a designer like Marchesa looks out for us thick girls! I will say this though, I have very small arms, so this dress wasn't a problem at all. My arms are the same size as they were when I was a size 8, so this might not work for someone who has larger arms.

I LOVED this dress! It fit perfectly and true to size. The only thing was the arms were a bit tight and it was definitely long. I'm 5'9" and I wore 3 1/2 inch heels and it hit right to the ground. It was snug on the chest, I'm a D cup so I did not wear a bra. I received SO many compliments and it really felt like such a special gown to wear. It arrived perfectly on time and my rent the runway experience was perfect.

There is no stretch in the lace of this dress. Going up one size gave me plenty of room to move and still fit like a dream!

Dress arrived with holes in the mesh sleeves. My tailor sewed them up for me by hand. Otherwise the dress fit like a glove. I received so many compliments. Gorgeous winter wine color. Modest, formal, elegant and classy!

The lace is very, very delicate, so it's important to be conservative when wearing it. The overall comfort was fantastic and the dress was beautiful.

Ordered regular length and it ended up being very short (not sure if someone shortened), i'm 5' 5' and it barley hit my ankles... also, it was more matronly than I wanted so I ended up wearing a different dress.

The dress fit well on my curvy figure and accentuated my trimmer arms and while not hugging too closely on the hips.

I wore the 4 because the 6 was not available. My seamstress had to repair the sleeve of the 4 on the day of the wedding because it arrived with a large rip. The sleeves on this dress are tight; though the rest of the dress fits a little big. I normally wear a 6 or 8 and I squeezed into this dress with Spanx to dance all night in the 4. Conservative but not aging - I did get allot of compliments.

Beautiful dress, but unfortunately it had a few tears in the lace sleeves. It fit great, hugged the right places. Got tons of compliments and felt so glamorous.

Pros: Beautiful!!! Cons: So many rips in the mesh when I received it : (. I decided to suck it up and pretend like they weren't there but some people definitely noticed and were a little weirded out... So if you are ordering the 4L, you are warned! **I'm always in between a 2 and 4 in dresses. I'm rather tall, with child bearing hips, with nothing to give on top, so I ordered the 2 and the 4L to see which fit better. The 2 was an inch short (without heels) so I definitely did not want that dress so I was stuck with the 4 that still fit but had to compensate the extra length by wearing 4-5 inch heels

Slightly snug and the length was no where near a long. Must have gotten shipped a short length it literally came up to my shins. Poor quality as well not a fan of this dress. Returned it upon arrival.
